Jonathon came out for an estimate for my roof repair. He listened to my desire to repair the roof rather than replace it with a new one. He told me that they could place the loose tiles back where they belonged and would also do maintenance on the pipes on the roof . Our idea was to keep our roof tiles because we always loved the look. Jonathon gave me a fair price and was very professional , knowledgeable and personable . He didn't try to sell me on a new roof. Yelp reviews were definitely influential, a neighbor also recommended, but AAA Roofing Services specifically had a C-39 roofing license (important!), plus their license was a low, six-digit number (meaning they'd been in business a LONG time, also important). We highly recommend Lee and AAA Roofing Services. We retained them to fix broken tiles on our roof last year and then we recently saw water stains on our wall, so we called Lee. We assumed we had a leak. Lee checked out our roof and all was fine. He stayed and looked for the origin of the leak -- finding that there was a gap in between the outside wall and two pipes. With the recent rains, he said the water got in through those gaps. He could have left then but he stayed and patched up the gaps for free. He's very professional, knowledgable and the nicest guy. I Highly Recommend this outstanding company! My experience with AAA Roofing Services was fantastic from the very beginning. I needed a complete reroof... still had original shake shingles underneath a composition roof that was probably 40 years old and well beyond its lifespan. I got estimates from several highly reviewed companies, but once I met Ryan W, I knew this was the company I was going to use. His experience, knowledge, honesty and integrity sealed the deal. All along the process, he made sure that I was taken care of and that all of my questions and concerns were thoroughly answered and addressed. The estimate I received was very fair. It was better than the other companies and had more "bang for the buck" by including far better roofing materials than many of the others offered. They also stayed true to the estimate. There were no hidden costs or "up-charges". As we approached the work date, we ran into an interesting problem with the City of LA when it came time to get the permit... for some strange reason, my house didn't seem to exist in their records... the Tax Collector, however, has found me every year, LOL. So, Anita over at AAA jumped into action and handled the situation. After we provided proof of my home's existence, the City Engineer quickly signed off on it, permit was issued and we were good to go. Nicole, at the office, was fantastic with scheduling, communication and follow up. I never felt I was in the dark about anything. On the first day, the tear off, Lee, the owner of AAA stopped by to check on progress and make sure I was being taken care of... which of course I was because Ryan is on top of his game. The roofing crew were exceptional from start to finish. I rarely leave reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised more than I can say by Lee at AAA. He was a little bit early rather than hours late. He was very thorough and professional. He was mindful of our privacy. Best of all, he analyzed the problem with our roof and said that it was in very good shape, but needed some minor work with flashing. Our neighbors had similar problems because of the extraordinarily heavy and long rain spell. They had estimates in the tens of thousands of dollars. These guys are the real deal! Lee has come out to my house twice and on both occasions quickly found the leak and fixed it while all other roofers wanted to do massive roof repair. Lee was able to slap on some sealant and fixed the problem for free, not to mention was here within a day or so of me calling their office. I would highly recommend them. I needed an extremely last minute escrow roof inspection. I called around to several places that couldn't fit me in. My brother's company has a list of trusted companies and AAA is who they recommend for roofs. My house was outside of their service area, but they made an exception and fit me in last minute. THEN the seller's agents of the escrow house totally ghosted me for several days, refusing to confirm the appointment. The night before the appointment, I cancelled with AAA because I figured the agents weren't going to let us onto the property. The next morning at 7AM, the seller's agents finally confirmed. Facepalm. I called AAA as soon as they opened and miraculously, they were able to fit us back in, same day! Throughout this whole ordeal, they were kind, patient, and accommodating, both on the phone and in person. The inspection went great, they were clearly knowledgeable and honest. They didn't try to upsell anything and accurately estimated the age of the roof. In the end, the roof was fine and they didn't even provide an estimate because no work needed to be done. I have heard that unscrupulous roofing companies will sometimes intentionally mess something up on the roof so that they can then charge to fix it. Clearly these guys aren't doing that. They seem to be genuinely trustworthy. I will definitely be using them for all future roofing needs and I thank them for their patience and service! read more

Then he explained what needed to be done and why. So, bottom line for my older home was stripping off old shingles, checking and replacing some wood that needed repairing, and a brand new roof.
