Figured I'd give this place a shot as it seems like a decent deal. Opted for the premier wash and added tire protectant and trunk vacuuming. Outside looks good but the inside does not. Definitely did not do a good job vacuuming even though I paid extra and the floor mats and shift console were soaking wet when I get in. I can do a better job myself for the $24 it cost. read more

I spent almost $25 for a car wash (inside and out) which is too me is expensive! Especially when I normally do it myself for for about $5 but I was in a pinch time wise and gave AAA a try. WOW!!! If you're looking for a quality car wash I would advise you to take your car somewhere other than AAA Auto Wash on Central Parkway! You'd be better off going to Mike's Car Wash. I won't even mention the poor job they did cleaning my car. My main complaint is the fact that my car went into the car wash without body damage and came out with a 6 inch crack on the paint and a crack on the trim. When I discussed this with the manager, Logan Roberts, he didn't even pretend to be concerned. He went through the motions to finally say the damage happened when I left the car wash. If the damage happened somewhere else i would have never went there to make a complaint. I will never spend another dollar at a AAA Auto Wash. $35.00 for the works. Even worse experience than last time, and this will be my last time. I've been going here for almost 40 years. It's convenient to my house but ever since AAA took over the place and fired all the good help, it's just more like a waste of time, and jeez how much time I spent in there today was outrageous. I won't bother to detail all the bad that was done but I had to beg to get my seat vacuumed, and when I asked to have the soaking wet tire dressing wiped dry so it wouldn't spray all over the clean paint, collecting dirt and not looking like it had even been cleaned by the time I got home, they guy was beside himself. These people all look they they were hired from a drug rehab and the manager just walking around texting on his phone for the entire HOUR I was there waiting. When I complained to him about some things he said he would make sure we both did a walk around and he would take care of anything I was not happy with. NOWHERE TO BE FOUND WHEN IT WAS TIME. Just disgraceful service. I can't say enough bad things about this place. It even look worse since AAA took over. Just don't go here and save yourself the aggravation and keep your money. read more

Used to love the Rainbow Carwash at this location... went there today and paid $22 for what I previously got for about $15. It sucked! The dudes wiping the door jams and rear hatch did their best to move as slowly as possible and touch as little as possible!! I was hoping for a clean up job on a new-to-me used car... but it didn't help much because I still had to go home and clean out all the nooks and cranny's. I visited on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, around 9:30 a.m. I was surprised that I had to pay outside at the booth and that the price for a full-service wash had jumped from $14 to $20. But I love it here, so I gladly paid. I can't imagine I will ever be back. I understand this is difficult physical work, and I have always appreciated the extra time and effort that the staff puts in. I have two young children, so my car is always dirty when I bring it in. I've been coming here for 20 years and have never had such a bad experience. One of my kids even said, "Mom, I thought you were going to the car wash today" later this same day. I vacuumed the car again and cleaned the smudgy streaks on the inside windows. I noticed a decline in quality when AAA took over Rainbow, but I can't believe how bad things have been in the 6 months since I was last here. What can we do to fix this? $20? Yikes. Don't waste your money here. Made a yelp account just to post a review of this place. Shouldn't be allowed to call itself a car wash. I was watching my parents' golden retrievers for the week so my car was covered in dog hair. I realize that. I paid for the most expensive car wash here and apologized to the cleaning guys that it was so dirty(they outright ignored me). Got back in my car after the wash and was confused because it was still covered in dog hair. It didn't even look like they touched anything with a vacuum except the front mats, which were notably spotless. I thought they had clearly just overlooked the rest of the car, but I'm a grad student so money is tight so I took it back around and explained what happened. The guy told me that "their vacuums can't do anything for dog hair". I almost laughed in his face. I pointed out that they'd managed to get the dog hair off the front rugs pretty nicely, and that golden retriever hair is about the easiest thing to vacuum. He just shrugged and pointed out that his manager was there if I wanted to talk to him. So I told the manager about it and he just stood there and said very slowly "well I don't know what you want me to do about it". Took my car to the self-serve car wash half a block away and vacuumed it out myself in about 2 minutes. read more

