Easy Peasy to register my car and get a Driver History Report…read more All done within 5 mins at the kiosk(they have 2). Be patient with the folks in front of you who get all kind of confused with the machine. LOL. It's not that difficult. Trust me. It's like using an ATM. My go to for DMV needs. Located West Flamingo and Cimmaron. NW side of road

Remember to "do" anything at the DMV you need an appointment. You can make this said appointment on line or in person. Today we are coming to this place to get a drivers license. As time passes our children grow into adulthood and we take baby steps to let them get out into the world. Here we go again with the driver's license test. As you walk in the building the new system the DMV has incorporated works. Having an appointment ensures accurate service most of the time. For those going for the permit they offer a wonderful space that is enclosed for concentrating. The testing room is all computerized. It's a multiple choice test that you truly have to study for. The state of Nevada is one of the hardest places to get your license. The state has no room for failure. Study study study for the written test and the driving portion. If at first you don't succeed, try and keep trying. Never give up. When Connor, did not pass the driving instructor was very compassionate about educating him on what he did wrong. They want drivings that are going to follow the traffic laws and be great citizens at driving. Come prepared and make sure your car is ready and safe for the road test. Make sure and have an appointment and be patient . Let's do the DMV!

I am complaining about DTR School of Trucking CDL Training 3133 West Post Road Las Vegas NV. 89118…read moreI went there to do my passenger endorsement I paid them $2,400 dollars for nothing they took my money and basically told me I only paid $2400 I did'nt pay $3.500 for the course I took two test with them they failed me because I did'nt paid them that $3.500 dollars the owner's son he was doing the test this is a conflict of interest but the son doesn't know I know he is the Owner son I was doing my Own investigation about this Business I just finished my A license with a different school last year early from a Reputable School I pass my class with over ninety percent. t my instructor called me and told me I was one of the best student he had I've been driving trucks for over thirty years so I do know a few things about Vehicles this business DTR is Ripping off people they let me feel like I was a peace of shit, when I booked the test they took a long time to schedule it even when I payed them in advance. the Owner son gave me the test twice this is wrong he is looking out for his Father best interest and there driving School they are using this passenger endorsement as tool to rip off people ,if you do not pay that $3.500 its automatic fail what they advertise and what they do is totally false. I will be going to a different school for my endorsement and will have to pay all over again, what they did to me really hurt me financially, I studied very hard for that test its all about the money its not what you know that's a shame the Owner told me I need to pay another $3,500 after he got $2,400 out of my pocket He is very arrogant.

This is the agency that is supposed to go after car dealers, auto mechanics, and similar types of…read morebusinesses that have let you down, or failed to follow the rules, or scammed you. For example, if you fail to get a written estimate from a mechanic, and in your "gentleman's agreement," he or she tells you, "Oh, it's just going to cost around $200" to fix this or that; and then, when you return for your car, you're handed a bill for $1,200.00, and they fail to return the car until you pay it, you probably will want to, among other things, contact Nevada Compliance Enforcement. That is because, the mechanic was supposed to give you a written estimate. There are a host of rules and regulations in the Nevada Revised Statutes (related specifically to automobiles and other vehicles) that the Nevada Compliance Enforcement is supposed to enforce. But are they just a tiger without teeth? It is hard to say. Frankly, if you have been scammed (as in the example above), you would want to contact them. After all, it would probably take you less time and money than trying other options. (Although a lawsuit would also be effective). But how much this agency does, and how quickly or effectively, is probably debatable. It is free to get their help, and that is good. The best way to interact with them, it seems, in my experience, is to have another organization do it for you. For instance, if you complain about the above-mentioned example (the mechanic scam), and then, if you qualify, get seen by the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada (which provides free legal help to those below a certain income), and then Legal Aid contacts the Nevada Compliance Enforcement, NOW you are "cooking with gas," as my mother used to say. They will get on it (eventually), and something will happen (eventually). I saw this happen when a guy was scamming poor people (mostly undocumented immigrants) out of their money with a vehicle purchase scheme. This scoundrel was "selling" cars to folks that he did not own. The office helped out quite a bit, and I believe the thief was caught and prosecuted.

It seems like neither one of the two offices wanted to file the report. Finally, after the Chatsworth Police Department rejected the online police report for jurisdiction reasons, the financial crimes Department in Las Vegas informed me that they could file a courtesy report and fax it to the Chatsworth division. My uncle and I arrived when they opened and there were already two couples ahead of us. The sign on the door indicated they opened at 8:00 am, but the online website indicated that they opened at 9:00. By 9:10 a.m. we were being helped. They had us go inside of the glass door to file the report with one of the women who appeared to be training the other young lady who was working the front window. It is a little frustrating to see three or four employees assisting one person instead of opening more windows, but oh well.

I have never had that happen to me so I called a Vegas police officer I know & he said its actually somewhat common. I had to go to a police station w/all of my proof of car insurance and that the car is in fact mine etc. Then I spoke w someone and they said I had to go go a DMV wait over there and get an appointment etc. I guess I lucked out bc I waited in line for a bit w no appt and got a brand new license plate and was able to walk out w a new one. The lady was very helpful at the police dept so although it was a bad experience and it was a long day, it was a decent experience at the LVMP.
