Of course I wanted an air conditioner to last forever when I bought this home 3 years ago. AAA Cooling helped me make it last with attentive Maintainance over this time. Bummer, it stopped working and Ray Inclan was sent to assess my financial and heating and cooling comfort level. I couldn't have appreciated him more because he was direct and factual about what was possible. I was set up on my schedule to replace what needed to happen. Then, the best installers, Nate and Christian, showed up with perfect service and attention to improve my heating/cooling situation. Our thermostat was not working. The service person arrived in an hour. Very courteous and knowledgeable.

Tried to charge over $800 to replace 3 capacitors costing under $12 that I replaced in under 30 minutes. BEWARE! Gilbert, the technician, was very polite and professional. When I questioned why the EXTREMELY high cost to replace 3 very inexpensive parts that require about 15 minutes of labor (I have 2 air conditioners, so 30 minutes in total), he explained that they are in business and have overhead. Of course, all businesses have overhead, but that doesn't justify their practice. If they charged $100.00 per hour and a 1 hour minimum plus the cost of parts then the repair would come out to less than $140. I don't believe most people understand what a capacitor is and in my opinion, this industry grossly takes advantage of people's lack of knowledge. BEWARE! read more

I would like to share my experience of leaving AAA Cooling Specialists. I worked at AAA for a total of almost 3 years, I left and was asked to come back this past January. I was quickly back to having to much on my plate and physically feeling the anxiety of it. And after being asked to do a job of someone else because I was better at it even though i was weeks behind on my own work and nothing was taken off of me, it was my last straw. I told the owner I would give a month or 2 notice so that I could help train and update all processes. I did not want to leave them in a bad situation this is someone(the owner) I cared about and had love for. This person described me as the glue of the company, her right hand women....this is why this is so upsetting I gave blood, sweat and lots of tears for her and this company. They repay me by firing me with no notice out of spite and then are fighting my right to collect unemployment insurance. I ended up really sick in the hospital the following week and now have tons of medical bills. I plan to fight them but how cold hearted can you be... I do want to be clear this is nothing against the other employees, they are all amazing truly. read more

Poor customer service! First we have spent a lot of money with this company putting in a new A/C system. Less than three weeks ago they came out to check our system (cost $400). A/C went out today (110 degrees) they couldn't bother to come back for 3+ days? Called someone else and they came out the next day. I will NEVER use them again! read more

Over the past year I had repairs on my AC and informed to start planning for replacement. After calling the former Contractor, I somehow connected to AAACoolingAZ from Scottsdale. The Comfort Advisor, Ray, came for a scheduled appointment and after approx. 4 hours of conversation regarding the specifications of the Trane product I was sold on definitely this is the product desired. Ray was extremely professional with a no pressure sale. After a lengthy discussion and sold on the Trane product Ray left to discuss further if we could come to terms. A follow-up timely call as promised finalized the deal. Follow up with installation was faultless with exceeding expectations. Installation was timely, efficient and staff exceeded my expectation in timely completion of the job. Great to now have a Contractor I can depend on for many years. read more

I don't understand why this company has such a good rating. First, they could't figure out why the A/C stopped working intermittently. Because they couldn't figure it out, they replaced a thermostat and charged us over $250 for a $50 thermostat even though that didn't fix the problem. Then when we called on a weekend because it wasn't working again, they kept repeating that we would be charged extra to fix the problem even though we said they never fixed the problem we overpaid for. When they came to service it again, the unit was working but we told them we were still having the same problem. It wasn't working the previous night but it started working before they showed up. At that point, they said they still couldn't do anything because it was working. My husband's a contractor too. If somebody calls him about a problem, he fixes it. If it breaks again or is not done correctly, then he returns even on a weekend to fix the problem. In an effort to avoid another sleepless 90 degree night in the bedroom, we're switching companies and getting a new unit. read more

I have used AAA Cooling at my residence as well as at my rental property. They are the best in the business: always prompt, professional, courteous. They go the extra mile to make sure they provide quality service. I was having trouble with my AC in the middle of the summer -- they were able to come out within the hour and take care of the problem. Furthermore, they always answer their phone after hours so you get to talk to a live person when in need. They always follow up with you within 24 hours after the work is done,--which really shows how much they care and shows they take pride in their company. Last summer, I needed to replace the entire duct system at my rental property due to mold. They were honest and very thorough. They got the work done right away so that my tenants could move in. They even went out the following day to check everything and my tenants called me to sayhow courteous and professional everyone was. After I called them and left a message about my poor experience with the person who answered, someone called me back and explained that the person who had wrongfully worked on our A/C was new to the company and offered to make things right. I scheduled AAA Cooling Specialists to evaluate my ac and duct work. Once here the tech said he is not the one who specializes in duct work but he would have the office call me to schedule the person who is. I wait a few days and no call so I called and apparently someone dropped the ball and forgot about me. No problem so I schedule a new day for the duct guy to come out. About 1 hour prior to our scheduled appointment someone calls me and states that he is not the duct expert so he can't come out but he'd be happy to schedule another appointment with another guy. Who the hell does business like that? I set aside time in my schedule for appointments only to be canceled by poor planing and scheduling by a company whose business is to take care of customers. We are very grateful to AAA cooling for helping us. We had gotten in over our heads with a very inexperienced hvac company that literally duct tapped together 2 new units in our attic. Needless to say we had major problems on our hands after the install. We asked AAA cooling to come out and help us. They basically had to redo the installation and fix multiple leaks. We have since had some minor issues from the original instal and AAA cooling has helped us out as they have a 1 year labor warranty. As far as the way they conduct business here are a few of the highlights. They have an answering service for hours that they are not in the office so Wendy will call or text you when you are in need which is extremely reassuring in the dead of summer! The installation team was on time, wore booties in the house, respectful, fast, and cleaned up after themselves. Mike who was part of the installation team took before and after photos for us and explained what they were doing and why, which we really appreciated. Mike V. also came out to help us with diagnostics and repairs we felt that he was honest and knowledgable. We are pleased with their service and will use them again.
