    It was anything but an enchanted memory .We booked a family cruise for 13 people on Royal Caribbean…read more.We had many issues on board with false charges and denial of prepaid services. After returning home we informed enchanted memories and was told to fight all charges with our bank and RCC which we did and spent hours and hours building a case.Enchanted memories was unable to provide us with any receipts or documentation to help support our case and RCC would only provide a final onboard statement which was basically a grand total so all that was offered . We asked to meet with Vince to discuss this problem and instead Marie came, her suggestions actually worsened the problem , we asked for an additional meet to provide them more additional information that we have. Thay have basically blown us off. Their answer to a Customer who spent 30K through their business was to offer a $200 credit towards the next trip we book through them as if we would actually use them again. Do yourself a favor. Book a cruise yourself stay away from Enchanted memories

There were a lot of great things about the trip (and…read moreaccommodations) and a lot of things that were beyond what the travel agency had any control to fix (delayed flights). And then there were things I just didn't understand the rationale and (my fault) didn't question it. We also typically don't work with travel agencies so for my immediate family it was a very steep learning curve to know what questions to ask, (or when they needed to be informed of things if travel logistics changed.) Very thankful for the agency setting up the courier vans for our family of 8, this was something I definitely appreciated them coordinating a lot. The hotel choices overall were great (Catania and Taormina high marks). Hotel in Caltigirone was good too, great breakfast spread. The Positano hotel was ok, it advertised a fitness center but we were told none existed and the tennis court was overrun with weeds. In hindsight, if I fly with my elderly father again to Positano, we will need the agency (any agency) to understand hotels with lots of stairs are difficult - this was also something I didn't realize was even a problem until we were at the property overseas and also seeing during the trip how he was having a hard time with stairs. The private tour through Positano was **great**, the driver would drop us off, we would shop and eat then get back on the bus. The agency team and our in country contacts overall were really great to work with, very patient with my core family and very understanding and accommodating when we had to make adjustments to the scheduled plan (ie teenagers shouldn't go to a winery, cancelling a boat tour because it would be too much for my kids and father to endure, etc.). They were super on the spot finding my father, brother and SIL another hotel because the one that was initially booked didn't look like the pictures (and was extremely sketchy and my dad didn't feel comfortable being there. Also I heard the staff was extremely unhelpful). I would expect the agency's in country team view the properties themselves if it's going to be on the list of recommendations, and not go by the hotel website pictures. What I didn't appreciate was 3 flights to get to our destination from my point of origin. In my own searches we could have gotten there with two flights on my airline of choice and it baffles me why the agency made these choices. It was $2,200 more on an airline that was absolutely terrible and 3 of my flights were late throughout the trip. But again (my fault) I didn't look closely enough and didn't speak up until it was too late. Next time I will book my own flights. I didn't realize I needed to scrutinize the itinerary so much overall, but my experience travel agencies is very limited so this may be standard practice or expectation of customers. I don't know if this was in control of the agency or not but it seemed odd we had to fly to Rome in order to get to Naples from Catania. It might be there are no direct flights anywhere offered, however we lost half a day traveling and flight delays caused a lot of stress for my family because we were literally sprinting through Rome's airport to make our connecting flight. Overall, they were really great helping us with ground logistics, very patient with us, very accommodating when we had to change last minute and for the most part the hotels were solid choices. My 4 star ranking is due to the 3 flights to and from Europe. Next time I will book my own flights but would consider using them to book hotels and ground transport.

    I am tired of being ORDERED to 'pay tips and donations' every place we go and to every person we…read moremeet. We travelers are being ordered to pay tips on all included activities. Tour guide tells us how much we 'owe' and who to pay it to. Which is EVERYBODY. This is not acceptable behavior from tour guides or the Collette company. This is the second time in a row this has happened to me. Egypt 2024 and Thailand 2025. Tour guides constantly asking for money makes the entire tour stressful and uncomfortable. Tips are not OWED. It is inappropriate and rude to ASK for tips, much less to ask for 'prepayment of tips.' Collette needs to change these tactics.

