I go there on MONDAY ask if I can have it they ask for ID I give my social and then a new lady comes out and says "we can't have things lying around the office" and then told me that I'd have to pick it up from impound after Mon... after asking for my social and me literally knowing the location of my wallet is in the back of the building. Gives me a number that doesn't work and connects to nobody and completely gave zero help to an easy fix situation. Shits ridiculous UPDATE: Called back to the place on Tuesday cause the lady said they should pick it up Monday and just simply asked if they knew when they're actually going to get it. This time the same lady that said they can't leave stuff lying around told me she has zero clue when the people actually come to pick up stuff! Nice! Wouldn't care except I genuinely am losing money everyday cause I can't work without my license. Appreciate the hard work these people do of sitting, talking and doing nothing when they could walk to the back of the department and solve this in 10 seconds.

I came in to get a copy of a traffic report and it was my closest station. Location is clean, staff were friendly and helpful, and I was in and out fairly fast, about 15 minutes. For those who are hearing impaired, the current setup with plastic barriers between you and staff are difficult to communicate between - there's no microphone or anything, you're just kind of shouting at each other. This is not easy or helpful when you're seated right next to someone else trying to do the same thing, and can hear their situation more easily than the person you're actually there to speak with.

I call in this crime at 6:15am. The local police showed up at my home at 4:30pm. The officer who came out to take my statement was not concern with solving or recovering my vehicle. During this time the officer was taking my statement. My credit card started popping up on my phone informing me there was activity at the local McDonald's near my home. I inform the offices of the information I am receiving. He informs me that he is not there for recovery only to take the report. Three days later I still have had no follow up. It is sad days residents of Las Vegas. Those who swear to Protect and Serve our community is something we as Las Vegas residents are not receiving. Shame, Shame, Shame!! We deserve better.

I witnessed this fur baby running on MLK and I tried to capture him. I stopped on MLK with other good samaritans trying to catch this guy. I almost lured him to my car with dog treats but he got spooked, crossed the median and got hit. Thankfully he ran off. I continued to follow the pooch and another gentleman that turned out to be an FBI agent helped me. Well this little pooch ran all the way to the substation through the gate. Thankfully we were allowed access to the back lot to try and catch him. Several others came out to help and he was finally captured. I pray the little guy wasn't hurt and that he was returned home. So the lady at the desk tells me I need to bring in proof. So a few weeks later after gathering all of the information, since this has been going on for several years I had to dig for a lot of the information. There is barely space to turn around your car in the lot. Literally, there are about 15 public parking spaces in front of the building. I came here at 3:30 pm on a Tuesday, and the lot was full. I ended up parking on the street and having to walk a couple blocks in a "great" neighborhood by myself. It took us 40 minutes just to get a number and another hour to see someone. When we did get our number, she just asked what we were there for, and I said "firearm registration" and she shortly handed me the form with no explanation. There were only 2 people working the windows and an entire lobby of people waiting. Additionally the window bays are very very close to the seating area, so you can hear everything that people are saying. My heart went out to the woman reporting a domestic violence situation. She was very emotional and everyone could clearly hear her personal details. When I got to the window, there was confusion about the registration. Because her previous lack of communication, we had improperly filled out the forms. The clerk had no problem showing me she was peeved with me. As a tax payer, I certainly appreciate the services they provide, but as a law abiding citizen who was trying to legally transfer a firearm registration for the first time, I would've liked a bit more communication and help.
