I met with Abbie and she was soo unbelievably kind, helpful and patient with me. She spent so much time reviewing options and pointed out that there were natural stones that were at a similar price point. (At the end of our meeting, she said "I know you're going to get a natural stone!") She gave me some stone yards to go look and she was right - I fell in love with a stone and it is my favorite part of my entire remodel. I can seriously look at it for hours. Once I picked the stone, Amanda scheduled an appointment to determine the layout of the slabs. She knocked it out of the park! I can't believe how beautifully they fit together. She also said I had quite a bit of stone left and suggested that I use it on another vanity. So glad she did because I love my stone and it made the prefab vanity look way better! When the cabinets were in, Chad came to do the measurements to begin fabrication. They stick to their schedules and I appreciate it so much! Install went great and I am so happy with the final product. Key Points: 1.) Great people that you are happy to give your business to. 2.) Transparent pricing. It was also lower than the other quotes I got. 3.) BLG also had a great selection of remnants at a great price. I got a beautiful marble for my primary bath that I also love! They had so many options! 4.) Their communication is prompt and top notch. 5.) Their ability to determine lay-outs, book match and deliver! 6.) What makes this place special is that the entire team at BLG is great. Seriously, all of them. We went from granite to quartz…read more I wanted to keep my existing marble backsplash but several companies told me that damaging the existing backsplash was inevitable. JL assured me that their experienced installers could remove my granite without any damage to my backsplash. But not only that, their price was the best of all four well known Austin companies. In fact, since I was getting Taj Reale from Stratus I saw that several companies marked up the price for the same slab that they all were getting from the same slab yard. In short, JL Cabinets did a fantastic job. The price was great and the demo and installation were top notch. I highly recommend Keyla and all the crew at JL. A wood countertop…read more But sometimes you find an element or part of a remodel you want to be special, and this for us was the top on our remodeled bar (part of the kitchen). We set out looking for options, considering steel and stone and kept coming back to a butcher block top. But not just any top, we wanted something nice. Enter DeVos. My wife and I rifled through their website and a few others about town. DeVos seemed the most complete, so we called. The owner was courteous and knowledgeable in the art of woodworking and he kept encouraging us to visit. We had our minds made up, or so we thought, and he thought we should get a true read on the woods and colors and patterns. At the showroom, the DeVos clan let our two-year-old twins explore and touch all the wood samples. They showed us the works in progress in the finishing shop and you could tell it was just the tip of the iceberg for this company. I saw several other buildings on his property, presumably for construction of the tops and storage of all the wood types (they have a ton). We went with Texas Pecan with a softened edge on edge gran construction. It looks marvelous and has been commented on several times now. Oh, I almost forgot. When we ordered the piece we had our dimensions switched. So it was off by a half inch on each side and not exactly perfect for the space (our walls are not true). DeVos suggested we make a template and bring it back. So we did and upon picking it back up, we learned there was no charge. It was our fault, but they are a very stand-up group with a deep level of understanding. We're happy to have a natural native finish in our home and recommend the DeVos group to anyone looking for a countertop.

I'll list my experience below: -padded extra $400 onto quote for sink cut out and new sink which was not discussed during quote process. Luckily I saw that and purchased my own sink (also, they could've used the original sink too, so why add $200 without consulting with the client?) -added extra $40 onto granite removal charge. Quoted me $5/sq ft for removal. -cracked my backsplash and only offered $50 refund, and claimed "they're not responsible for damage" ...what?! -counter top came with scratches and scuff marks which they claim wasn't from them. It was installed in a new home where no one was living, and I saw it the day it was installed. Was definitely them -caused a leak when they removed sink, did not alert me to the severity of leak nor make any attempt to resolve it, which resulted in water piling up in my cabinet for a full day and ruined the bottom cabinets. -did not caulk countertop, so unnecessary open spaces between wall and countertop -damaged brand new cabinetry, also denied that. Sent pictures for undeniable evidence. This company is sloppy and they do not take responsibility for their shoddy work. I cannot recommend this company to anyone considering countertop replacement.

