I took my vehicle in for a drain and fill. I received a call stating that I needed to replace my transmission for $3600. I paid for the drain and fill and left. Fast forward 8 months and my vehicle started making noise and my thought was "well I guess it is finally going out". NO...took to another shop and was informed that the mount was gone and was the reason for the original complaint that I took here for. Mechanic also let me know that the drain and fill was never done because there were no tools marks showing that the transmission plate had been taken off. So not only did they lie about me needing a new transmission but they didn't perform the work I paid for. AND possibly knew it was only a mount. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! read more

We had what we thought was a transmission issue. We received several recommendations to come down to AAAA. We dropped our car off with Gary. And a few hours later he was able to phone us back and let us know that our transmission issue was actually due to some wiring that was coming loose. He wasn't gonna be able to fix it but he was going to give us a recommendation of someone who could. I said that would be great and we'd come down to settle up and get the keys. He said no charge he doesn't charge for helping out with a diagnostic. So I really appreciate the honesty. I'll be taking my cars here for any future transmission issues and would hope you would too. read more

This company was recommended to me by our trusted auto mechanic who we've done business now for 15+ years. I phoned Kevin who agreed to diagnose the transmission issue I was facing with my 2014 Dodge Ram 1500. My truck has 72K mileage. Kevin looked at it and recommended that I first ensure if it was covered by the Dodge warranty. For some reason, it hadn't even crossed my mind [it should have though]. He rightly charged me $85 for the diagnosis and said if the warranty didn't cover it, then he would deduct the $85 from the other work. The dealer confirmed it was covered by warranty. Kudos to Kevin for his integrity to do what is best for the customer. read more

Spent a few years getting the same repair fixed over and over again. It still isn't fixed and they won't warrantee the work. Claim that it was a design flaw and made me, the customer liable. read more

Dropped off my 1984 CJ 7 for a noise in the rear end. When I picked it up they claimed to have rebuilt the transmission and transfer case! I payed the $2191.64 and left thinking They knew something I did not. Wrong. The transmission did not look like it had been touched, the transfer case either. On my return the people were so sorry, and apologetic. I left and returned to pick up the Jeep with the rear end repair done. This time the bill was $1,642.60 I told them that I thought this was a crooked place and was unhappy. They knocked off $442.60 and I left never to return. Now 800 miles and 3 years later my transmission grinds shifting into 4th gear. This place was highly recommended by my regulator repair shop. I do not think my transmission was rebuilt at all. This is an airport car, it rarely drives over 4 miles, like to Walmart. Never abused. read more

It's going to be difficult to rate their trans work with all the other damage they did to my car! Talked to both Gary and Kevin about rebuilding the transmission in my 95 Impala ss and told them exactly what I expected and about the issues I've had in the past. Gary assured me they would take care of everything and I would be more than happy with their work. They had the car for a week and a half. They had an employee drive the car back to me when ready and right away I could hear the exhaust rattling. When I mentioned this to the driver he said to me," yea. I heard that when I fired it up at the shop'! But yet he drove it to me anyway! I pulled out in the street to test drive it while he was still there, and the tranny made a horrible clunking sound. On top of that, the car was covered in greasy hand prints front to rear and on the glove box and center console. Total lack of respect. The fenders were just covered in dents from the mechanics leaning on them while working on my car, the dipstick tube wasn't even hoked back up, and too many other issues to mention! I take the car back to fix the damage. Puts the car on the lift and we look at it. The exhaust wasn't even close to being installed right. One of his guys come over with a pry bar to fix it saying, " I just need to bend that pipe down a little" NOT!! The cross-member was beat to crap with a hammer for whatever reason, mounts not right, etc.. He has the car for almost 2 weeks. Brings me the car back and the headlights are busted at the mounts, the blinkers fell out, the car was 'detailed' and left a horrible chemical glaze on the paint, over spray on the drivers side rear, and the smell on the inside from all the chemicals was not tolerable! Once again I take the car back to see what Gary is going to do to make this right. His customer service reply was, and I quote,'What do I have to do, or how much will it cost me for you to just go away?' "I'm tired of dealing with you and this car". OUTRAGEOUS!! He wrote me a check for $600 to have me go away and never come back! Two of the nicest guys around, but have absolutely worthless sense of responsibility when it comes to handling problems. Furthermore, their own employees don't respect them either! If they did, they would have never let all this damage and over site go down with my car! If anyone out there reading this doesn't believe this tale, come see me and take a look at the car for yourself. I have yet to drive it since I parked it. The trans has less than 100 miles on it and still has that clunking noise. The paint is still glazed and over sprayed. The headlights are still broken and need replacing. I'm guessing I'll have to fix all that myself and use the 3 year warranty at another trans shop to get the transmission problem fixed. Made a HUGE mistake by taking my car to these guys!
