Well...that was easy! I was in and outta there in less than 25 minutes. There are currently two AAA locations that handle a number of DMV transactions and this one was closest to me. So I begrudgingly trudged on in expecting a day waster since I could not get a DMV appointment for 5 weeks. Instead I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the experience was. The receptionist was pleasant and informative. The waiting area was comfortable and clean. The wait time was remarkably short. This place is ridiculously inefficient. 3 DMV windows in operation, but all 3 are never open at once. Each time they help a customer they take a break immediately afterwards. So the routine goes, help one customer, take a break, help one customer, take a break. We've been here an hour and a half and between those 3 windows, they've helped 4 people. We came here thinking it would be faster than going to the DMV to get handicapped parking placard for my mother in law. DMV would have been a much better option. I'm guessing the people working the DMV windows here are the flunkies who couldn't hack it at the DMV. Absolute laziness was on full display here today. Would highly recommend avoiding this place for DMV services. read more

I was a AAA member for several years. I left them because of the bad service that came from this office. Customer service is probably better in the back of an alley behind a swap-meet. Good luck getting someone to help you, if you're older. If you call, and get transferred your lost to oblivion, and no one will pick up the phone. That's the case with at least 90 % of the staff there. They also, charged me a monthly repetitive payment, but suddenly they decided to change wording of who was charging me. It didn't even say AAA, or even listed a phone number, plus the monthly was different. I ended up canceling my ATM, because I thought someone was committing fraud. Turned out to be AAA but they didn't notify right away. $400. To catch me up on monthly plus $200 to reinstate me. Total of over $600. I called them about it, but of course it was a waste of time. They wouldn't work with me either. If their customer service is that bad you're better off with a different insurance company. read more

Wow! Can't thank this agency enough for helping me register my new car. I received my green slip way in advance from the dealer. I sat down last Thursday to register my car online as I was instructed. When I got to the insurance screen it kept saying that the car was not insured. I called my insurance company and they explained that the system would update by Monday which is the date my registration had to be completed. Woke up this morning and tried again, still didn't work. As we all know there is no grace period in Nevada and trying to reach DMV by phone is an anomaly. My husband mentioned trying a kiosk around town so we drove down to the local AAA office close to our home. The lady who assisted us informed me that there kiosk is only for renewals. She kindly sent me to this office where I met Jalaine Robinson. From the beginning Jalaine was super helpful and made me a walk in appointment for 1:50pm. I arrived promptly and was assisted by Jalaine and Ryder. There were a few electronic glitches but we got it done. I walked out with registration and new plates. I was done in less than an hour which would never happen at DMV. Thank you so much Jalaine and Ryder. You are truly my Helpful Heroes and your customer service was Five Star all the way! read more

My horrible experience with Aaa was not AAA on rainbow it was the experience with Supervisor Molly out in California 9254907491 worst adjusters Daniel and Megan ignored all my call and dragged there feet on settling a claim that caused permanent damage to my son that was no fault of his own the final offer was pennies. Though I faithfully paid and was incredibly satisfied with AAA for more then 5 years and paid extra for under insured motorist Molly and her 2 staffers were very very rude when we did speak or just ignored my calls. Though I went through a very bad experience with these three people I intended to continue with AAA until it was time for my renewal my insurance went from approximately 3,500 a month to just over 13,000 so had to go elsewhere as well as cancel my roadside. The service at this particular branch is so bad that I wish I had never switched my policies to AAA. They are your best friends when they're selling you policies. You will never hear back from them again no matter what happens. In my case, their agent Ralph, failed to send my evidence of insurance to the DMV, to my Mortgage Company and to the finance company for one of my cars. All three contacted me with some form of a financial penalty for not having proper insurance. I did have proper insurance, but he didn't bother to file it. To make the long story short, these were not necessarily an easy fix, but I did get them taken care of. I called him on July 3 but he never returned my phone call. We are at August 3 when I am writing this, and I still have not heard back from him. Multiple calls, text messages and leaving messages with someone identifying as his assistant plus leaving a message with his branch manager and still no call back from any of them. Run! Do not walk if someone refers you to this particular branch of AAA. I just filed a formal complaint with their parent company. My next move will be to remove them as my agents. From this point forward, I can self serve all of my Niece with AAA without going through anybody in this branch. One last sad truth is that I am in a position to refer business to them. I am frequently asked who I carry my homeowners insurance with, and I promise, I will never, never refer a single person to this branch of AAA. read more

