We were on a tight budget and LH Brubaker worked with our budget to find us the best quality appliances while also giving us great information on the brands we were looking at. I always thought I would be over-paying at an appliance store vs a big box store like Lowes or HD, but not only were LH Brubaker prices comparable, in some cases, they were also better. Top that with the help and information they provided on not one, but two rebates (one not available to be redeemed with purchase through a big box store), it ended up being MUCH better to buy from them. In addition to the excellent level of service, we also purchased the extended warranties and had LH install our appliances. Craig and Mark were our installers and they did an excellent job and took great care of both the new appliances and our home. I feel good knowing LH has their own service department and if anything happens with my new appliances they will take care of it without me having to call 100 places and talk to 100 different people just to have someone write it off, sticking me with the bill. Overall, I search for the best deals everywhere and value good customer service. LH Brubaker knocked it out of the park with our appliance purchase experience. Do not hesitate to use them!

Great experience ordering a new bathroom fan motor. My…read morebathroom's fan died after 25 years of loyal and brave service. The fan was originally put in during construction and it was a cheap "contractors' special" fan (though it did last 25 years). Because of the fan's small size and no access to the attic, I was very limited on full replacement options. Rather than buy a new fan unit and having to shoehorn it into the bathroom ceiling (including wiring) I though maybe I could just swap out the old motor and replace it with a new one.. I was at a disadvantage because a previous homeowner removed the fan model number sticker and the motor didn't have any part number on it.. I spend a day researching bathroom fan parts from the late 90's and finally found the motor at McCombs that looked exactly like my fan's old motor. The part arrived quickly, faster than the expected delivery date. The part appeared to be the exact match to the original.. I was able to install it within 20 minutes. Fan works great. Just a note in general about buying replacement parts online and doing it yourself. You really need to make sure that you order the right part and be willing to "make it work" if need be. For example, the motor I ordered was just the part. I had to use the existing grounding wire, washers, nuts from the old motor to make it work perfectly. There was no instruction manual, so you have to figure it out yourself or read reviews or watch videos to assist installation. Not a big deal for most people.

The technician answering the telephone was very pleasant. He gave me a choice of times. The initial time was later that same day I called! Another time was given in the event that the technician was unable to make the timeframe I first chose. The technician then later called to ask if he could come early!!! YES! He came out, explained thoroughly what the code mean and what he felt the issue was and fixed it immediately. He also explained another issue the code could mean but thought that it was only the fan issue and not a coolant issue. So he fixed it quickly and ensured I knew to call him should the issue reappear. I was very pleased with the honesty and integrity of the men in this company. They chose to do their business in honesty, not overcharging for service not necessary. Because I am an older woman, many companies seem to try to take advantage and overcharge. NOT THIS COMPANY!!! CALL THEM! I now have a fully functioning refrigerator that has been going strong. The whole cost was less than $100. The technician even gave me information on what to ask for at Home Depot/Lowes to fix the issue of re-hooking up the water line after the water line was moved during a downstairs complete remodel.
