Stopped in here while I was staying in the public hotel in New York City. They offer free classes to their hotel guests. This is a very upscale posh gym in the city. They offer both boot camp and cycling classes we attended the cycling class. The cycling class was great it was better than some of the other cycling classes I have been to. The staff was super friendly and the facility was very nice. They have shower rooms, lockers, and a nice waiting/community area with couches. A great place to get your sweat on and I would definitely go back.

So much energy. I love it here and I love the high vibration. AARMY is a new fitness studio started and co-founded by master SoulCycle and Nike instructor, Akin Akman. It's currently at its prelaunch popup stage, offering bootcamp and cycling classes with stretching and lifting classes to come. THE CLASS: So far I have taken his 6:15am Bootcamp Abs and his cycling classes and they're both full of energy with loud music playing in the background, while he gets our minds focused on our higher standards. * Cycling - It's like SoulCycle but better. And the bikes are also more comfortable. There are also points where we get to dance and cheer while cycling as he inspires our minds. * Bootcamp Abs - It's 50 minutes of abs bootcamp and the abs sets are very very unique. The class is a perfect balance of fun, hard work and motivational talks. You do get sore the next day. All you need for this class are 2 sets of weights. THE STUDIO: Very organized and clean. It has 1 bootcamp room, 2 cycling rooms, 3 water dispensers, 2 lounge areas, co-ed lockers, personal changing rooms, and no showers but instead they have Bravo Sierra antibacterial body wipes. There're also hair ties, bobby pins, towels, Lululemon dry shampoo and deodorant sprays, face wash, hand wash, ear plugs, plastic bags for dirty clothing, and candy.

Great spin class, went as a guest. Kicked my butt. Only wish they explained some of the movements so I wasn't lost in class at times

What I really liked about the class was the energy of Akin (and all the coaches) and of everyone taking the class.

Came here for my first Barry's RIDE x Lift class and I'm so glad I did!…read more It's a larger studio as it's one of the few with stationary bike classes. The cycling room is downstairs. Your first shoe rental is free and the staff helped me find the perfect size as well as strap me into the bike pedals. Class was fast paced and had a great playlist. I enjoyed it despite not being a huge cycling fan. I do wish a bit more instruction was provided on cycling form and the different terms used/how to adjust resistance but other than that it was a great experience.

There's a red room for RUN x LIFT on the main fl and a red room for RIDE x LIFT downstairs. Tons of lockers - a good amt downstairs and a ton upstairs + inside the Men/Women lockers. The Women locker room is spacious. I love the OUAI products and have gotten some free samples (OUAI, Kiehl's, etc.) a couple of times at the studio through their partnerships. My go-to instructor is John T. on Saturdays! He has great energy throughout the class + does a great job at instructing both bikes + floor simultaneously. Unlike RUN x LIFT classes, 25 min is spent at bikes/floor, then you switch once. The lightest weights for their RIDE x LIFT classes is 8lbs. Staff here is nice and helpful, especially in setting up the new studio bikes. First pair of shoes are free, then it's $3 rental afterwards (cheaper than SoulCycle). They can be used for both bike + floor.

(The locker room and showers are hella nice too. I usually stay away from showering at the gym but you don't have to worry about that here) First day I run in with 2 minutes to spare, find my name, check in. Being a newbie, Mike helped me wrap my hands (thank you!!), passed me a pair of gloves (wraps & rentals come with the promo) and off I went. I thought "It's been a while since I've went to the gym & im out of shape but hey, the muscle memory will kick in. #lightwerk" BRUH. The class is held in a group setting, super fast paced and you just keep going at it. First warm ups and then you start practicing your punches. I was struggling but Greg walked me through how to do everything - the whole time the pace of the workout never stopped. Then came the glorious 5 minutes where we rested as he set up the room and explained how to do the different exercises - circuit style. You won't get bored because there's literally no time to be bored. My second class was with the fierce af Sonia and she also came around and walked me through proper form, never slowing down the pace of the class. Her arm workouts are crazy but maybe my traps and triceps will finally come out of hiding. My shirt was drenched after her 7am class. (I am NOTTTTTT a morning person but her class is worth waking up for) Honestly the best thing is that the instructors don't make you feel like crap when you struggle or need to fix something multiple times. They pay attention, step in when you need it, and definitely motivate/push you. I don't write reviews (this is my first one) but WTF is seriously dope af so go try it out It's been 2 days & my body is sore in places I didn't know could be sore AND IT HURTS SO GOOD SO YOULL DEFINITELY WANT TO COME BACK.

The front desk staff are helpful but despite them flagging the situation, there was no way of contacting the "management" besides an email address that is basically a black hole. Very disappointed since I did enjoy the first two classes that I took at WTF. Now it feels like when they take the money they just don't want to deal with any accidents that a member may have.

You cannot pay me to get on the treadmill, so if I'm going to do cardio this is the way I'm gonna accomplish the task. In case you're nervous about this being a room full of professional dancers, it isn't and you're gonna be fine. Everybody's just there to have a good time and flail around the music to the best of their abilities. It's much more about moving and pumping some cardio into your day so no need to feel insecure about your dancing abilities - you're gonna fit in and have a great time! There's also a DJ for every class which is a delightful touch that adds to the party atmosphere. The AMENITIES! WOAH! If you need to take a shower and get ready here, there are two showers in the women's locker room and they're full of Malin + Goetz products. They also have great hair products and a Dyson you can use with a diffuser if needed! The bathroom isn't huge so I could see it getting a little congested and stressful getting ready in the bathroom but wouldn't be a problem if you go during off hours. Overall, this might be my favorite fitness class I've taken in New York City and I will definitely be coming back regularly.

You know a workout class is good when you're sore for the next couple days…read more The workout class was right up my alley: music and dance. As soon as I stepped in, the staff by the counter greets us and are super helpful and friendly. Keep in mind they look for vaccine verification. There's lockers and showers available. The locker area was really dark, with a water fountain station. And once you open a door, there's the studio! My instructor was so energetic! I thought they would be calm from the reviews, but no no! Not only were they so motivating and fun, but the DJ by the corner mixed trendy songs to match their vibes. We pretty much do dance cardio moves to different pop music the whole class, with a yoga mat ab workout in between. I loved how the lights danced along to the music change. The instructor really embraces feeling confident and loving your body throughout the whole class, that you just finish your class feeling good about yourself. I'm so happy exercising and fun can exist in the same sentence, thanks to 305 Fitness. I would totally come back whenever I want to party but also sweat it out.