I've been to this location 3 times in about a year and a half so I can only speak to the experiences I've had those 3 times, of course. They do have the office set up to where you check in first, and they'll direct you to where you go next. Last time I was there, I was met by Alexis. She was friendly, polite, and professional. She took the information she needed, then had me have a seat until I was called. Luckily, I called ahead of time the friday before only to learn it was a 2 hour wait at that time, so I came back the following Tuesday. Good thing, as it was deader than a door nail. I waited only about 5 minutes, then was called by Jareth G. Jareth, like Alexis, was also polite, friendly, and professional. She took all the information she needed to complete the transaction, took my payment, and provided the appropriate product for my transaction. I think from the time I entered the office, to the time I left a satisfied customer, it took maybe 20 minutes. I mentioned to one of the gals where I am from, the AAA offices I think ALL have DMV services, and so whichever one I mentioned this to, told me the company was starting DMV services at ANOTHER location closer to where I am, but it's not yet widely known to the public. Too late for me this time, but I'll file that info away for next time. BUT, I'm also a "don't fix it if it aint broken" kind of guy, so I might still give my business to this location in the future. Before I wrote this, I perused the negative reviews, and I'm not saying those people aren't allowed to feel dissatisfied, but I see it this way. All businesses have their quirks. And yes, some days, the relentless rude customers can wear on employees. Not saying that as an excuse, but as a reason. And as far as cross-selling security systems...no, I would't buy a home security system from an insurance company, no matter how much I like them. I've been with AAA all my life, and I'm retired. Like I said, I know they have their quirks and on a little insider note, some real head scratchers, but AAA is the real deal. I honestly believe they do a better job at hiring quality people than alot of companies. The fact you got someone on a bad day, I'm sorry, we all have. It happens. I was hesitant to come into this location just because some of these reviews were not the best. But I needed some DMV services and called ahead of time to make sure I had all the things I needed. I just moved from out of state and needed to register my car. I walked in about 10 minutes after opening. I was greeted by someone at the welcome desk who was very sweet and helpful! I was told there were 3 ppl ahead of me and that it would be 45 minutes(much better than waiting at the DMV) but it ended up actually being about 15 minutes which was AMAZING! This shop did not fixed my car probably. My car was towed to their shop and I paid for all the repaired that was recommended by the agent. In trusting them to do so, I was traveling home and the car broke down again the same way before the repair. They also broke my windshield and denied to know anything about it. On our way to Las Vegas, my husband exclaimed with dismay, "Oh no, I forgot my maps!" "Can't you just use GPS?" I commented. Needless to say, we ended up at this Triple A and yes, they still provide maps to people like my husband who can't change with the times. At least we will have backup when we lose our internet in the mountains! This facility was beautiful! This a new location. It was moved two years ago from 3312 West Charleston Blvd. They provide free coffee and tea. They called our name within 15 minutes although most locations now have self serve maps. Our assistant was wonderful and provided us with all our needs. We left with loads of maps and guides. She told us about restaurant discounts in the area and helped us with information on getting to the Valley of Fire. read more

