Some harsh weather over the past couple of years also caused numerous trees to break, fall, or weaken. Jonny is an excellent communicator, and laid out a multi-phase process to restore the forest so that we can start to develop the next generation of trees and maintain a mature forest. Vines were cleared first, followed by felling dead/dying trees, then final clearing so that material taken down can decompose naturally in the forest. He always checked in as he and his team progressed on the job, making sure they were hitting the targets we wanted without getting too far (to a point of no return). They were courteous, kind, and thoughtful about their approach. They also were able to complete the job within a few weeks, allowing us a chance to get a head start on planting already this season. We also benefited from their services to shape a couple of trees in our front yard that were due for a trimming. We will most definitely go back to them for any tree needs.

In the middle of the operation, a large branch which was being lowered scraped the edge of my roof, damaging the shingles. With my own eyes I saw the accident happen. I complained about this to Eli, but though he had not been there himself he claimed his workers had not caused the damage. He threatened to take his men and equipment home, and leave my yard full of tree debris. Faced with an impossible choice, I agreed to have him continue the work. When I spoke with the company owner, Mr. Emmanuel Pedroza, he too refused to take responsibility for the thousand-dollar cost of repairing my roof. This company may know enough about cutting trees, but it does not back up its promises. Eli had said they would treat my roof "as though it were a power line," being careful not to touch it. Instead, his workers carelessly let a branch brush my roof and break its shingles. Employ this company IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT LOSING MONEY.

Every month there is a new notification plastered on everyone's door telling about new inspection or new requirement going into affect. The most recent being notification that rent is going up by $50/month and grills can only be stored in garages or in separate designated areas. The price of the apartment might start out reasonable - $880 - but quickly goes w/ needed amenities - water: $25, garage: $45, crappy washer dryer: $45, etc. For being an older complex it charges like it's brand new - going to be moving out and get what my money is worth.

The apartments are overpriced. The model apartment misrepresents the age and cleanliness of the…read moreapartments and what appliances will be included. Don't rent their washer and dryer; the washer doesn't wash and the dryer takes 3 cycles to dry. If you start the lease with the w/d and/or garage, you're stuck with them throughout the lease. We were told the mold disclosure was something they had to put in with the lease documentation, but they don't have a mold problem...lie! If you look up in the bedroom and bathroom vents it's there. They disclosed about the mold, but not about grills. The grill rule was disclosed via newsletter on our door. If you think you're going to store your grill on the balcony or patio, you can't. As of April 1, if you have a grill on your balcony or patio, you will be fined $25 a day. We were told maintenance would come to the apartment 2 times a year to change filters and perform semi annual maintenance and we receive a notice closer to monthly saying they'll be in our apartment. The water heater is behind a locked door and since the last filter change/maintenance visit, the temperature of the water has gone down. The fitness center equipment is old and outdated. On the positive side. They allow pets, but be prepared to pay a large deposit plus monthly pet rent. The apartments have w/d hookups, maintenence responds quickly, and there are many amenities close by.
