I started this service over a year ago. I was told it was to late to seed the yard last year but they would fertilize for the year end and promote grown for the next year. Well the next year came along and I inquired about seeding the lawn at the beginning of the season and was told that they don't seed until the fall season. So I inquired in September when they were going to seed my lawn and was told that they were extremely busy and would get around to it. Well it's mid October and they informed me that they were not going to get to my lawn this year. Needless I terminated their services. read more

VERY disappointed with this lawn service. Moved into a new home with a large lawn, so I needed some help with mowing and fertilizing as I got settled in. They were eager to help and the prices weren't bad. Found out the hard way "you get what you pay for." First few mows were great. No issues, lawn started looking good. Then they sent someone I hadn't seen before. They dropped the blade on the grass and ended up "scalping" my lawn to the dirt for 10' right in the front for all to see. In the same visit he also drove into the area all the other workers knew to avoid due to water saturation and got the mower stuck...in the process churning up my lawn creating large holes where there once was grass. He DID come to the front door and apologize and let me know before I found it on my own. I figured everyone makes mistakes. But they continued. The next time he mowed so close to my trees that he sawed off a large root at the base of the tree, and ran into multiple other trees. The person edging went so close to the ground that a yellow dead spot was left around every tree and all the edging of the landscaping. A lawn light was ran over and destroyed. It was also pointed out to be by one of the managers (days later when I complained) that they were trimming too close to the tree and damaging the trunk. I was not notified ahead of these "mistakes..." This was the 2nd time I had to call in to complain. Someone came out to look and I explained that this was becoming ridiculous. While he was there I pointed out a large spot they had never mowed. It was full of weeds, so they also hadn't sprayed there either. I explained that all of these issues happened as soon as one employee started mowing my lawn. I was told over and over again "The other yards in your neighborhood aren't like this. Look, they look great." I said, "Who mows them?" He said, "Not this guy. Maybe he can't handle your lawn." It's not helpful when you're upset with your service and they point out other customers getting better service... The next week I was AMAZED to see they sent the SAME GUY AGAIN. I surveyed, and didn't notice any damage as before. The next week...SAME GUY AGAIN! I couldn't believe it. Did they CARE about my service? As I was leaving my home that evening after the last mow I noticed a tree in my front yard had 2 large branches hanging down and dying because they were snapped. This was it. He was mowing so close to my trees that he was catching the bottom branches, and if he wasn't tearing them and snapping them, he was damaging the bark. Again, I wasn't notified of this damage and to say this was a tree service company that damaged and left a tree looking like that in someone's front yard says a lot. I had had it. I called and demanded they fix the tree (they did 2 days later) and that I be refunded because all I've been getting from them during these headaches was "I'm sorry." I got no refund. I told them it was pretty clear why there were issues and also clear they didn't value me as a customer to send someone back 2 times that I had directly complained about. I have never experienced such HORRIBLE customer service in my life. I will never use them again and I will advise others STRONGLY not to get involved with them either. I don't usually write bad reviews like this, but I felt I had to this time. read more

We Started with Ultralawn two years ago and our lawn has NEVER looked better. My brother recommended them when he had them start at his new house in Palo. Ray Colony, the Tech who does our lawn has been nothing but pure professional in every way. He has taken time on a couple of occasions to explain things to us and has given us advice on things we can do to improve our yard. We couldn't recommend Ultralawn and Ray enough. Thanks guys for the aeration, the feedings and weed preventative and the great service with fantastic results! Ray and another guy didn't make us feel bad when they first started our lawn. Back then we had sink holes all over the place and a retaining wall that was caving in, now that we've got it all replaced, the services Ultralawn has done makes our place a real showplace. read more

We used this lawn service for one full season and were very pleased with the service they provided. This year, however, has been extremely disappointing! They were contracted to provide mowing and trimming of our yard. Spending 20 minutes or less, they have mowed, leaving behind strips of heavy wet grass to dry in large clumps, even cleaning out the bottom of their mower and leaving it in a pile on our lawn! I witnessed myself! Trimming wasn't completed, either! I notified management on two occasions and someone was sent to complete the job. Yesterday was the last straw! I finished the job myself, using my own mower. read more
