Not sure what they're thinking, but I was quoted a hefty fee to fix a backflow problem. Out of curiosity I talked to another guy who quoted me less than HALF the Aaron Plumbing quote! I confronted the owner's son, and he just said that's what they charge. So now they're butthurt and trying to get me to pay a 'deposit fee' for work they never did. Already paid them for the test! Ridiculous--warrants mentioning that even if I pay the fee, I'm still overall better off than if I went with them initially! Amazing way to do business. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! He came out and did the work, did not check everything to ensure it was working properly and within days it was backing up again. He said he would have to charge me again. I paid almost $450! That's outrageous! He did not do a thorough job the first time, it is his fault not mine. Find a better company to spend your hard earned dollars. **Update: the owners son called me and said he spoke to his manager and would offer me $50 off. That's laughable! I declined. My mom's garbage disposal needed replacing. They came out timely but treated my mom very rudely. The first disposal they brought did not work. Had a small water heater fail on Sunday. Called Aaron plumbing and they advised they could be out the next day between 1 and 3 PM. They called about Noon and were on scene by 12:30 PM Austin was the main plumber, with Dan being his assistant. He checked everything out, gave me a reasonable price, and asked if they could complete the next day. I said the next day was fine, but we were without hot water in the kitchen, so they decided they would fit it in then. Cramped access to the water heater as it's in a very small closet like space. Took 7 hours because of access, but they didn't quit and even didn't want to quit. They wanted to make sure everything was good and I was happy before they left. Was very pleased with their service and care. Will definitely use again if I have a plumbing problem. read more

I was charged $500 for the replacement of a shower valve cartridge because I was not getting hot water. With the new cartridge I still did not have hot water. I was told I needed a whole new shower valve. They first quoted me over $1400 for a new valve but then lowered their quote to $1265 with a senior discount. Still quite high for about 2 hours of work. I gave them the o.k. to proceed so they could order the new valve. About a week later, another person showed up to install the valve. He was not very organized and professional. He even asked me for a flashlight, torch igniter and socket wrenches. These are tools I would think every plumber would have. Then, after he finished sodering, the 2 X 4's in the wall began to smoke and would not stop. They were badly charred from his torch so he began dousing them with water. I asked him not to put too much water behind the wall because this could lead to wall damage and mold. He then asked if I had a fire extinguisher and I told him I did, so he discharged it behind the wall to make sure any hot spot would be extinguished. The smoke continued to pour out. We finally called the fire department who came out and inspected the attic with a thermo probe and assured us the source of the smoke was out. Quite an ordeal! Beware of Aaron Plumbing! read more

I called Aaron plumbing because I had a supply line from behind my Camode and to my tank on the Camode was leaking, he told me it would be $326.00 per hour and that it would take two hours at least to replace the line and the line was about $10.00, I went to Ace hardware and purchased the line for $10.00, went home and replaced the line myself, it took me 5 minutes. I am a woman and feel like that fool was gouging me because I am a woman. I would never recommend Aaron plumbing for anything!! Beware of this company, they will cheat you!! read more