This used to be one of my favorites when I was in that corner of town, but today was my first visit since the transition/name change to AAA car wash. Two stars, and probably no return visits from me because: 1- Prices have risen substantially. $25 is pretty steep for a machine wash. 2- More disturbingly, after I noted that the back seat didn't look like it had been vacuumed, the response I got was, "But, Sir, understand that vacuuming doesn't pick up dog hair..." From a leather seat? Are you kidding? If they're going to charge that much, I'm allowed to expect better. In all fairness, the exterior was flawless, including my brake-dust encrusted wheels, and things went pretty quickly despite the long line. read more

I frequent this car wash every couple of weeks as its by my house. They generally do a good job however they have dropped the ball in this case. I just got an interior/exterior cleaning and immediately after noticed that they tore my window tinting on my rear window. When I called the gentleman said that it was probably the company who installed the tints fault and that they would do nothing about it. Hands down my favorite car wash in town! The classic wash is the way to go! For 17 dollars, they clean the inside and outside of your car. No one can beat that price! They also hand dry your car and hand clean your rims. If you're a AAA member, you get a pretty nice discount on top of that. I'm a millennial, so the best part about this place is the no tipping policy. I rarely carry cash! The service isn't compromised. Even know you don't tip, the staff is super friendly and works hard. The only downside to this place is the location. It's hard to get in and out of; especially during rush hour. During the week is best time to go, because this place gets jam packed on the weekends! Here the best of man and machine is combined.I take my long-suffering car here as a treat for her. In full disclosure I didn't actually end up getting my car washed. Maybe if I had I'd bump up the rating a bit. But the cause for the low rating is the terrible design of the facility. When you go in you have to decide what kind of service you want. They really push the services that include interior vacuum. I didn't need that, I just wanted an exterior wash. But as I sat in the line I saw that it curved all the way to the back and that the first station was the vacuum. So even though I didn't want it, I had to wait behind everyone else in line who did before I could get my car washed. At one point a gap opened and I called out to the attendant to ask if I could go straight to the wash as I didn't want a vacuum. No was the reply? And why not? I asked. Because then others would want to go straight in as well. Um, yeah. I'm sure you're right. So why not let them?? No answer. So I drove out of the line and went on my way. I may try them some time if they have no line, but there's not way I'm waiting in line for 30 minutes behind a dozen people getting their interiors serviced before I can get my wash. I have a new strange addiction: Jolly Rancher Fruit Chews (seriously, next time you're in UDF do yourself a solid and buy some). I have another new strange addiction: getting my car washed at Rainbow Car Wash. I don't know what it is but I love coming to this place. For the longest time I would go to DIY car washes where I'd pay a dollar to meticulously vacuum out my car and pay a few bucks more to wash the outside with the power hose and foamy brush. Thirty minutes and five dollars later I'd have a super clean ride. Granted I'd be soaking wet from the cursed hose but for a five spot, who could complain? Well for $15 Rainbow will have your ride looking factory new in less than ten minutes. First, some gents vacuum the inside and clean your floor mats. Then they send your car through an automatic soft cloth car wash while some blokes scour the inside of your automobile with Armor All and Windex. Last, the exterior is completely hand dried including the door jams and wheels by some kind chaps. Voila, brand new looking car! And no need to tip or feel pressured to tip because they will adamantly refuse. So take that tip money and head across the street to UDF to experience a fruit candy that is unparalleled in the candy world! Mikes will eventually put this place out of business! The last two time I went to AAA car wash I had issues. About a month ago they took my hitch off and put it on the back seat and I did not realize it until I took a turn and it slammed into the door. When I called and talked to the manager he said he would call me back and never did. I should have stopped going back, but this time I had a dollar in change missing. I hate that my first review on Yelp! is one that is less than positive, but I felt I had to say something to the masses. I had my car washed on 1/8/2012. I ordered the super premium package, expecting both the interior and exterior to be as clean as the first time I drove it off the lot. It was not. When I went to get into the car the back seats and passenger seat still had dirt on them. Totally unacceptable. I called over one of the attendants and he ended up taking care of the problem. I've used Rainbow in the past and have been happy with their service, but this recent inattention to detail is really disappointing. I thought this would be a great option as the live-in was great and I love AAA. Unfortunately, it was not a great experience... People were great and nice, but my car battery looked any different after the wash/cleaning... The windshield is covered in streaks and still had plenty of bug residue, the inside looks decently vacuumed but the center console looks like they just slapped water on it and called it a day?! This has been my carwash since I moved to Cincinnati. Even when I moved 20 miles away, I still came back to get my car washed. The last two times, it has been awful. The first time they obviously yanked out my front driver's side floor mat instead of disconnecting it from the the hook. Therefore I can't attach it anymore so it doesn't slide all over the place. Went back yesterday and they did a really inferior job on the inside. The front windows were so smeared that it made it hard to see when it got dark last night. I mentioned something to the guy about barely seeing him open the car door and do anything inside, and he looked at me as if I had 5 heads. I knew it wasn't the quality I had been used to, but didn't realize how bad it was until I was driving last night. May have to rethink who I give my business to. read more

