It was the pizza reference I grew up with when I came of age and learned what a pizza was. That said over the past years, the points we had amassed as we were weekly or every other week pizza na families and often multiple lunches per week at pizza man. That stopped after this last Thursday. We had a late evening of soccer, then a power outage occurred and we had no ability to cook, thought taking a pizza to go would be ok. We ordered and headed that way. Upon arriving, we asked to change our pick up order to a dine in option as the kids and I wanted drinks and sodas. The hostess said "that shouldn't be a problem, let me clean off a table and I can seat you." It seemed out of courtesy that she notified the server that she was seating an adult and three kids, "they already ordered their pizza just want drinks and salads too." The server, a shortish woman about 5'5" long curly dark hair some visible tattoos was told this. She turned and said to the hostess "they ordered to go, they get their pie and get outta here." I said "hold on, we haven't paid for anything yet, we just want to sit and eat and we will still pay for everything, even tipping, just don't want to eat pizza outdoors or in the car." Her response was "you shoulda thought of that before you placed an order, pay for your pizza and get outta here." While this was happening, there was another couple who had done the exact same thing in the front dining area-eating out of to go boxes as they too "changed their mind." I love pizza man I hated that server If you wonder why you're losing customers-look within the staff you've hired. I didn't pay for the pizza and it's unfortunate I said "this fucking place has gin so fucking far downhill from where you used to be." Literally a staple of the community and hiring shitbags and others who treat YOUR customers like shit. How fucking dare you. I'm sure I won't get the response I'm looking for. But I hope everyone who is thinking of going to pizza man reads this and rethinks paying any money to your business. It's so sad to see a company who was so great to a community succumb to greed and assholeism that is too prevalent in our society Politely Go fuck yourselves What sucks is that I have to even give A star so it'll work in some metric for yelp. If I got to come back would try the crab cakes. They are not on the lunch menu though. A bit on the pricey side at 29.00. Have it with the suggestion they give on the menu of Sauvion Vouvray wine.

If there is a place in the state of AK with more taps than that, I would like to know where it is. Currently, to my brain, this place is the current Sourdough Tap King. Anyway, not only do they have the MOST taps. They have some really unique stuff. There were beers on tap here that I've never even seen for sale at the larger Brown Jug warehouses! There are beers on tap I didn't even know were distributed in AK! Most impressive. The food, was just OK. I got some tacos and they were alright. They filled me up but weren't much to write home about. Given the Gambrinian fortitude on display here, I will definitely be back. It makes an excellent post-hike stop if you're up near Twin Peaks.

It was only a matter of time before we finally got to this side of town to visit their 2nd location. 907Alehouse took over a building that used to be a taco place (we never got to visit), and before that I believe it was a Firetap Alehouse second location. It's the perfect size bar/restaurant. Very clean and bright inside. Extra long booths for families and some tables in the middle section with a really nice bar area off to the side. Large TV's hang on the walls for sports games. Both the food and drink menus are noticeably smaller here. The brew/local tap selection is a lot smaller at this location. They serve some mixed bowls here that they don't at Old Seward, but they were able to accommodate special requests we made such as "chowder fries." Service was superb here. Food came out fast and hot. They had a special holiday drink menu that I quite enjoyed. We can't wait to return for a sports breakfast someday.

The crust was crunchy on the edge and bottom but had slight give when picking it up. It had enough resistance when tearing the crust with your teeth or fingers. It is somewhere between Neapolitan and Chicago style, It was light and fluffy and the dough bubbled up as it created air pockets in the hot oven. I would say it was in the oven about 6 minutes. I prefer a thinner crust and a little bit more pepperoni but I enjoyed and devoured it. Other items on the menu included different appetizers, wings, salads, and a few desserts.