They also give false promises to convince you to join their membership. They also overcharged for my insurance payment so once they finally responded they said they'd call me right back to refund my money and it's been weeks and no response. Did you know that certain AAA locations do certain DMV services? I came here because I needed to renew my handicap placard. It's a walk in service. Was immediately greeted and checked in. Waited approximately 40 minutes and was helped my Adele. She was very friendly, helpful and fast. I was in and out in an hour and didn't even need to wait for an appointment for a month for the DMV. She made sure I was able to get on schedule to avoid late fees. Due to COVID there is limited capacity. I got my insurance here prices are good and some of the personnel is kind with customers . However the guy on DMVServices at this location is mostly rude and with a pedant attitude ... was there to update my payment information on my policy and he was rather rude, ignoring what I was saying as I try to explain why I was there . If you ever in this office at rainbow, try to avoid this guy ... is not like I was there begging for service ... so disappointed about the service I got here today. AAA needs to stop pushing members to buy AAA smart home security system. I purchase a home in northwest vegas and have this security system installed at my new house, what a big mistake that was for four consecutive years I had nothing but problems with that system, installation was unprofessional done, for three consecutive years the cameras were not connected with the main monitoring office located in Arizona, I have a break in into my backyard and of course the cameras did not recorded anything, police show up and needed to see the recorded footage without any avail due to the fact that the cameras were not connected on their end, call company made then aware of the situation and oh no! They discovered that my cameras were not connected to the monitoring center, got if fix on their end now the main panel to control the security system went totally pitch black and is useless have have spend countless hours with technology support and still did not get to work. THIS COMPANY INSTEAD OF WORKING WITH YOU THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR FEES AND JUST TO REPLACE THE PANNEL WILL COST $350.00 not counting the technician fees if $125.00 per hour. This is the must unprofessional company i have ever deal with, I own several houses and have Brinks security ADT and also AT & T and never experienced any issues at all. Just a shame that they are participating with AAA a reputable company to push and sell such horrible alarm system AAA needs to be aware of this and not sell such product. Highly recommended! Friendly and professional, unsure why previous ratings on low side. I had a non-standard DMV transaction that (unbeknownst to me) AAA normally doesn't do. In particular I had to re-register a car in non-operational storage that was titled in California. RhondaL was awesome in spending a lot of time, requiring several days. Visited for a simple request of renewing a handicap placard. We are AAA members. It was roughly 2pm on 8/18/23. I'm not sure of the employee's name that "helped" us, but he was rude and harrassing about completely unrelated facets of the business we needed to handle. None of which impacted the job he needed to do and just process the replacement of the placards (of which everything was presented to him in perfect order)... We could not get an appointment to register our vehicle for a LONG time. We called AAA, and they made an appointment for us in 2 weeks. Needed to get tags on a new car on Saturday before a holiday weekend because I was going out of town. I went to the DMV and it was a 6 hour wait. Decided to sign up for AAA that day. I went in and they told me I would need an appointment. However, the reception said let me see what I can do for you. He was able to fit me in within the hour. While I was there they offered me 50% off membership if I added my boyfriend so I said why not. Everyone there was no nice and helpful. Update: the AAA response provided is canned. The email address is inoperable. Until now, I'be held a moderate to good impression of AAA. These folks at the Rainbow location however, changed all of that forever. Besides waiting too long, the two staff members with whom we interfaced were more focused on selling us membership. We came in for international driver permits. That's it. We are 35+ year USAA members. So, instead of making us feel like AAA is welcoming, accepting and helpful; and perhaps a good option for anything we cannot get through USAA - which is nothing, BTW - we were made to feel like we were voluntarily part of some hard sell timeshare freebie. We paid $80 for permits and photos, were told at least three times that the photos would be free IF we were members, and made to wait too long because they were "serving other member customers." The check out clerk, was especially lame. "Oh you are NOT AAA members....hmmm...well, let me see what we can do about this." How 'bout taking our $80 for services rendered and stop wasting our time. So, for the manager who reads this review, take note. This negative review is your fault. Coach your staff to use a more reapec tact with non-members; not us of course because we will never be back there. read more
