He is able to touch up a full head of highlight (my hair is long), trim and blow dry my hair in less than an hour!!! That is unbelievable! As a busy working mom, this is very much appreciated. He has since been cutting my husband's hair as well and my hubby is also very satisfied with Nader's service. He has thick wavy hair and is not easy to cut and style but Nader does a fantastic job. Last appt was for 11:30, received a call asking me to come in at 11:45 as he was busy, then got another call saying to come in at 12:00. When I got there I did not get an apology or reason for delay. Last cut (2 weeks ago) is horrible, did not listen to what I wanted and was done in about 15 mins. Will not be going back there anytime soon.

I also gave him the option to use his professional expertise in making the decisions. I was quite pleased with the results and the interesting conversation we had while he was busy working on my hair. They raved about the service and have been looking for a place exactly like this (superior quality of the procedure and extractions)! In the DC area, we've had no luck... Every spa/salon we've tried only performed minor extractions (not worth the price of the facial). My wife also decided to get a haircut while she was waiting for her facial. She told me that she got one of the best haircuts she's ever received! She said William was awesome and now her hair has more volume and the style is better suited to her hair's natural curliness. My brother-in-law and I were so impressed that we both decided to get haircuts as well. Our stylist, Karelia, was A-W-E-S-O-M-E! Started off with a relaxing scalp massage and then got one of THE BEST haircuts in my 38 years of life! I have a stubborn cowlick that she addressed and she even trimmed my caveman eyebrows LOL. Seriously though, now i'm pissed because I have yet to find a place like this in my area. Great positive energy from the owner and all the employees of this establishment. I didn't win the contest, but I fell in love with the vibrant colours they offered, many of which are not offered at other salons. I emailed for an appt, but later called in on my lunch hour and booked an appt. I wanted to donate my hair, cut, and colour. I was given an appt for cut and colour consultation. (They also did email me back later that day! Extra points for having their communication channels available and monitored.) I just went for my cut today, and it was a fantastic experience. The salon is clean and modern. Angela was fun and professional. She measured, tied, cut, and braided for donation. We talked about colour and as I haven't coloured in about 20 years now, she gave some suggestions. Cut was done quickly and very well done. I was in and out within 1hour. Super excited for the colour appt!

My hair broke off in handfuls and she laughed when I expressed concern. When I asked her why she overlapped the already bleached parts, she flat out lied to my face and told me she didn't. Its my fault for not speaking up while she was doing it, but I thought she knew what she was doing. I very much suggest not using Simmy if you have highlighted or bleached hair. Plus sides: the receptionist is lovely, lots of parking available and prices are reasonable if you don't count all the products I've purchased trying to stop more of my hair from breaking off.

I showed her multiple photographs from different angles and said I wanted it to be grazing my shoulders and longer in the front. I got the complete opposite. Not only is it shorter in the front face pieces it's also an inch shorter overall than what I wanted. One side has way more layers than the other because she decided to make up the most crooked part when she was cutting and now it's completely uneven all over. The only reason I am giving more than one star is because the salon itself was nice and it was a pleasant atmosphere. However, the mirrors were angled towards the ceiling and I couldn't even see myself in it so I was getting my hair cut without being able to even see what she was doing. I went home from my hair cut and cried for an hour while trying to style it to my liking with no avail. I can't even look at myself in the mirror because I hate my hair so much.
