Don't really know what store my mattress came from I ordered it online somewhere in Maryland , can't find where you can just review the delivery service offered, just wanted to let everybody know that the delivery service is horrible they call it white glove two men came in my house I asked them to put booties on they took their dirty shoes off and walked around on my wood floors in sweaty socks which left footprints on my wood floors, then they proceeded to put one of the mattresses up against my white drapes and they got dirty and broke hardware .The whole time they were here all they did was laugh I think it's disgusting to have somebody walk with smelly dirty feet in their socks on my carpet in my bedroom to say the least it was absolutely disgusting!!! customer service was only interested in pictures of drapes and the footprints seriously? I already washed and floors , the expensive drapes were already in the cleaners , she didn't even say they were sorry and if that wasn't enough the two or three hour window is a joke 45 minutes before the delivery hour started I was in the shower they texted me we will be there in 11 minutes you have to be kidding me!!!! had money ready to tip them which they did not get they just didn't seem to care I don't appreciate that read more

My husband and I bought two mattresses from this store. We exchanged both of them. The one mattress is ok but the other one causes me to have back pain. It was very expensive and I have no option to return it. I feel like there was not a lot of help in directing us to a usable mattress. Very disappointed. read more

Went into this location on a Sunday afternoon to browse. Left after an hour and a half having bought a mattress. Called the next morning to cancel the sale because we re-thought it and decided we were not ready to spend that much money (over 2K) on a mattress. The sales person seemed nice about it and said no problem. The next day the check I wrote to them cleared my bank. Now I'm told it will take at least 2 week to get my money back. Plus the sales person was very curt with me when asking about my money and told me there was nothing she could do it is a corporate matter now and hung up on me. read more

We found a mattress for about the same price as most other stores. Unfortunately the sales person was far less then honest with us. He got the purchase, and that's all he cared about. First he assured us it would be next day delivery. After we paid for the mattress he said they were booked until the following week. Then he told us free removal. Upon delivery we were told they weren't told to pick up. Then we called the store and they told us that they have the customer pay for removal then they reimburse us. Never were we told that. The main reason we purchased through Mattress Warehouse was they included a king size frame with wheels so it would be easier to clean under the bed because our dog is under there a lot. We received a frame with no wheels. When we called again they said that was an upgrade frame too but it just doesn't have wheels. It was just one lie after another. Would not recommend purchasing a mattress from The Mattress Warehouse store to anyone! My wife and I spent a great length of time researching a new mattress for our home. We used Consumer Reports as a resource, and felt satisfied in the reviews we read about the Serta iComfort Series. The sales representative at the Mattress Warehouse, appeared sincere in her understanding of our decision making, even going at great length in providing us a deal on the mattress--which included a new bed frame and mattress cover protectant. We were told that we could return the mattress if not satisfied for either a FULL REFUND within 30 days of purchase or AN EXCHANGE for another mattress of equal or greater value within 4 months. Great deal right? Wrong. In less then 6 days both my wife and I agreed that the mattress itself was firm in comfort, but never thought that the memory foam would cause either of us to feel over heated during the night; causing us to not get a restful sleep. Turns out the memory foam retains heat despite this model advertised as a "hybrid", using a standard coil system and lesser memory foam than the full memory foam beds out there, in order to provide a "cooler" sleeping experience. Not a problem, I thought. We will just speak to the nice lady that sold us the mattress and get our money back or exchange the mattress as originally offered. We go into the store one week later and speak to a different sales associate about our situation. He tells us " he does not think you can get a refund; we only offer an exchange for the product." He even admitted that he "didn't even work here regularly; your sales associate is at another location this week, so I don't know when she'll be back in. I'm just filling in for a couple of days." Frustrated and confused, but still willing to work with the store, we left our phone number and names for our "nice" sales associate, to call us back when she returns. She never did. My wife went back another week later on her day off our sales associate was still missing in action. A different salesmen this time took our information again and stated "he would talk to our original sales associate and or the regional manager and have them call you in the next 24-48 hours." No call. I finally stopped going into the store and called the store directly, asking for the number I could reach the original associate who sold the mattress to us. I was given another store location number and tracked her down. She answered saying "I just left you a message on your wife's phone yesterday before the end of the day; didn't you get the voice mail?" No, because she never did, and there is no record of a missed call. The sales associate goes on to say "I spoke to my regional manager and he told me that you can't get a refund on your purchase. This was news to me too, I didn't know that, but you can do the comfort exchange of the mattress for another product at our store if you'd like." At this point with all the run around and lies told to my wife and I, we had no desire to do further business with this store. I have now called the regional manager and customer service manager for the Mattress Warehouse and left voice mail messages unanswered to me for 2 business days. I have specifically stated that "no where on my receipt does it indicate NO REFUND. And there is no documentation referencing an EXCHANGE offer. It's unacceptable for a place of business to have sales people sell a product misinforming customers of a guaranteed refund, "if returned within 30 days," and not uphold that guarantee! Rather, the Mattress Warehouse resorts to having their sales associate report to an unsatisfied customer that "we were misinformed too when we sold you the mattress. Sorry." Sorry is not acceptable! I've worked retail in my past life, and I tell you... NEVER has the customer not come first. NEVER would I risk a reputation of a company or store front by selling a product to a customer and misinforming them of our policy just to make a sale. The role of a sales associate is to meet the customers needs before, during and after a sale. THAT is how you retain a good business reputation! In return, a business that commits to customer satisfaction benefits from those efforts---through repeat customer sales and recommendations to your business by those repeat customers to their friends, family, and associates. The Mattress Warehouse is not worth visiting! Take your business elsewhere if you desire reliable, friendly, and honest service. read more