I had to pay $260 for 2 bags In order to make our flight. They did not care, response was minimal and then they brushed off the responsibility onto the airline. I have yet to see this money returned. This is the first trip I have taken with a travel service, the cost is already outrageous and aren't we paying them for the assistance if we have travel concerns? I would hate to think how they would have been if my travel need was more urgent or serious. If possible, look for another travel service if you are going to travel. I would not have confidence in their ability to get you through your trip if a situation were to occur.

I just want other members to…read moreknow about the HORRIBLE experience & awful interactions I had yesterday with: dispatchers, tow truck drivers, nearly EVERYONE INVOLVED failed me- after my car broke down on RT 44, on the 295 bridge highway bypass. I called for a tow yesterday around 12:00 pm & TOLD THEM I WAS BROKEN DOWN ON A DANGEROUS ROAD, in a construction zone, on an OVERPASS, with 1 lane of travel, blocking another lane of travel, on the hottest day of the year & not only did they NOT DISPATCH FOR 45 minutes but they began an argument with me about where I was having my vehicle towed! Unbelievable right?!?! Well it gets worse!!! As a AAA member I am paying for the majority of that tow- mind you; they give you a courtesy 3 miles, but dispatchers argued with me for 20+ minutes that I can't have it towed to a private business. I told them multiple times it's NOT A PRIVATE BUSINESS & TO CONNECT me to a supervisor. After waiting on hold for 20M- which was not only UNPROFESSIONAL BUT JUST DOWNRIGHT UNSAFE! Also the business they were arguing with me about is MACERA STONE and my last name is MACERA- IMO- it could not be ANY MORE clear. Initially a supervisor argued with me but then she backpedaled & said it was a misunderstanding and that she was confused and that I COULD HAVE IT TOWED THERE. Which I already knew as I have had vehicles towed there!! Ok, so to make matters worse. I get a text saying your driver is abbot to arrive: from Dave's towing. I was there I flagged him down- he BACKED UP TO MY VEHICLE & THEN LEFT!!!!! I called Dave's Towing repeatedly- at first they denied that it was their driver & then I was told I am calling the police & was HUNG UP on! I then called AAA back to let them know my tow truck driver just TOOK OFF on me. I waited another 15M & finally was connected to someone- They said AAA was arriving in 5M, needless to say THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!! So I call back AGAIN, another 10M on HOLD. I asked what happened why did the tow truck guy pull up & then leave? NOBODY could answer this for me! I was told they are looking into it & that another driver was dispatched. When that same tow truck driver finally came BACK- he had to tow my car because there was an officer there! SO OVERALL IT TOOK NEARLY 2 HOURS TO GET TOWED OFF ROUTE 44 IN SMITHFIELD ON A BUSY SATURDAY AFTERNOON creating all types of traffic & blocking lanes of travel. I am lucky that I didn't get hit by a car or end up in the hospital for dehydration as my air conditioner wasn't working. Not only were the dispatchers extremely rude & argumentative but they were literally TELLING me they were NOT going to have my vehicle towed to location I chose & They should have NEVER WAITED 45M to dispatch the tow truck either THIS SHOULD HAVE IMMEDIATELY BEEN DONE.... SECONDLY why did the first tow truck driver pull up & THEN ABRUPTLY LEAVE???? VERY SHADY. Finally, why did it take nearly 2 hours for me to be towed when they claimed I was marked as a priority? I'm just glad that I didn't have my children with me- as this could have went so much WORSE- although I'm not sure how anything could have been worse then the service or lack of service I received yesterday!!!! I WILL be filing a formal complaint with member services on Monday & hopefully AAA can somehow rectify this- but if they choose not to- I will be cancelling our 4 person Family membership! Not only was it evident they do not CARE about their customers but the RUDE attitude by almost every dispatcher involved was unprofessional There were a few dispatchers that were really nice- such as the one who called to follow up afterwords & informed me how I could follow up and make a complaint. She was the only dispatcher I spoke to that offered compassion, kindness, and understanding regarding my situation! I admit I was also a bit testy and yelled on the phone to one of the dispatchers, but I was extremely frustrated and I did apologize to the woman I got loud with. L I'm literally in shock this happened, as I've really never had an "issue" with AAA- prior to today! But I am left traumatized by my experience yesterday & as young woman with children, If this was my daughter this had happened to- I would be Outraged!!
