i renew my membership and didn't realize it was "automagically renewed " never received a bill prior to the renewal. was charged & never got a email receipt. very frustrating that happened. make sure you don't have automatic renewal. billion dollar company could not have gotten these documents emailed is a huge letdown. was on my moms account. have been a member for 51 years. not sure if it's worth staying on. buyer beware!! read more

The check engine light appeared Sunday evening. Ugh! I got up early Monday morning and looked for the obvious possible problem. Alas, I got to tow it to the auto repair. Using my AAA membership, I called for a tow. The woman over the phone was very helpful. She said I would get a text when the truck was on its way and a link to track it. The roadside tech, David C, called me and let me know his was on the way. He arrived within 30 minutes and we were off the the repair shop. We arrived at the shop no problem. Thanks a million, David. I've been a member for years. I can attest that the service we receive is top-notch. The CSR on the telephone are professionals. They are very helpful. I like that as a member, you can get cell/text updates, which I appreciate. I've had numerous car trouble situations over the years, with almost every vehicle that I've owned. From battery trouble, to needing gas (only happened once- never made that mistake again), to needing a tow (this was probably the most calls I've ever made, especially with the lemon of a car, the PT Cruiser; glad that isn't my problem anymore), to locking the keys in my car (hubby did that, last year). Yup, we really could depend on AAA Road Service, even when we went out of town on a short road trip. It was a bit longer but I understood why, it was in the middle of the freeway. This is a service I can really recommend, 100%. read more

They don't even deserve a 1 star. Manager, Bert was very rude and did not even help in calming an irate customer, hence he made the situation even worst with his tone of voice and demeanor, The lady customer service Rep was a better option than the manager. I just had to take his crap that it is a 3 day weekend and they are busy and si have to wait for 3- r hours from time of call. I hope AAA would state that on their marketing materials and not deceive customers. I placed a call at 10:40am that I need my car towed to the shop. After 5 minutes, I got a text saying they can't find a driver and will update after 15 minutes. Then around 11am I got a text another 20 minutes, they can't find a driver. I called CS to get an ETA & told them I have to be out here by 12:15-12:30pm coz I have to go somewhere and take care of a lot of things and will not be home until 6pm. I was told just take Uber and do what I have to do!! What??? Unbelievable!! I demanded for an ETA but lady CS can't commit so I was transferred to supervisor. Whoala much much worse ! Low quality manager by the name of Bert who can not even handle stressful situations. How can he be a Manager?? With my experience with him, I am sure he will put me at the bottom of the wait list!! He can't just admit that AAA does not have decent number of contracted drivers to service customers! I will cancel my membership ASAP. Also, they can not even tell me what is the cost of additional mile since they only cover 5 miles free for towing and the shop is 11 miles from my house. Only the driver knows. Is that legal?? You are forced to get a service that you are not aware the additional cost per mile? Shouldn't they be disclosing that upfront??? I will definitely report you to BBB and report you to the FTC for that practice, it's not acceptable that customer is unaware of the cost of towing in excess on f the first 5 free miles, wait for 3 hours for the service driver to come and I will not have a choice but to have it towed coz I already waited for so Long and will just be forced to accept the cost especially if it is way above my budget. read more

I had the unfortunate circumstance of hitting debris on the freeway that blew out my tire on a holiday. I was able to get my car safely off the highway onto a side street. When I phoned AAA, they were more than accommodating, especially because the car that I have requires a flatbed due to the low profile. When the driver, Mr. Michael Blackwell arrived, he took the extra care needed for my car to load it on the flatbed, and to unload it at the Destination. It's so encouraging to come across people who take the time to do their job extremely well. I applaud AAA for hiring this gentleman. !! read more

My tires were slashed on a Sunday. I had a 10:15am appointment on Monday to replace the tires. I called AAA at 7am thinking that would be plenty of time to get the needed flatbed here and me to my appointment on time. They were set to arrive at 8:04am. At 8:03am they call and say another 45-90 minutes as there are a lot of service calls. When I still have not heard anything at 9am I call to see when the truck will be dispatched only to be told 2 more hours because the trucks are dealing with snow from a recent storm?!? We live in Las Vegas!!!! What snow. I tell her I can't wait 2 hours to be told I can get a private tow and submit the receipt for consideration of reimbursement. Waited four hours for service and I'm a so called top tier Premier member. Their dispatch service is shit on a shingle. My wife waited in a dark parking lot for those four hours with no follow up. Then follow up from a driver in Sta Rosa CA! Don't waste your money on these incompetent idiots. They have never heard of customer service. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Also I want to say that I am aware that I am not the only person who needs a tow. However if when you called the 800 number and they gave you an accurate time of arrival so you could make your decision at that point. Instead they have you wait 2 hours and then don't bother to update you when they add 2 hours onto your wait time... But I can pay out of pocket for a tow from a private company and then submit my receipt for consideration for reimbursement. So tell me why I pay for AAA roadside service? I'm sure with the money I've put into my account in the time I've been a member could have paid for my tow. A member since 2016. So I'll be canceling my membership since I just have to pay out of pocket anyway. I hope I get a survey. As if being stuck with a broken car isn't stressful enough. Thanks AAA! read more
