I have written email communication with Brian in which I stated I was "good with what they had to offer" only because I was told that money needed to be put up front. At no point in my life have I ever been required to put money down up front for homeowners insurance, and this was presented to me as a standard requirement. This turned out to be misleading. The information I was given did not reflect normal industry practice, and it directly influenced my decision. As a result, I was placed into a policy and financial obligation that I did not knowingly or willingly agree to under accurate terms. Based on my experience, this company engages in actions behind the scenes that customers are not made aware of. The lack of transparency, the pressure to pay upfront, and the misrepresentation of what is "required" are unacceptable.
