I sent a request to Liberty after realizing I couldn't open the door manually by myself with the broken spring (it's a very heavy door). They responded first thing in the morning and had someone here in the afternoon. Very responsive, quick service, and knowledgeable tech. It may have been a tad pricey, but i really have no complaints since they took care of it so fast. George was great, and got us back up and running in less than an hour. Spencer adjusted the garage door jamb to align it with the siding, cleaned up the caulking, and made a minor adjustment to how one of the doors was hung. I am happy with how the company quickly improved its work. Original review (12/16/24): I hired Balanced Garage Doors to replace two old wooden garage doors. The price of the job and the quality of the doors are decent. However, the quality of the work leaves something to be desired. Our installer left a decent mess after the work was completed, including glass shards from the old garage door windows. I also found one of the siding panels out of place. The installer came to fix the siding today. Regardless, the quality of work seems poor, considering I paid $3600 for the job.

Other than the spring repair, they discussed other "wear 'n tear" hardware that should be replaced, and also gave estimates on full door replacements (wasn't interested at this time). So I researched companies & went with Overhead Door due to the # of yrs in business & # of current reviews. I set up an appt online for the next morning. Ryan arrived a couple minutes early. I asked what he would do & from his experience he recommended replacing both & another part that was obviously original which made it 30 yrs old. So he explained everything he would do, answered all my questions professionally & worked quickly to accomplish the task. Ryan was very kind, patient & professional. I will definitely use this company again! Much thanks, Ryan!

I searched on Yelp for a company with good reviews and CSS popped up. They were swift in their response and came out the same day. They were able to not only educate me on the broken coil, but showed me the work they performed. Service was relatively quick. I came out my pocket a couple of hundred for a new spring/coil...and their labor, etc. My house is 10 years old and I know my garage door isn't super high end and this is the first work I had to have done on it so I found the price to be reasonable.
