Speedy service and fair price from Michael who replaced my 22 year old problematic Chamberlain chain drive opener with a new smoother and quieter Chamberlain belt-driven unit with a lifetime warranty. I like that the door now slows down near the end of the close and just gently touches the concrete. The other (not as old) chain drive opener in our 2-car garage closes pretty hard, but he re-programmed it for best results and also changed the springs on that unit, which were starting to wear. I also liked that he wasn't part of a big company with a corporate mindset. He was willing to work weekends and solved my issues on a Sunday, a few hours after he showed up. The remote with the new unit has buttons to open two other doors if needed, and he programmed it to open my wife's adjacent door which I couldn't do in the past from my remote. Well, after a couple days angst concerning our garage door which had come off its track, we obtained 4 quotes, The first 3 wanted $700-800 for a repair but were very strongly pushing us to completely replace the door ($3,500-$5,000). In addition to that expense, we would have had to add the painted wooden detail and ironwork to re-conform to our HOA's standards. The 4th company, Gray Wolf, quoted $350 right from the beginning, and even as I pointed out all the damage that we had discovered during the three other quotes, they stayed ar $350. They even threw in a new rubber seal for the bottom of the door for $40. Another company had quoted $270 for this piece. The technician, Eric, was educational, friendly and conscientious.
