Update (12/19/24): After I posted my review, Glenn from Balanced Garage Doors contacted me about fixing the job. He sent out Spencer, who did a great job addressing my concerns. Spencer adjusted the garage door jamb to align it with the siding, cleaned up the caulking, and made a minor adjustment to how one of the doors was hung. I am happy with how the company quickly improved its work. Original review (12/16/24): I hired Balanced Garage Doors to replace two old wooden garage doors. The price of the job and the quality of the doors are decent. However, the quality of the work leaves something to be desired. Our installer left a decent mess after the work was completed, including glass shards from the old garage door windows. I also found one of the siding panels out of place. The installer came to fix the siding today. Regardless, the quality of work seems poor, considering I paid $3600 for the job. read more

Very fast and efficient service! We called Monday morning to get someone to come out and give us a quote for a spring repair. They said someone could be out between 10 am and 12 pm. Spencer showed up at 930am. He was very professional and gave us multiple repair options. Our garage door was very outdated and needed to be completely replaced, but he never once tried to push a new door on us. Once I asked about a new door he was willing to work the current repair into a down payment option for a new door. We were told a new door might take a week to arrive, but they were here the next morning at 9:30 am to install it. Damian was the install tech. He was also professional, fast & efficient. One of our springs broke and I wanted to get it replace right away. I used yelp to get some estimates from a few companies in our area. Balanced Garage Doors replied right away and had a time window open the same day. Their technician came out on time and looked at the issue. He inspected the door, track, wheels, opener, and looked at the age of the door. He made recommendations based on what he observed that we just needed to replace the springs. Marietta, GA I called Balanced Garage Doors because I could not open the garage door. Tyler (from Balanced Garage Doors) was scheduled to come to my home. I was updated on his arrival through messages on my phone. He arrived a bit early (always a good thing, IMO) As it turned out, I had caused the failure of the door by moving a grey bar on the wall. I did not realize it locked or unlocked the door. Tyler quickly put it right and showed me where it should be to have the door unlocked. BTW, he was extremely helpful and did not make me feel bad about it. He was consistently pleasant and positive. Tyler was very professional and polite. He was nicely dressed and very pleasant.
