Great service at this location. The employees were friendly and fast. Parking was easy. This location is handicapped accessible. They do not have handicapped electrical doors but the doors are glass and walls are big windows so the employees could see you and open the door. One star is too much credit. I have been a member of AAA for 8 years and have used them many times, but the past couple of weeks have shown me how horrible their service truly is. I called AAA ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE for a vehicle tow to the AAA facility in Warminster. Because my vehicle is All Wheel Drive and would not start, I specifically requested a flatbed tow truck and a battery jump box. When the tow truck driver arrived he had NEITHER. The driver proceeded to try & tow the vehicle with the dolly. When dropping the tow bar down to connect it to my vehicle it actually was dropped on my car causing damage to the hood, along with pulling my entire bumper off of my car. The driver attempted to repair the bumper himself and had no success. He then requested that I get into the truck so that we could find a facility that could repair the damage to my vehicle. NO SUCCESS. The VERY UNPROFESSIONAL driver then drove me to HIS HOME so he can pick up a battery jumping box. Oh I failed to mention that he had his FEMALE COMPANION IN THE TRUCK AS WELL. After leaving his home, he drove me back to my location, jumped my car, and proceeded with towing my vehicle to AAA CCIT IN WARMINSTER. This situation not only caused me to lose out on money with my job, but it has also left me WITHOUT A VEHICLE FOR 3 WEEKS NOW AND A HIGH REPAIR BILL. They have been UNRESPONSIVE since my first initial conversation with the damage claim manager assigned to my case. Their employees have represented their company in a very unprofessional and inconsiderate manner. SAFE TO SAY I WILL NEVER BE USING THEM AGAIN MEMBERSHIP CANCELLED. read more

AAA was absolutely disgusting. I am an older disabled individual who had my car stall and called AAA. When the driver arrived there and couldn't get my car started he called the police, instead of the tow company that I requested. As it turns out I am perfectly fine and the police did nothing. But my car was towed to a shyster towing company and they want more money for me to try to get it back then I can afford! So in short Triple A stole my car and cause me unbelievable tremendous inconvenience. I'm disabled and I can't get to the doctor I can't even get food. AAA is a disgrace. I called Sunday to have my car towed out of my steep icy driveway so I could go to work and they said 4 hours and someone would call me. They called them told me that they were not going to stop by because I was not a woman with a child and they had more important calls to take care of. I wasted time with AAA and money it cost us 200 dollars for the one year service that we have been members for over two years and we get told sorry we can't help you. I missed my shift in a busy hospital because of AAA not having any integrity or care for their customers. I would not use this company in the future and stick with my insurance company that charges 50 dollars per year to help driver's when they need a tow. My sons car broke down and we waited for a 2 am pick up. Un knowing that they contract out drivers....An unmarked vehicle came to our vehicle. I asked him if was he a triple A driver. He never identified himself as a driver. He inspected the car and i guess decided he didn't want to be bothered. He left us and we couldn't get another driver until 5 am in the morning. I am so angry. This was the worst experience I have ever had with AAA. I have had AAA for over 25 years. I wish customer service had let me know that they used outside contractors and what to expect ay pick up. I was trying to protect myself and my son from an unknown tow truck company. I think everyone should have a membership in the American Automobile Association (AAA). I've had one for most of my adult driving career - it's an invaluable assurance that you can get help in an emergency. I've always had the AAA Plus Membership - it gives you a larger towing mileage allowance. I think I pay about $100 a year for the privilege of their services. I needed to use them this week - my Honda's car battery was dead. I called them - they gave me the option of sending out their Battery Replacement service instead of a tow truck. I opted to try this service - they quoted me about an hour until someone could arrive - but the guy was there in about 25 minutes, He tested my battery - sure enough - it was dead - alternator tested fine. He gave me the option of installing a new battery on the spot - or just giving me a jump start. I opted to try the jump start first. He pulled out a small electronic charging device - connected it to my battery - and told me to give it a try. I was surprised at how small the device was. I guess they don't user jumper cables any more if they can avoid it. My car sputtered, then turned over, and started (it had been sitting for about six months without any usage). He advised me NOT to turn off the car - I thanked him - asked if I needed to sign anything - he told me no - and I was off on my way to Moore Automotive in the City of Fairfax to drop off the car for service. I purchased AAA Premium RV insurance through Delaware as I was told it was not available in South Jersey so when I called AAA In Delaware I specifically asked would I be covered in south Jersey I was assured I would be covered in all 50 states I had automatic renewal for 4 years then I got a flat and gave them a call only to hear they wouldn't come to South Jersey for an RV they did provide 4 numbers for me to call and hire my own help I called all 4 none of them would come either. So there I was left on side the road in 100 degree heat to fend for myself after paying almost $800 for roadside assistance that refused to come out. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau only to be offered a refund of any fees I paid to get up and running. Well I didn't have any fees since I couldn't get anyone to come out and had to do my own roadside assistance. AAA IS A COMPLETE FRAUD and do not provide the roadside assistance they sell. I have asked multiple times for a refund since they sold me an insurance they don't provide. And have gotten nowhere on my requests. Do not buy from AAA unless you are ok with paying for nothing. Because that is what they are selling no roadside assistance when you need it. I would give a 0 star review if I could. read more

