In the middle of the operation, a large branch which was being lowered scraped the edge of my roof, damaging the shingles. With my own eyes I saw the accident happen. I complained about this to Eli, but though he had not been there himself he claimed his workers had not caused the damage. He threatened to take his men and equipment home, and leave my yard full of tree debris. Faced with an impossible choice, I agreed to have him continue the work. When I spoke with the company owner, Mr. Emmanuel Pedroza, he too refused to take responsibility for the thousand-dollar cost of repairing my roof. This company may know enough about cutting trees, but it does not back up its promises. Eli had said they would treat my roof "as though it were a power line," being careful not to touch it. Instead, his workers carelessly let a branch brush my roof and break its shingles. Employ this company IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT LOSING MONEY.

Some harsh weather over the past couple of years also caused numerous trees to break, fall, or weaken. Jonny is an excellent communicator, and laid out a multi-phase process to restore the forest so that we can start to develop the next generation of trees and maintain a mature forest. Vines were cleared first, followed by felling dead/dying trees, then final clearing so that material taken down can decompose naturally in the forest. He always checked in as he and his team progressed on the job, making sure they were hitting the targets we wanted without getting too far (to a point of no return). They were courteous, kind, and thoughtful about their approach. They also were able to complete the job within a few weeks, allowing us a chance to get a head start on planting already this season. We also benefited from their services to shape a couple of trees in our front yard that were due for a trimming. We will most definitely go back to them for any tree needs.

We rebuilt the home and decided to have some trees trimmed to limit future damage from the weather. We called Frank's Tree Service and he met with us to give and estimate. They are bonded for damage in the process of limb tree removal so when Frank called me the morning of the removal, and said that part of our deck steps had been crushed by a swinging limb, I knew it would be repaired and we were not angry. But over the course of the next few weeks it became clear that this man had no intention of paying for this damage, which he did not. He drug his feet on any repairs and every time I called it was another excure. We wanted this house done so I told Frank we would hire the builders to repair and give him the bill. He never paid, never called so in essence, my 95 year old mom who owns the house, never was reimbursed for the damage they caused. Nice customer service.
