They were very kind and knowledgeable over the phone and came out the next day to give me a free estimate which is good. The next day, they arrived on time for the estimate (actually 5 min early which I didn't expect) and the gentlemen was very polite and gave us a great deal to restore both our front and back deck. I shopped around so I know what I wanted to pay. So we scheduled them to begin in a few days. A few days later on the agreed scheduled day they came out and pressure washed and cleaned the entire deck. When it dried, they came back to sand and then stain. They stained it with a beautiful rich cedar color! The quality of the work was fabulous! I can't believe how much of a difference it makes in our backyard! Anker completed a large, multi-stage office build-out involving a variety of trades. They got it all done exactly right without me having to be involved at all. They did everything they said they were going to do in the time they said they were going to take. That seems like it should be a baseline expectation for contractors, but in my experience, it's a rarity. The best part is that I didn't need to manage any part of the process. I just showed up every couple of days to see the progress. Not to generalize too much, but I have found that folks in construction and trade jobs can sometimes have challenges letting women lead. I didn't experience any of that with Amir or his team. They were totally level with me. If a decision point came up, instead of making an assumption (aka guessing) and rolling with it, Amir pushed the question to me and talked me through the options. Their attention to detail was on point. I'm really particular and notice every small detail. At the end of the day, there were no issues big or small. The entire crew presents themselves as clean and well-groomed. Maybe it shouldn't matter, but I tend to feel like the way you present yourself in the world says a lot about how you approach things in general. And they were professional. They had the right tools for the job. The music was at a good volume or folks wore headphones. Paper put down to protect the floors. The mess was cleaned up every day. Total pros. Lastly, I totally respect the way Amir runs a job site and his team more broadly. We help our clients with planning the technology part of their office build-outs, so I've seen a fair number of construction sites.
