When I went in to check in, waited in a line for ten minutes or so (unfortunately there were some pretty loud talkers in line sharing way too much info which was kind of weird since the stuff they seemed to be proud of, I sure as heck would not boast about) but anyway when I got to the window I was told I couldn't check in for my appointment since it was 20 minutes too early and the system wouldn't accept me until I was 15 minutes before my appointment. Got to the end of the line, waited again saw a different person who was able to get me checked in..... Got my number, waited a few minutes and was out the door. Everyone was polite and professional... Just weird about the check in process.

I call in this crime at 6:15am. The local police showed up at my home at 4:30pm. The officer who came out to take my statement was not concern with solving or recovering my vehicle. During this time the officer was taking my statement. My credit card started popping up on my phone informing me there was activity at the local McDonald's near my home. I inform the offices of the information I am receiving. He informs me that he is not there for recovery only to take the report. Three days later I still have had no follow up. It is sad days residents of Las Vegas. Those who swear to Protect and Serve our community is something we as Las Vegas residents are not receiving. Shame, Shame, Shame!! We deserve better.

There is barely space to turn around your car in the lot. Literally, there are about 15 public parking spaces in front of the building. I came here at 3:30 pm on a Tuesday, and the lot was full. I ended up parking on the street and having to walk a couple blocks in a "great" neighborhood by myself. It took us 40 minutes just to get a number and another hour to see someone. When we did get our number, she just asked what we were there for, and I said "firearm registration" and she shortly handed me the form with no explanation. There were only 2 people working the windows and an entire lobby of people waiting. Additionally the window bays are very very close to the seating area, so you can hear everything that people are saying. My heart went out to the woman reporting a domestic violence situation. She was very emotional and everyone could clearly hear her personal details. When I got to the window, there was confusion about the registration. Because her previous lack of communication, we had improperly filled out the forms. The clerk had no problem showing me she was peeved with me. As a tax payer, I certainly appreciate the services they provide, but as a law abiding citizen who was trying to legally transfer a firearm registration for the first time, I would've liked a bit more communication and help.

As badge holders, we (in the organization) all must stop here every year before our birthdays to get new badges. On a bad day, the process will take much longer. Fortunately, I've had only good days here. There is one or two windows open. The process is pretty quick for me- just a few minutes waiting in line and a few minutes at the window. The person at the window is pleasant enough. This outpost at the airport is very small and is located on a side wing (if you don't know where it is, it's very easy to miss it). I am guessing police reports can be filed here, as well, as other matters.

So a few weeks later after gathering all of the information, since this has been going on for several years I had to dig for a lot of the information. I then come back in today, after waiting 45 minutes they tell me they will call me after 1:00 which was another 15 minutes. So after 1:00 they finally call me just to tell me I have to go to the FBI.
