machines do 80% of the car washing but the workers cannot get the other 20% of car washing done in an acceptable manner. for my $32 wash they failed to remove and properly wash the floor mats leaving salt covering the floor mats, did not properly vacuum, failed to clean the windshield, wash dirt off the suv back gate, and the workers refused to do anything to correct the failures. once i demanded the attention of the supervisor, he, doing the work himself, corrected the deficiencies'. i spent a lot of time spending my $32.00 on a bad result and experience. read more

Seriously! 40 minutes to wait in line to get a simple car wash. I don't know what happened here. The previous business was on top of it. Great workers and fast service....Not anymore. They need to rework something here and get the line moving. It only takes a minute for the car to go through the actual wash. I sat and watched some guy take five minutes emptying out his truck full of tennis balls so it could be vacuumed out. Something has gone horribly wrong at this car wash. I have been an occasional customer for years, but today's visit felt like I stepped through a mirror. Triple A still lists this car wash on their website, so I can't blame new management, but: * It's hard to tell whether they are open, except for the presence or absence of bored employees holding rags, sitting at the car exit. * They no longer have a sign saying what they sell or how much it costs. You have to ask to see it on a sheet of paper, which does not have totals if you want internal cleaning, which I desperately needed. * No one greets you until you have pulled forward into their vacuum area -- even if you stop for a while at the garbage can and empty the debris from your car, which I did. Not being greeted means that when you get to the vacuums, you still have no idea whether they are open - but if they are, you have committed without knowing what they offer or how much it costs. Turning around here would be embarrassing and difficult. * The costs are much higher in spite of the worse service. I used to pay roughly $24 for a mid-tier in-and-out clean -- I get the cheapest one that comes with an undercarriage wash and an interior vacuum -- but this time it was roughly $40. * They have no register, and you pay before you get out of your car. This would be fine (if a bit scary, because it seems like a random group of workers took over the car wash) except I like to tip, and I *don't* want to tip before I see the car clean. Or in this case, "clean." One cannot get change for a tip. Turns out they didn't deserve it anyway. * Only the manager really knows how to drive a stick shift. * When you give them your car, they will tell you that one worker can drive it, and not to worry, to go on in. But if you stay to watch, to make sure nobody strips your gears, the unlucky fellow who would otherwise be stripping them sees you watching and surrenders the car back to you to drive onto the wheel-catch. Nobody explains what to aim for; you just have to figure out that two left wheels need to go in the slot, and then get out with the car running and in neutral. And if you look worried (after the car drifts backwards out of the slot because it is, after all, a stick shift in neutral) they'll say something comforting like, "That always happens! I don't know why." And you will have to drive it back on. * Nobody will be ready to catch the soon-to-be freely drifting stick-shift when it comes out. In fact, there will be cars in its direct path. But the guys with the rags will at least run and fetch the manager, once you alert them to the potential danger, and the manager will prevent your car from careening freely into the somewhat clean cars in front of it. * The rag guys will look at at the aphid goo still all over your car and the $20 bill that you have tried repeatedly to make change for, and (probably assuming you aren't willing to give them $20, and you shouldn't be) make a short display of improving the state of your car, then walk away from it smiling and leaving all the doors and the glove box open. * Whatever chemical ends up on your pedals/ shoes will be caustic and slippery. It will be almost impossible to drive without either wiping them off (smarter than what I did) or taking off the clutch foot's shoe (what I did). AAA really seems to have made an improvement since they took over the Parkway Auto Wash. Eliminating the awkward tip situation makes too much sense. They've also simplified the entry procedure, clarified the pricing, and there's a discount for AAA members. The cars could be more thoroughly cleaned, but that's always the case when you choose an auto wash over doing it by hand. This is my preferred Auto Wash location. read more

This has been my go-to car wash for more than 10 years. Ever since AAA took it over, things have deteriorated. The staff is unhappy and therefore doing a crappy job. Got another bad detailing today and went home to rewash the car myself. Going to have to find another carwash. read more

This AAA Auto Wash is a few doors down from Frisch's. You wait in line in your vehicle until it's your turn. Then you go inside and wait. They vacuum the inside, before driving it through the car wash. I paid $15 for an exterior wash as well as interior wipe down and vacuum. The guys were fast. I watched an attendant go to a car that had just came out of the wash and mine had been sitting for 10 minutes, running, with no one taking care of it. Another attendant came and sat down so I asked why that was happening and he shrugged his shoulders as if he didn't care when I paid for my car to be taken care of and not for his break. I was furious and I will never go back and as a long standing AAA member I most certainly report this business that has their name attached and somebody needs to tell those employees that people like me pay their wages read more

I'm only giving it two stars because ONE of the employees was nice to me. I heard great things about this place so I was excited to give it a try. I got the "Plus" package. Car wash was fine, but they didn't do half the things I paid for. Vacuuming the inside of the car (done by the employees) was included in the list of services included with what I paid for. Below you will see pictures of AFTER they "vacuumed". I am disappointed I would've rather gone somewhere else and paid eight bucks for a car wash and vacuumed it myself. This use to be Parkway Auto Wash and it was the best in town. Now that it's run by AAA it's the absolute worst. No pre-spray for the front of car ever. Staff are just not engaged in what they do. The only reason I gave it 1 star is because when I need a wash it's better than nothing. read more

Exterior car wash by machine - I was happy with these results. Interior (obviously) done by hand. I've come here 3 times (because I believe in 2nd and 3rd chances) but each time, the interior was barely cleaned/vacuumed, very obvious areas that needed cleaning in NOT hard to reach areas were left without being wiped. It costs an extra $2 to vacuum the trunk. Cashier was incompetent and rude. AAA should re-evaluate whether they want their name associated with this location. read more

Horrible carwash. The car was not vacuumed well. The hatch was lifted and the back was not vacuumed out. My tires were not shined, the rags left red lint all over my car. The rubber mats were hosed off and put back in the car soaking wet. No attempt at all to get the excess water off. The employees are lazy. Parkway Auto Wash was so much better. Don't take a full size truck here and expect all the soap to come off. Ask for it to be rinsed, expect a fight and to be told it's not soap, and if it is, soap isn't bad if it dries on your truck. Probably fine for cars, not recommended for trucks. read more

When this was Parkway Auto Wash, it was a great place. You were allowed to tip, which I believe made everyone work a bit more earnestly and they were nicer. AAA doesn't allow tipping, and the few times I've been there I have been so disappointed. The inside windshield is nowhere near as clean as it used to be with Parkway people. In fact, this time I don't even think they washed it. There is no attention to detail like before. The kicker was, when I went to put something in my back seat a few days after the visit, I discovered that the back seat had not been vacuumed at all. I know this because my grandkids had eaten a bunch of chips back there and had crumbs all over the seat. The crumbs are still there. $24 later ...EVERY. SINGLE. CRUMB. They weren't busy the last time I visited but somehow, my car (the first in line) came through the wash after a 6 to 8 other cars did. They did a sloppy job of drying off my car and, after driving a mile or so, my car was dotted with thousands of water spots. The interior floor mats still looked pretty dirty and were not anchored in place after they "cleaned" them. Not up to their usual standards. read more

It's extremely overpriced but they usually do a good job. I go cause it's closest to my house and my huskys hair gets everywhere so I get it cleaned and vacuumed at least once a week. They updated some of the wash equipment when AAA bought it which is nice. Wish the prices were cheaper. read more

Good car wash, but i will never be back. One of the two guys vacuuming stole wireless headphones from my center console. I spoke to a manager when i noticed the next morning but he was completely useless. Im sure its not the first time they've been accused. A bunch of thieves and terrible management.
