They also texted an introduction to the technician who came out to do the work so that I would know whom to expect, along with a picture of him. The work was professionally completed. After an accident, my garage door was bent and the rotors were out of the rails, cable snapped, plus other problems. I called for an estimate on a new door and Taylor came over. He fixed the door (no charge) to the extent that I could open and close it manually. All I can say is that he was at the top of his game. I sent a message pretty late one night and I got a response within minutes!! Ryan walked me through the process and I was on their calendar the next business day. He diagnosed the problem I was having and suggested I start with a tune-up which was VERY reasonably priced. He also suggested some things be considered for the future to keep a steady working garage and to upgrade from the builder version of my current garage door opener. The tune up Ryan performed gave me AMAZING results which yielded a much quieter garage opening and far less vibration. This company and its people are personable and professional. I called Aaron's this week to see about having our garage doors repaired. They were so noisy you could hear them open all over the neighborhood. A previous place quoted us a price to repair them, but we weren't too happy with it. Then, Ryan at Aaron's mentioned that for just a little more, we could have all new doors installed. We went with that option and are thrilled with the result. The doors are much quieter, they look great and the cost was very reasonable. Also, the doors were in stock, so they were installed the next day while I was at work. The customer service and the quality of work we received was excellent. After that he scheduled Tom to come by the next day. Tom called in advance of his arrival and he was right on time. Tom found a quick solution and fixed the binding track instantly. I went online to request for a quote to fix the broken spring on my garage. I couldn't believe that Ryan called me in less than 2 minutes after I sent that request. Super company! They tried to tell me how to fix the problem over the phone rather than sending someone out but I'm an idiot so I couldn't figure out what to do. Everything was done exactly as promised - on time and very professional. Cody was the techinician dispatched to do the work. He was extremely courteous and certainly knew what he was doing. He handled the job very quickly and afterwards explained to me everything he had done and why it was done (such as balancing the door and maintaining tension on the cables). Five stars ....as good as it gets! I found Aarons Garage doors online from Yelp. I decided to give them a chance to bid as they had five stars. I had three other bids, One from Costco who used a local vendor, One from Home Depot and the third from a company I used before. I chose this company as Ryan asked me questions over the phone which the other companies who had sent reps out did not even consider, such as what room is over the garage, insulation, etc. He came the same day to check out the garage. His bid was very competitive and he arrived on time. His technician too came on time, cleaned up after himself and helped me empty the garage of ladders etc. But the most important thing was that the job was complicated as it is a basement garage and their was an air conditioning vent in the way and he did it! I highly recommend this company for their attention to detail, professionalism, good work ethic, sense of fairness...this is how a business should run. I called Ryan on a Tuesday afternoon when a spring broke on my garage door. He asked a couple questions and provided a quote. By noon the next day the repair was completed as quoted. His quote was in range of the research I did. In addition to replacing the springs he inspected other pieces of the door and frame, lubricated all of the rollers and moving parts, tightened all nuts. I called and left a message on their answering service and got a call back right away. Scheduled a free estimate for two days later. Their Customer Service Sales Manager came out with a prior call of arrival time. Came as scheduled and very courteous. My door was busted, I knew I needed to replace door but salesman did not offer me options, only the most expensive double steel insulated door and said they do not put any other door and no other options available. On top of that he said I needed to replace the perfectly good tracking system I have in place and said it needed to be replaced. He was overselling on my options to get back his most return (his words) and sell me stuff I didn't need. He quoted me $2200 doors with only a three year warranty. It was like he didn't want our business. I did not go with this company. I went with another company off on HomeAdvisor.com and got a same day quote for $673 for exactly what I NEEDED; new door panels installed with a five year warranty. read more
