At this place however, Jason took about 15 minutes for the undercut alone, he put a lot of effort into it. I also got my hair coloured and they discussed in much detail with me what colour would receive which result. The place is super new and it's a very open and modern atmosphere and I really liked it. However you should be prepared to pay more than at other places, my haircut (cut, colour, style for short hair) was about $160 plus tip. That being said, you definitely get what you pay for.

This location is tucked away in a small plaza, could be hard to find at first. The salon is clean and up to speck, friendly staff and affordable service!! The hairdresser educated me on how I can take care my hair for longer lasting results and even outlined what kind of hair products to use on me..I have paid as much as 300$ for getting my hair dyed but this place can get it done for a fraction of the price. I was able to use my Visa credit card (they also take Mastercard) to pay. If you do pay the deposit, $20 is deducted from your total. The hair washing station is really relaxing, with lie-flat chairs so your neck doesn't hurt and sparkling lights on the ceiling. I'm so happy with my cut ($80 CAD before tip) and I think I got a great value for the level of service. I highly recommend Sam and this salon, his technique was so meticulous and I love my cut.

Some hairdressers may want to get you in and out of the chair as soon as possible, but he really takes the time to make sure that you get a good haircut. Several times he will look from multiple angles, press my shoulders down evenly to make sure things are symmetrical, and then make little adjustments here and there. He is also chatty if you feel like talking, and otherwise more reticent if he senses that you want to keep to yourself. I always forget to bring cash, but if you pay cash and not credit card, you get a discount!