I have been a AAA member for as ages. I always depended on them for maps and the occasional lock out. Then my car stalled on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. I called AAA and the first person I spoke to took all my information and said someone would come. Then some time later, another person from AAA called to get more information. She then told me that AAA does not provide towing service at all on the Eastern Shore nor do they provide battery service there. It took them over an hour to tell me this!!! Not helpful and then without them being able to come out, I had to scramble during a major storm to find help with my vehicle stalled in the road! I have been a AAA member since 1988. That's when Reagan was still president. My dad bought me a membership. I now pay close to $200 a year for the membership and buy coverage for 3 sons. Fortunately I have only needed the service about 2 or 3 times. That was until yesterday when my little camper blew a tire on RT 13 in rural virginia. Andrea at AAA said I needed the RV coverage - a service that I dare you to try to subscribe to on their website. But it was Sunday and I couldn't even upgrade. And Andrea told me they coudnt even dispatch a repair service in that area. I had a spare tire and the work to switch it out was exactly the same as a car tire repair. When I called today to add the coverage they wanted $106 more per year. Yesterday I had to find service on my own and paid $125 out of pocket for service that AAA should have covered. Our membership has paid for itself this year (We 've been members for many years but, thankfully, we don;t need to call often.) We got a severe flat tire (literally, we were "screwed" as a metal screw pretty much popped the driver's side rear tire and tube) and called AAA at 1:10 PM. They guarantee service within an hour and Ricardo Blanco from New Castle, DE arrived in 36 minutes. G-d bless him. He changed our tire (using our existing spare) and inflated the spare properly. We had Triple A for over 12 years and was fortunate to be able to use them on 3 separate occasions. One of the many issues I have with them why do the fees continuously rise every year.........we were paying almost $120.00 yearly for just in case purposes. So I gave them a call and their reason for the increase was inflation. For a loyal customer I would assume they would offer some type of discount and was told that wasn't going to happen. Then we had the opportunity to use them to make travel reservation. From their own words, book all reservations on-line (before on-line reservation became popular) or speak to a representative and be charged an extra fee if they reserved anything for us. You are only offered 10% discount and that discount goes towards the tax and not the actual rate.........in which I thought was a bunch of scrap if you ask me. Any-hew, we decided to drop them and work with our insurance agency whenever in need to be towed for whatever reason. At least we can have a rental car at our disposal if any of the cars requires maintenance. PS: If you are a Costco member they provide excellent services for hotel reservation - we had to use them 4 years ago when we were trying to leave Florida due to weather problems and everything was booked up until we reached Savannah, GA. read more

Dear Mid-Atlantic Friends, Drop your membership to AAA Mid-Atlantic and write to Bernie Koch, the head of the organization telling him why! I had an extraordinarily traumatic experience with their service on Saturday, October 26, 2013 in Vienna, VA. I was heading to an appointment along Maple Avenue when my Acura MDX SUV broke down in the right lane of traffic. I immediately phoned AAA and was advised that a tow truck would be there in under 30 minutes. Moments later a police vehicle came up behind me and the officer advised I would have to move the vehicle off the road within half an hour. (There's no shoulder at that stretch so the vehicle couldn't be pushed off the road.) As it happened, the officer patiently waited nearly an hour for the AAA tow truck (Advanced Auto) to arrive. Ultimately, though, AAA was so slow that the officer couldn't wait any longer. He contacted the contract tow company with which his department contracts. That firm, Blairs Towing & Recovery, of Falls Church, VA, towed me just two-tenths of a mile to a nearby parking lot and billed me for $169 in order to do so! Ultimately, it took over one hour for the AAA firm to arrive and return me and my vehicle to my home in Maryland!! Now that I'm trying to get reimbursed for the $169 charge, I'm getting the bureaucratic runaround from the member relations department in Newark, Delaware. There are no apologies for their untimely arrival to the location where my vehicle broke down and there are forms, forms, forms to be filled out before they'll even believe me that I had this highly inconvenient experience. Moreover, they refuse to provide any contact information for Mr. Koch, such that I could alert him to member services issues. Moreover, the rep with whom I spoke on the phone--Ken Rogers--says that by "policy" AAA never reimburses any member more than $100 for a hookup when they must use an alternative towing service due to a AAA default! I've asked for a return phone call from two AAA member service supervisors--Dorothy Kihm and Julie Rosario but haven't yet heard word one from them!! We have four AAA Plus memberships in our family but frankly are questioning the point of these memberships in the face of such overly slow and wholly inadequate service! AAA is not the best choice. There are other auto clubs out there now. In Fact, AAA will not refund if you cancel. Did you know that? Try cancelling and ask for your refund. In addition, the customer service is just not there anymore. When a business gets as big and wealthy as AAA, they forget that they are customer-service oriented. I think they are just AWFUL and I did not used to think that until I tried cancelling and because I was stupid enough to pay for the service ahead, I am not getting my money back. I gave you a 1 because there is no zero to be had. I broke down last night in the middle of no where, and called AAA to see if I could get some help. I was informed that if I knew anyone with AAA and had them add me to their account that they could provide service. My mother who is a member called to add me how ever several of the people she asked to help her out told her to do t on line. She was getting confused so called back. After talking to several more rude people she was connected with a young man who never gave us his name, but repeatedly told me that if I wanted to be towed all of the way home 141 miles then we would have to up grade to the prime account which we did. The gentleman did everything on his end including taking the payment on the phone. At the conclusion of the conversation the AAA guy said that they would have someone out to tow me back home within the hour. An hour later at midnight (oh did I mention that I broke down at 7 PM) the tow company called me to tell me that AAA Mid-Atlantic would not authorize the tow and that I would have to wait a week to get towed home. I spent several hours on the phone with both Mid-Atlantic, as well as Northern California AAA trying to resolve the issue, and was flat ass lied to by a supposed supervisor who stated that she had called my mother to ask her side of the story and was told something all together different which was a total lie since NO ONE from Mid-Atlantic has EVER called her. You kept stating that my mother added me on line which she DID NOT she talked to an agent to have me added. From someone who used to drive tow trucks for AAA you have proven to be the worst, most deceitful bunch of clowns that I have ever dealt with. Way to make a bad situation 1,000 times worst. read more
