If you've gotten a Brazilian wax before, you know that timing is mega impressive. The price point is excellent, too. I don't remember the exact total with a full wax + a few upper leg patches... but I know it was about 2/3 of price of my former salon, the Ten Spot. I still have a soft spot for the many shiny Ten Spot locations around TO, but I'm a BareSkin convert. Three cheers for no razors!

I came in for a full Brazilian wax, and I'll admit--I'm usually pretty hesitant about it because of how painful it can be. But this experience completely changed my perspective. The service was exceptional, and the esthetician, Samjhauta, was truly amazing. She used a technique where she waxed in smaller sections rather than pulling large strips at once, which made the process so much more comfortable. To my surprise, it was almost painless--and incredibly fast! The entire Brazilian took just a little over five minutes, and I was honestly shocked at how easy it felt. Not only was Samjhauta skilled and efficient, but she was also warm, attentive, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the appointment. The vibe was welcoming and calming, and I left feeling cared for and at ease. I highly, highly recommend--10/10! This was by far the most painless and positive waxing experience I've ever had. read more

After a botched threading experience at another establishment (read my previous reviews for which place) as well as religiously using Rapidbrow and Full Brow Serum from Province Apothecary to grow back in my brows to not look like a monster anymore, I have been searching for a new place to get threading done. Let's just say that was a very traumatic experience for me. After reading the reviews here and the salon being so close to me, I decided to book an appointment with Sruti to clean up my brows before a wedding on the weekend. I told her about why I was anxious and she was totally accommodating and understanding. And now my brows look great! I had a great experience going to the dundas west location. I got a probiotic facial which left my face feeling so amazing, I don't have very good skin acne/ sensitive. The facial was not harsh or gave me any sensitivity at all also very relaxing. I'm definitely going back I found my staple esthetician! Yay! I also got my eyebrows and upper lip threaded which went fabulous and eyebrow tinting which was my first time and I really enjoyed the outcome. I was a regular visitor of threading place in yonge street where I used to take the service from Shruti. Its been few weeks I didn't see her there and I thought that she must have moved to some other city or went back to her home country. Today luckily I met her in new location which I found far better than the previous one. I was so happy & excited to meet her after a gap and couldn't afford to miss waxing and threading to be done by her. Went here last week and really enjoyed my experience! it was my second time ever going to a threading place and the girl with me was very understanding! i didn't tell her it was just my second time, but she could tell and was very sweet about it. The place itself is clean, and i merely walked in, got my business done and walked out. There were a couple spots she missed. however, when i told her, she immediately cleaned it up. Absolutely awesome experience. Got my full face threaded and arms waxed. I've been trying to find a threading place that doesn't nick me since I moved to Toronto two years ago, that provides consistent results and that is not overpriced. So happy I found this gem. Also, I really appreciate the expertise on eye brow shaping. Places I've been to before have changed my shape over time but Aakriti salon offered me advice on where to let my brows grow in so that I can get back the shape I love. I just moved to Toronto recently and was worried about getting my eyebrows threaded. Based off of previous reviews, I went to Aakriti and I am so happy I did! Definitely going back for as long as I'm in Toronto. My eyebrows are so nicely shaped, and the service was beyond wonderful! Sruti is an absolute angel! I didn't even feel any pain while she was threading, and she's just super sweet! The salon itself is super clean and the prices are so affordable. This is the best place in Toronto to get wax and threading services! The staff are professional and amazing at what they do and I have never had any issues with threading and waxing like other places (and I've tried a lot of places!!!). They are incredibly hospitable, efficient and the prices are incredibly reasonable. This place is a bit of a commute from where I live but it is worth my while!!!! I have been having my eyebrows threaded for many years but it wasn't until I went to Aakriti that I was given such beautifully shaped eyebrows and dyed to a perfect colour. I have been back many many times since and have recommended them to many people. My sister who lives an hour away is planning on making the trip down just to get her brows done. Cheap, efficient and in a great location (for me)! Walk-ins are welcome, which is exactly what I did one Saturday morning. The space is pretty spartan, but when on the hunt for cheap eyebrow threading, all that matters is the esthetician's skill and cleanliness. Aakriti passed on both of this. I would pay a couple dollars more to get my entire bikini done- but I would be wasting my money paying for a bumkini that I wouldn't take advantage of the whole service! Also, I can get a bikini done at other fancy spa's for $25, so what incentive do I have for coming back? I brought a friend as well and if this is the way you continue ripping off your clients then we won't be coming back. The least you could do is explain to your clients that a bikini wax doesn't actually include your full bikini, before their on the table.
