The gym is OK. But the office that charges and controls membership is horrible and not helpful.

Love their classes. Certainly the nicest gym in jersey city and the staff are so friendly. It gets overly crowded after work though.

Are the steam rooms located in the gym locker room for each men and woman?

The steam rooms are single sex with one in each locker room.

Hello, do you guys have a day pass? I will be visiting Jersey City in 3 weeks and am looking for a gym for one day.

Hi! Unfortunately we do not sell day passes. The shortest term membership is our non-commit plan, which can be as short as a 30-day period, if you were to provide your cancellation notice the same day that you registered. Another option, if you book… Read more

The teachers here were very friendly and helpful and they were attentive enough to make sure I was doing the correct poses. The studio itself was a decent size, very clean and well maintenance. Another thing that was really great was the location! It's only less than 10 minutes walk from the nearby light rail station which was very convenient for me. Overall, my favorite class to take here is aerial yoga and I would come back just for that! It's so fun and rewarding and it encourages you to stretch daily! The teacher in my aerial yoga class was so helpful and assisted me a lot because I was one of the beginners in that class. I can't wait to come back here and maybe one day, master the aerial skill. :)

Austin, one of the teachers and co-owners of this wonderful spot, teaches yoga as a spiritual practice. His teachings before class will always make you think and deepen your connection with your practice. Ive taken at least one class with every single teacher and although they all have their unique styles, it's clear that they all teach yoga as a spiritual practice and not just a workout (which has been my experience at many other yoga studios). After my 2 weeks I just had to join. I do a month to month for $150 unlimited classes (you can also do a 6 month commitment for $135 a month). They offer classes at different times of the day on different days of the week so no matter your schedule you are bound to find a time slot that works for you. I do wish they offered more group meditation sessions but regardless you can find me here 3-5 times a week!

Make sure you go into the packages page on their website and sign up for the regular $40 for two weeks package, not the special deal for new members, because that one does not auto renew! I went to two classes - the restorative class and the open flow class. I enjoyed the open flow class, I got a good workout and the instructor was very nice and did not call people out for not keeping up with the class (which I have seen at other places). The instructor spoke continuously throughout the entire class. In the restorative class, we held maybe around 5-6 poses for long periods of time. They were not strenuous poses - more like laying down in different positions. The instructor came around and wafted essential oils over everyone's faces and did some small massages on everyone (there was the option to opt out). I think I did not really know what I was getting into with this class - it is not a workout or stretching class. The reason I am giving four stars is because the classes felt much too crowded. There are designated markers for where to put your matt, and there are a few inches between your matt and the ones on either side of you. I felt like I was constantly trying not to bump into the people on either side of me or kick the person behind me. For the kind of poses we were doing, it did not feel like enough space. Overall they have lots of different types of classes and it seems like a good option if you do not mind being in a crowded class.

Despite being branded as "Hot Yoga," the studio is often kept at a lukewarm temperature due to instructors frequently airing out the room. While it's important to accommodate those sensitive to heat, that's precisely the purpose of non-heated yoga studios. Those attending Hot Yoga expect -- and deserve -- a genuinely heated environment. Without echoing other negative reviews too much, it's unclear why instructors insist on keeping the lights fully on throughout the class. A more ambient lighting setting would enhance the atmosphere and support a more meditative, focused practice. The studio should either rebrand itself to reflect its current focus--such as 'Power Pilates'--or return to its original identity as a dedicated Hot Yoga studio. As it stand now, I would not recommend this studio as Hot or Yoga at all. Sorry!

(yes recently they started handing out sanitizing cloth so you can clean it yourself - but not always). I have witnessed it MANY times that the staff does not wipe the Fusion equipment. 4) They NEVER have cups for the water cooler. Past 5 visits - all 5 times - no cups. 5) The yoga blocks smell foul. The classes were a refuge of quiet peace during a long stressful work week and allowed me to shift into my parasympathetic nervous system. I'm also grateful that the studio only charges $22 for a drop in class (which includes a mat rental if needed) - this is considerably less than other studios in town. I can't recommend this studio more emphatically.
