During the recent windstorm we forgot to retract the awning and it was damaged. I first called the original installer, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The first thing they told us was that the damage wouldn't be covered because we didn't retract it during the wind storm, and the customer service was extremely rude. It also reminded me how difficult it was working with them in the first place, they gave us the runaround for almost 6 months before the original installation. After that, I reached out to Where Shade Is Made, and the difference was night and day. I spoke directly with the owner, who assured me I would get a call Monday morning to schedule the repair. Sure enough, Monday morning I received a call from Jimmy their GM, and from that point on everything was smooth and professional. By the very next day our shade was repaired and working perfectly again. Even better, Jimmy let us know that the repair didn't require as much work as originally expected, which actually made the final cost lower than the quote. AAA Awnings installed a freestanding Elitewood Ultra Lattice Patio Cover in our backyard to match our existing patio cover from 20 years ago. Mike was so helpful from start to finish. We had a lot of questions and he was very patient and worked with us on the design and planning including the wiring for the lights and electrical outlets and helped us come up with a solution to reinstall our old patio cover on newly poured concrete. His crew were extremely attentive to detail and we are very pleased with the result. My husband and I are very picky and we appreciated the level of service provided by AAA. I am including photos but as our project is not quite complete there are a couple of unfinished details currently shown. Will update later. I called around and got a few estimates to repair our awning from wind damage, the owner came out and gave us an estimate, very knowledgeable and friendly. I put it on the back burner for a couple months and when I called again to schedule the job, he said no problem and sent out the foreman to get the measurements and all details of the job, when Hal arrived very nice man and friendly, let me know about 2 weeks to get materials and scheduled a date at that time. He arrived on Saturday to do the job and was friendly, very knowledgeable and did an outstanding job. I am very very pleased with the workmanship and highly recoomend this company. Rick spent a lot of time with us to pick out the best choice of style and color for our rental property to cover two bay windows. The wait time for the finished product was expected and not unreasonable. (We had painting and gutters to go in before anyway!) Our little rental house got such a facelift from the awnings! About a year ago,our carport was hit by a drunk driver. We called several repair places, and they gave us ridiculous repair quotes. Then we contacted AAA Awnings, explained the situation they were happy to do the work for us but were booked solid for the next month. I then explained that it had to be completed within a week, per our management, and they managed to send someone out the next day and finished the repairs by noon. Great company! My outside patio cover looks awesome and blends perfectly into the house. The electrical hookups for the lights was very professional and very clean, very little visual impact. The quality of materials and expert installers is of a very high level. I interviewed five contractors for this job. The brother's owner came out, explained everything, had incredible knowledge and impressed me on a level much higher than all of his competitors. I highly recommend using AAA Awinings. He said the additional awnings either would not accomplish what I wanted to shade or would not look right in the location that I proposed. He went on to tell me what would work and look good. He coordinated with Faith, in the office, to make sure our fabric selection was available. Great job on my awning! It did take a little longer than I thought it should for an easy awning and graphics, but they said the graphics person was backed up. Maybe to make things run faster they should have two graphics people going at time. But my awning looks great and the people who handled my order were nice and good to work with.
