Quick reliable service call for repairs or garage door installation. Since we needed a new door and opener, we ended up selecting another company due to a longer warranty period. read more

Very mixed experience with freedom overhead doors. We set up a date and they came out as planned and did a good job of installing the door. Later I went out and wanted to close the door behind me using the control pad and it didn't work. I messaged him about it and apparently he forgot and said you didn't even think to look if we had a keypad. Instead of offering to come back out and put it in which would have been about a 15 minute job, he just sent me a link to amazon. So it's easy enough to do it. I'll end up doing that but because I don't live there full time, it end up being a giant pain in the neck for me. read more

Responded within minutes. Visited same day. Work was through and explained in advance. Price quoted was met, and was very competitive, based on work we have had done, previously from other companies . I would highly recommend Freedom Overhead Door to friends and family! The service, quality, and value exceeded ALL expectations! read more

Had a broken spring and called Spencer. He found the door was also off the rails a little because a pulley wheel was busted, I didn't even notice that. He then saw some tune up stuff with the other door. Gives me confidence in my 25 year old doors. We also talked about upgrades which I'm doing next year since the garage doors are a prominent feature of this 1997 home. Thanks Spencer! read more

Checked the garage door and the controller- fixed it quickly and efficiently. He texted when he was on the way, showed up on time. Very helpful and informative. Reasonable price. No upselling or pressure at all. Very honest and ethical. Highly recommend! read more

Spencer was quick, honest and a great guy. Will recommend to all my friends and neighbors.

Fast response. They tried to repair garage door opener but could not, so I opted to have it replaced. Everything works perfectly.

I called Spencer with a garage door problem. He talked me through the problem and miraculously the door was fixed! He didn't have to do it. He could have come out and charged me. But he was a gentleman and a professional. I am a Veteran and am always looking for people who help. He earned 5 stars and I will recommend him whenever I can! read more

Great service and reasonably priced. Freedom replaced my opener 5 years ago and it has been working great. Just recently my spring wore out and Freedom had it repaired in under 24 hours. Both services were reasonably priced. read more

Superior service, quality and professionalism. Spencer was so helpful in providing us with just the right options for our garage doors. He found a perfect color for our home, and fully explained the process and set our expectations for the day of installation. On the day of installation he was prompt, courteous and gave us constant insight into how the progress was going. After removing our very old doors, he found some items not to code, and fixed them for us without any additional charge. I highly recommend Spencer and freedom overhead. read more

Spencer came through in a bind and fit us in for a last minute (weekend) spring replacement of our garage door. We called around to several companies and others were either unresponsive or overpriced. Based on our research, Freedom was fairly priced. Spencer advised he'd arrive between 9-11 am and he texted at 10 am saying he was on his way. He arrived on time and was done in less than 30 minutes. He charged what he quoted & didn't attempt to upsell. They have my garage door business going forward. 100% recommend. read more

Called about a garage door repair quote and he was kind enough to drop by for a quote the same day. I was expecting a bit of an up-sell because that's what I've been getting from other companies, but he was very straightforward and clear about everything. He gave me options that fit what I was looking for as well as more costly options that I could keep in mind for later. He explained how and when the benefits of the more expensive repair would affect me and let me make an informed decision rather than pressuring me to make a more expensive one. It seemed like he made time for me in between jobs, so it was a pleasant surprise when he was willing to complete everything on the spot. Overall, from initial call to completing the repair took just under 2 hours and most of it was spent commuting back home through Atlanta traffic. This was incredibly quick service as well as a very fair price! I'll be sure to go with him next time. read more

Spencer was great to work with. Clear communication, very competitive pricing and fast turn around on my project. He was meticulous in his work and was all about doing it "right", not just what would get him done the fastest. I really appreciated that. He even accepted electronic payment methods rather than old school checks, cash or credit card. I am planning two more projects and definitely will use him again. Well done. read more

Requested a quote through Yelp and Spencer responded almost immediately. His pricing was about the same as the other quotes I received. Decided to use him because of the other reviews and his willingness to attempt to work within my constraints. Once here, he knew what he was doing. He was professional and finished quickly. I will definitely be suggesting him to friends and neighbors if need if a garage repair. read more

Spencer was awesome! Handle our garage repair within 24hrs. Would definitely recommend.

We contacted Freedom about a busted overhead spring and they were very responsive and provided a quote over yelp approximating the repair. Scheduling was incredibly easy and Spencer was flexible with a few date/options to come out to our house. He was very straightforward and easy to deal with. We had to jump my car and he was kind enough to wait while we fiddled with the cars and got everything out of the way for him. Will definitely recommend and use in the future should the other spring need replacement. read more

GREAT COMPANY! Spencer is a pleasure to work with! He gets you scheduled conveniently and shows up promptly as promised. Spencer is very knowledgeable and is able to service multiple doors and repair the opener electronics in my 15 year old legacy system. He is happy to make return visits at no cost to make certain everything is functioning properly. Spencer is willing to negotiate pricing when multiple door servicing is needed. My only complaint is oil drips running down the door panels below hinges he lubricates. Otherwise, I highly recommend this company. read more

Freedom Overhead Doors is a great choice for garage door installation and repairs. I needed two garage door motors installed on a new house. I wish I could give Spencer more than 5 stars!!! What an exceptional, honest and hardworking professional he is!!! We had a problem with our garage door and had another individually run garage door repairman "repair" it no more than 6 months ago. The repair didn't last so we called a big name garage company and they came out quoting us an astronomical price to replace not only the garage door, but railings, springs and opener ALL of which were still functioning. I started looking at the yelp reviews and decided to call Spencer at Freedom Overhead Doors. He came out in less than 24 hrs, assessed the problem and repaired it in less than 1 1/2 hrs AND at an incredibly fair price!!! My garage door looks and functions like a brand new door!!! My husband and I really appreciate the outstanding workmanship that Spencer performed on our garage door! He is definitely a master of his trade!!! read more

My garage door wouldn't close and I realized one of the safety sensors wasn't connected for some unknown reason. Spencer came out and took care of it pretty quickly. The job was done right the first time, he checked that everything else was working properly, and price was fair. I hope I don't have any other garage door problems, but I'll definitely call Freedom if there is a next time. read more

We had a problem with the springs on one of our 20 year old garage doors. After texting Freedom Overhead Doors, Spencer, (the owner), answered within a few minutes. I will be using his services the next time one of our garage doors needs attention. read more

After a rough Monday at work, coming home to see lift cables hanging around your garage door, was not the way I'd prefer to start the week. Even more so to learn that your Torquemaster Plus Wayne Dalton (all info. I quickly found out when assessing the issue) spring setup is not only complicated to repair, it's also much more expensive than a torsion spring setup. Spencer from Freedom is professional, responsive, and took care of the problem very quickly. And I appreciated his straight forward approach to conducting business. He converted to a torsion setup and did so in a very professional and relaxed fashion. His pricing is better than other vendors, by a lot in a few cases. And knocked the job out quickly. read more
