Gives me a number that doesn't work and connects to nobody and completely gave zero help to an easy fix situation. Shits ridiculous UPDATE: Called back to the place on Tuesday cause the lady said they should pick it up Monday and just simply asked if they knew when they're actually going to get it. This time the same lady that said they can't leave stuff lying around told me she has zero clue when the people actually come to pick up stuff! Nice! Wouldn't care except I genuinely am losing money everyday cause I can't work without my license. Appreciate the hard work these people do of sitting, talking and doing nothing when they could walk to the back of the department and solve this in 10 seconds.

I witnessed this fur baby running on MLK and I tried to capture him. I stopped on MLK with other good samaritans trying to catch this guy. I almost lured him to my car with dog treats but he got spooked, crossed the median and got hit. Thankfully he ran off. I continued to follow the pooch and another gentleman that turned out to be an FBI agent helped me. Well this little pooch ran all the way to the substation through the gate. Thankfully we were allowed access to the back lot to try and catch him. Several others came out to help and he was finally captured. I pray the little guy wasn't hurt and that he was returned home. We recall having seen the same showing of solidarity last year when another police officer fell in the line of duty. There is barely space to turn around your car in the lot. Literally, there are about 15 public parking spaces in front of the building. I came here at 3:30 pm on a Tuesday, and the lot was full. I ended up parking on the street and having to walk a couple blocks in a "great" neighborhood by myself. It took us 40 minutes just to get a number and another hour to see someone. When we did get our number, she just asked what we were there for, and I said "firearm registration" and she shortly handed me the form with no explanation. There were only 2 people working the windows and an entire lobby of people waiting. Additionally the window bays are very very close to the seating area, so you can hear everything that people are saying. My heart went out to the woman reporting a domestic violence situation. She was very emotional and everyone could clearly hear her personal details. When I got to the window, there was confusion about the registration. Because her previous lack of communication, we had improperly filled out the forms. The clerk had no problem showing me she was peeved with me. As a tax payer, I certainly appreciate the services they provide, but as a law abiding citizen who was trying to legally transfer a firearm registration for the first time, I would've liked a bit more communication and help.