Originally we had the plan to update the kitchen during the pandemic, Amy came to my house to have everything measured, use 3D software generate the 3D model, made sure everything aligned what we wanted. We didn't pull the trigger due to many factors. The year after, we called Amy again. She came to the house, did the measurement, did the 3D model. We backed out again. This year, we called Amy again. She didn't say anything. Came over again, did the 3D model. We paid the deposit. Finally we started the project. During this process, Amy shows her patience, professionalism and attention to the details. Once the demolition and installation started, everything was organized in such a nice, efficient, and less disturbing way. The demolition was done in a day, and every trash was picked. Amy's husband, Victor, came to the house, with his experience and knowledge, discussed every details I need to think through - We removed two parts of the kitchen area so it brought some variations. He provided the options, respected my choice, and of course, with his knowledge about house remodeling trend, to make sure I have well-educated information. With his experience and knowledge, it increase my kitchen countertop's functionality and usage area. I can't thank him enough for that. U Granites & Cabinets are high quality. If you are not familiar with that market, you will get lost - just like me walking into Home Depot to look at those prebuilt countertop and vanity. I like the cabinet's materials, how it built (those features I probably didn't really think about before). I started with the kitchen cabinets and countertops, extended to the bathroom's vanities . I am very happy about the decision, and much more appreciative what Amy, Victor and other staffs at U Granites & Cabinets More has provided. Victor did a huge favor to me by doing all kind of other jobs along the kitchen remodeling. I hired a general contractor who quoted me $14K for all demolition (kitchen and tiles) only. My total cost with U granite (Kitchen countertop, cabinets and demolition) is less than that number. He opened a new brush that did not belong to him that was in my garage to complete the job without asking! He did reimburse me for the brush after I called him out about it and then blocked me after he said he'd come and fix the outlet. I will have to spend more money to get my outlets replaced, and have the job completed correctly. The value of his work is horrible and I will come out of pocket to get it repaired. Russell went out of his way to accommodate my time schedule and arrived early to check the system out so I could run up to Austin for a medical appointment. The softener was running correctly but the taste was still off. He recommended a whole house carbon filter as a solution. He explained the water company is probably adding more chlorine because it is a community well, which does leak and break often. I'm completely confident this will solve the taste issue. Not only was Russell prompt, but also courteous and highly professional, just as he was 6 years ago. On top of all this, this solution was very reasonably priced. I would recommend Lone Star Water Services to anyone looking for an improvement to their water quality at home. I honestly can't say enough great things about this company and Russell, and their forthright and thoughtful approach towards their customers and their water issues.

I finished a bathroom remodel with Koren and Daniel in March 2025. The process of getting there was painful in terms of communication and steering, but at least the shiny new bathroom they initially delivered was not bad. However, in September 2025 the shower tiles started popping out of the floor. I texted them and they had to come in and replace it. Okay maybe it was a one-off. But then less than a year later, by April 2026 the *replaced* tiles started popping out again. I tried dealing with it myself with tile glue, but other tiles kept popping out. I texted them again in August, and this time they said that they stand behind their work for only one year from the original project date, and I need to pay $1200 if I want them to fix it. Notice that it hasn't been 1 year even from the replacement date. It's really not worth it. Go with the slightly more expensive contractor they will do the job right once and for all.

Koren was super pleasant to work with all around. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. We had requested a bid on two main projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were shocked by how much of the "bonus" projects we could fit in, and yet felt very confident with Koren's insights that these were realistically within our budget. The formal quote came in REALLY fast after our meeting, and was very easy to follow and extremely fairly priced. Was very impressed with how quickly they were ready to begin the work, and the forethought of asking us if we planned to "live-in" during the remodel vs. get an AirBNB or the like. We hadn't even thought of that. Would have been very confident in moving forward with ATX Remodeling. Especially as Koren had so many examples of the type of elaborate communication and oversight we would have at every stage of the process.