I have been going to this car wash since I moved to the area, it was Rainbow Car Wash. Since AAA took over the service has gone down hill! I was there today paid for a premium car wash...when I got to the front they were not cleaning the mats (probably the dirtiest part of the inside). When I got to the cashier, who is the manager, her response was "the water is frozen". I asked why we were paying for a service we were not getting she just looked at me. Very rude and unprofessional! I will not be going back to this car wash, there are others in the area that will give you the service that you paid for. read more

Very upset with this car was experience... will not come here again... today I was treated poorly by both employee as well as the manager when my car was not cleaned or vacuumed well... manager basically threw me off the property when I had a complaint... I was in tears ... paid 25.00 for a car wash and my windows on new BMW were not wipers , dirty inside , terrible vacuum job as usual . 10the time coming and same bad job . Manager was not supportive when I told him his employee was rude to me and said I could not wipe the inside of my car on the property... yet they wouldn't clean it ! I asked for a refund since services were NOT RENDERED and I was asked to leave . I'll be contacting the corporate with the full story and details as well I'll be disputing the charge with my bank . I have been going to AAA Auto Wash (formerly Rainbow) for 11+ years because it was a reliable place to get my car cleaned. I, unfortunately, will not be returning after last Friday's visit. I spent $20 and the car is not noticeably cleaner than when I arrived. I could tell where they had and hadn't even touched wiping down or vacuuming the inside of my car. Without a doubt this is the best carwash I have seen in Cincinnati. Pros: 1) Quick yet through, they vaccum the car from the inside, wife down the dashes, wash your floor boards and throw out any trash you have in the car. I was skeptical about going here because of the awful reviews, but I'm so glad I did. My car was in serious need of cleaning inside and out. They took extra time vacuuming it before sending it through the wash and I watched as the sprayed down all the inside of the car and cleaned it off. Is it perfect? No, my car truly needs to be detailed, but they made it look almost like a new car- far better than I expected possible. I wish they accepted tips because all of these men deserved a big one! When the family owned this car wash it was the best around. I would go out of my way to use them. Since AAA bought it the quality has steadily decreased. I gave it a number of tries and no better. The windows are washed with dirty towels so I have had to go home and re do them. The outside was dirty around the license and handles due to rushing to get done. This was more than once. My favorite place to get my car washed. Sure, there is always a line, but that's usually a sign of a place in demand. Rainbow is located next to Rally's at the intersection of Madison and Red Bank. What I like about Rainbow? 1) Thorough vacuuming: they always remove the floor mats and get under the seat. 2) Clean interior windows: I use a suction cup to attach my GPS to the window. The always get the windshield clean after I remove the cradle. 3) No tipping: The price you pay is ALL you pay. 4) Coupons: You get a $2 off coupon every time you wash. If you have a manual transmission do not take it to AAA. Most of the workers could not drive it. The first worker stalled multiple times and then engaged the emergency brake. The worker that knew how to drive it pulled it up the hill with the emergency brake on dragging my tires, and no one seemed to care. If you want your car washed by professionals, take it somewhere else. If you want your car to get damaged, take it to AAA.
