I first hired Bob to build a gate to the front of our house. He came in with a very reasonable bid and the mahogany gate he picked out is absolutely gorgeous...a show piece for the front of our home. We have gone on to hire him to build a large deck, stair railings, garden house and a new porch. The math he can do to even out an uneven foundation is impressive. Everything always lines up perfectly and hides any imperfections. He is efficient in digging post holes, building stairs, adding deck railings and working with the material you prefer like trek or redwood for a beautiful finish. From my previous review you know that Bob Gove built a cedar deck for me 4 years ago. The deck has held up so well that I engaged Bob to build a cedar torii gate and stairs for a new hot tub. Bob is a pleasure to work with, has good ideas, knows how to calculate how much material is needed, shows up when he says he will and gets the job done on time. The end result of his work is perfect!
