Due to a concern in our local water quality and several local children being diagnosed with cancer we sought to have our water tested and look into a water treatment system. We have two young children and them drinking the water from our refrigerator started to terrify me so bottled water it was for awhile. I scheduled a water test with Kinetico and Damian Fernandez came out and completed the tests on our water. I was surprised by how terrible our water was and horrified that I had been allowing our children to drink the water and bathe in it! We didn't waste any time trying to figure out how to get Kinetico's water treatment system installed. I must say, Damain really impressed me with his reaction to my concerns. He really seemed to take the issue of our children's health personally and showed a lot of care and concern for us and did all he could to help us get our system installed quickly. I really do not believe he was using sales tactics as his concern for us continued past us signing the purchase agreement. Damian checked in on the install process and has called to check in to see how things have been going since the installation took place. I also had a lot of questions and Damian stepped up with all the answers. He was very knowledgeable with the product and explained throughly how it all works. I very much appreciated the quality of service Damian provided. Our install was completed by Anthony (I don't remember his last name). Anthony was professional and friendly and very complete. He connected our refrigerator to the reverse osmosis system which was very appreciated as I did not expect that to happen. Now, since we have had the system for about two weeks I can say how incredibly happy I am that we did this! I can't say enough how much better I feel about our kids drinking the water in our home and bathing in it. I feel a weight has been lifted as I was very worried. The benefits of the soft water have been so great as well. To me the issue of our hard water was the least of my concerns over the contaminants in the water but the soft water has already been making a change in our hair and skin! My hair had been hard to manage, straw like, and dull. I hated it and just wore it up in a pony or a bun nearly all the time. Already I am noticing my hair responding positively to the soft water and it is much softer and more manageable. I am so excited to see how much better all our hair will be and our skin won't be so dry! Overall I am very happy with Kinetico's service and product. It seems like the maintenance on the system will be simple and Kinetco reminds us when to get salt and/or filters so thankfully I don't have to think about it much. I have been a home owner for just shy of 21 years with a Kinetico System installed for all but 2 months of those 21 years. I have been very pleased with my water quality, Recently we had a small issue with our system, contacted Kinetico and Damian came out to our home to assess the issue. Being that our system is 21 years old, Damian showed us the newer systems. Damian tested our water, which was still showing very decent numbers both for the faucet and the purified drinking water, but due to the age of our system, understannding the benefits of a water softner system and purified water, we decided to move forward with purchasing new systems. Damians knowledge, ability to answer questions, and wisdom in his field gave us great comfort in making a financial decision in a home improvement project. Anthony was our system installer. Anthony was prompt, professional, kind, and efficient. There were a few questions we had as Anthony was installing and he too was very knowledgable in his field. He communicated with us as to what he was doing and why. He gave us clear instructions on what to do, what to expect and duration of times for each step. Damian and Anthony were extremely patient as both my husband and I shot out question after question. We felt that they both genuinely cared about the concerns we had. Damian did not make us feel obligated to committ to changing anything. When moving forward in making a decision to committ to a large purchase, quality and duration of the item are of top concerns for most people. Looking that our first system lasted almost 21 years, it is a no brainer to upgrade our system, which will have much less use as our family size in the home has lessened. Anticipating that our system will last 20 years, the cost of the system on a monthly overall view is well worth the money spent. We've been a happy customer with Kinetico for years. We live in farming country with sandy soil and a lot of nitrates in the well-water. We had a whole house purification system and an R/O system installed 15 years ago. It was warranted for 10 years and lasted for 15 years. Never a problem with the system or service! It came time to re-evaluate the system in April 2020 and test if it was still doing it's job. Damian came out and ran some tests. I also had the water tested by an independent company and they verified what Damian had found. It was no longer up to the standard as when it was installed. Damian was very informative, kind, and not pushy. We thoroughly discussed several options: 1. Just get bottled water (but we would still be bathing, brushing teeth, showering in sub-optimal, high nitrate water); 2. Refurbish the existing system ( only warranted for 1 year); 3. Or Replace the system (very expensive - but warranted for 10 years). After some deliberation, we decided that our health was invaluable and chose to replace the system. Damian and the owner really worked hard to give us a very good deal, since we had been with them for so long! When Scott came out to install the new system, he took the time to re-plumb the outside system so every part was easily accessible. The tanks and new R/O system had all been improved on since our initial installation 15 years ago. It was a beautiful job! Now, 2 1/2 months later, Damian came back out to re-test the water: the nitrates were practically negligible - .25 ppm - that's - point two five! The system has truly improved over the years, because our first system only got it down to 5 ppm! The hardness of the water = 0 (very soft), pH 7.5, and no iron. Very Happy with these results! Can drink and use water right out of the faucet! Bathe, shower, and brush teeth with the peace of mind that our health is not being compromised! Today is my happiest day because we got our water purified from this amazing company, we picked the right one. It's good to wait because there were 2 people did our water test but we were not satisfied on how they explained us and so we pass. My husband decided to go to Home Depot to check for water purified. Man, I just got The water Softening and filtration system from AAA water System. And let me tell you when I say great water system it is The best water system there is. Every time my nephew comes over he goes straight to my Refrigerator and get some water from my system. He just want stop about how good this water taste. And my dishes don't have those spots after you wash them in the dish washer. our clothes used to smell funky after you wash them and we would have to get that oxy odor blast just so they won't smell. But now with the water treatment system we don't have that smell, We even stop using Oxy odor blast because we don't need to any more. as for taking a shower now the wash cloth that I use gets soapy now and my skin isn't dried out. Let me first start off with saying I did my research and actually received cheaper quotes from other companies but still decided to go with Kinetico. The first company tried to sell me science. I am typically a "bargain shopper" when it comes to everything but my father-in-law recommended this company and now I know why. First, they were so professional.
