The truck is fairly old so, among several other things, they quoted new shocks and strut assemblies. After getting the truck back and driving a few days back and forth to work I noticed that it always had a pronounced lean where the passenger side of the vehicle was riding several inches higher than the driver's side. After calling to confirm, Phil stated that they had done an alignment and had even verified the ride height/level. The truck was definitely leaning though so something was not right, I took it to the Toyota dealership and they showed me the issue. Fort Worth Auto Garage had installed the wrong shock and strut assemblies on one side of the vehicle. I don't believe Fort Worth Auto Garage actually did an alignment or a ride height check, because it surely would have been noticed that the incorrect parts had been installed on one side of the truck. That being said, once I confronted Phil with this information he did agree to install the correct parts so eventually it was fixed. Fort Worth Auto Garage do have reasonable prices, however they seem to be a bit sloppy with their work and they do not seem to pay close attention to details, such as part numbers.

I have no doubt that they can do a good job, as seen with these other positive reviews, but in the same manner that they are professionals in this field, I am surprised they did not find anything wrong with the master cylinder, which does have a direct influence on the clutch. Dave mentioned multiple times that his men did not find an issue with the cylinder at the time of inspection, so "technically" they did their jobs. I should point out, that Dave also said that they test driven it by 10 miles. 10 miles and no issues apparently, yet 2 miles of our struggle before the car gave out. I attached 2 new photos showing the odometer. Unless the paper printed on the day I picked up the keys aren't up to date (and if so, why was I given paperwork that's not up to date?) I am hesitant to believe the car was test driven. As my boyfriend was flying back from a work trip, we couldn't get his car till 10 PM, long after Ichiban closed. At 10 PM, we retrieved the car, excited to drive it when... HIS CLUTCH IS LOOSE! Both of us tried it and it feels wrong. NO resistance on the clutch pedal, and he couldn't put the shifter into gear! How is this acceptable! He managed to drive the car off premises but as he got closer to my apartment, literally 2 miles away, he had stopped because he couldn't change gears anymore. That's right, 2 MILES by 11 PM, my boyfriend and his car remain stuck on the side of the road, parallel parked at some street and praying that he doesn't get towed. I did not pay over $2k just to retrieve a car that's not operating properly. Did anyone even test drive it? You guys had the car from Wednesday till Friday. Called me at 9:30 AM stating it's ready, and I didn't even come till 2 PM to pick it up, giving you guys plenty of time to test drive/check for any errors/tighten any loose ends. Since Ichiban is closed, our night, our weekend, is ruined. I really wished I could've given this place 5 stars, the men were nice but the service we received is unacceptable. A simple clutch check/test drive would've signaled to you guys that something is off. Ichiban Autos, we are extremely disappointed.

They treated him fairly, found that his 2006 Honda Ridgeline had several major problems but they did NOT take advantage of my boy, he is 22 so not a child, but I was concerned just the same. Their prices were MORE THAN FAIR and they allowed us to leave the vehicle at the shop for a couple days because my son does not even live in Ft Worth and had to get a ride back to Denton, find transportation for himself and his girlfriend in the heat of August and they were incredibly accommodating. I didn't know anything about Auto Car Care Center's shop, but after speaking to Jeff, the owner, on the phone prior to the tow, I felt he could handle the problem. Jeff worked on my vehicle with the true knowledge of a Saturn's components the other shop never showed me even though they touted being Saturn specialists. Jeff, by far, is a true Saturn specialist. With his determination, he fixed my transmission issue by installing a remanufactured valve body. While there, he noticed a hesitation when starting the vehicle, and then he recommended a new fuel pump and seal. I finally got the call that my vehicle was "ready to take on the world". No problems since I left that shop! I cannot recommend this shop enough! After personally owning and operating a classic vehicle restoration shop for 35 years, I can attest that Jeff operates his shop with honesty, a high level of professionalism, a vast auto parts' knowledge and always keeps the cost of the job down for the customer. He saved me over $2500. from having to buy a remanufactured CVT transmission and labor installation cost!