We live in Lebanon where Cici used to manage the store there, we first talked with her about our bed needs. The next time we were in that location there was someone else there, who we did not like. Not a very professional individual. We actually found out what store Cici was in and drove the entire way to Lancaster to work with her! She's the best! My husband and I were mattress shopping for a couple weeks and getting pretty tired of the "used car" sales approach we were getting everywhere. We figured out exactly what we wanted and decided to buy from Sears online. What a nightmare! Sears went above and beyond to cheat and lie to us. It got so bad at one point I was trying to contact the CEO to tell him why they are struggling. Frustrated we went to one more store. Mattress Warehouse! That's when our faith in retail was restored. CC heard our story and went out of her way to make sure we got what we wanted at a good price and that what she was telling us was the truth! Delivery was on time and the guys were respectful and careful and quick. They had everything set up in no time. If you need a new bed, you have to go see CC. Great place! I went to many different places and was dissatisfied with the customer service. When I came across this store, I was greeted by Ben. His customer service made me feel comfortable and I never felt forced into making a decision. I bought a bed frame that was also available at the previous stores I visited. This is THE WORST place to purchase a mattress. DO NOT BUY ONE FROM HERE! Go to Sleepy's or somewhere else.The customer service is awful and unreliable not to mention dishonest. It is well worth your money to look for a more trust worthy company that will actually sell you what they promise. I am a college student who recently moved into the area to finish my last year. I was looking for a new bed to buy for this year and to use once I move back home (i live out of state). I went into Mattress Warehouse and was helped by one of the three employees. I looked at the Simmons Beauty Rest Recharge, at least that's what I think it is. The receipt I was given only has coded information instead of the name of the product ( Ridiculous, i know. ) However I didn't want to buy it immediately but rather check prices, so i halfheartedly put a down payment on it ( i honestly felt pressured to). I went back because the price wasn't that bad ( or so i thought at the time- I honestly don't know anything about mattresses). Worst decision of my life. I went back to check on the mattress with a friend. This time the manager showed me two models: the one I looked at before and another firmer version which was $100 more. I was conflicted about the two since the firmer one felt better but I couldn't make up my mind. The manager told me that he would give me the firmer one WITHOUT additional charge and if I didn't like it he could help me change it. Of course I opted with the firmer one, since the manager insisted that if it wasn't comfortable I could easily put a pad on it. He told me he would change my order and send me the firmer one, so I believed him. My bed arrived on September 17th and it was fine the first night (i had placed the order for the mattress and had gone on vacation). When I came back from vacation I had missed the delivery date by an hour and had to reschedule. During vacation I caught a bad cold and had not slept well, so when the mattress came I slept on it fine. However after the next couple of nights my neck, lower back, and shoulders hurt a ton. The bed which was supposed support my lower back and shoulders didn't because it was too soft- I wonder why. I tried calling the store to talk to the manger but he wasn't around. It was only after a couple days that I was able to finally get a hold of him. Wanting to make sure I talked directly with the manager, I went in person to the store. When I got there the manager pulled up my order and showed me the bed model I had. I was confusing since I told him (and my friend can testify) that I wanted the firmer one that he promised. I mentioned the conversation with him about the firmer mattress and he flat out denied that he had ever had the conversation with me. He told me that "he has been in the business for twenty plus years and would never give anyway a product without charging." He lied straight to my face to make a sale, didn't change the order, and now denies ever having the conversation! When he noticed I was shocked and angry at his denial, he tried to smooth things over by saying he'd contact the Simmons rep and see what he could do. After talking with different employees and the manager on SIX different occasions over the span of a week, i finally hear today that nothing can really be done to replace my mattress and that if I want a replacement for the bed, i have to pay an additional $200, plus a delivery fee all to replace a bed that I wasn't even supposed to get in the first place! Do not buy from this company! The management is dishonest, the customer service is horrendous (six phone calls that I all initiated with NO follow up AT ALL on their part), and the prices are outrageous for the way you get treated! Do yourself a favor, learn from my huge mistake, and go elsewhere!! read more

We went to the new Mattress Warehouse that just opened labor day. The one located near Costco off rt 30. The showroom was so cool all glass windows and 50 or more beds to try out. This was the first place we went but knew we needed to get a new mattress. Cici was the only one working there when we walked in she greeted us and told us she would be with us, she was extrememly busy, just made a sale and there was a family there looking. Even though one of our electronical equipment was working, computer, fax,only had her cell phone, with the new opening of the store those things weren't totally up and running smoothly. She kept coming back checking on us. They were running a great sale with box springs and free delivery. We did end up getting a mattress that felt awesome, Simmons Beautyrest and we also got cooling countoured pillows. Delivery is supposed to be this Saturday. But just wanted to give kudos to Cici because she was running around with her butt on fire and made three sales while we were there. read more

Writing this review on behalf of my mother. Please DO NOT make a purchase from Mattress Wharehouse if you think you may change your mind about your purchase. The reason is because you may not get your money back. My mother purchased a mattress from them a month ago. The day before the delivery she called and cancelled the order and asked for a refund because she changed her mind. She was then told that it will take up to 3 weeks to get a refund. It is a month and she is still waiting. The main office says that they mailed her a refund 10 days ago but she still is yet to recieve this. She has visited the store 3 times talking to different people everytime who promise her they are going to call the main office. She has called the main office and you can not talk to anyone. You must leave a messagel. Then when they call you back they are not only rude but claim they can not do anything to help her. No one seems to know what they are doing. She has suggested that they cancel the refund check she never received and issue her a new one but they refuse. read more
