This is our second transmission experience with Jerry's Transmissions. The first was a rebuild for…read moreour pickup truck years ago. Recently we had a new transmission installed into our Lexus. We were thrilled the final price came in far less than the estimate. They are a very friendly, diligent and honest group of people. Nina kept us informed along the way with frequent updates. We highly recommend them. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Last year I had to have my transmission rebuilt on my 2004 Lincoln Navigator after 185,000 miles…read more My mechanic Tom at Jacobs Auto Service recommended Jerry's if I wanted to make sure it was done right and to have someone stand behind their work. While they were in there they advised that 3 of 4 CV joints also needed to be replaced and bearings replaced so I had that taken care of because we were heading to FL once again. Well after about 8 months I put the transmission in reverse and "pow" the vehicle lurched and came to a stop. Problem was the left rear CV joint failed. I had it towed to Jerry's and they advised that the supplier replaced the cost of the CV and they would be obtaining another one from another supplier in another day. The next day Wayne called to say come pick up your vehicle it is all done. "Done under our one year warranty." Well, needless to say I could not be happier with the guys at Jerry's. If you you need transmission, transfer case, axle work I cannot recommend anyone better than Jerry's for fair price, efficient, timely and a firm that stands behind their warranty.

In the 5 years I've been here I've never been taken advantage of and when there was a mistake (which will happen) Chuck will make it right. Oil changes are very reasonably priced at ~$20. Chuck always gives a $10 discount if you bring in 2 can goods for food shelter. So very charitable cause and practice at this store. Other services from tire change to repairs are very reasonable. They have a $35/hour rate which is well within norm. What I like is when I look at the break out the time they spend and charge for is very realistic (I certainly could not do those jobs any faster). The staff there have been around for some time - they are not a bunch of young kids. The mechanics know what they are doing and I feel comfortable leaving high end luxury and sports cars with Chuck. Be sure to ask for Chuck and develop a relationship with him. You'll get great treatment.
