Is this the best car wash in the city of Cincinnati? In my experience, yes. Purchasing a new car last year, I took some time to try out the various car washes located around the city. My general preference is for the cost effectiveness of automated washing with hand dry for that personal touch. Howdy delivers both. Howdy has a variety of prices accommodating practically any type of wash. Interior or not. Exterior with or without hand dry. They even offer some custom detail stuff. A basic full wash with interior vacuum and exterior hand dry runs you around $15. In my experience, this seems like a pretty good value. You are usually in and out within 15 to 25 minutes depending on how busy they are. Cash or credit is accepted and they often give you coupons for your next visit. One of the best things about Howdy is that is it actually owned by a couple of police (or ex... I forget) officers who purchased Howdy as a place to employ ex-cons to give them a chance to get back on their feet. The gentlemen who I have interacted with have been nothing but friendly and appreciative of my patronage and work hard to deliver a quality service and experience. In the era of the crappy drive-through, gas station car wash, Howdy is a nice throwback that provides a human service touch with a speedy result. Overall the car was clean. They are slow. I do not like that the put your mats on top of the car and windshield. Doing this has the potential to scratch your glass as well as your paint. The cashier had as much personality as the towels being used to dry the cars. I also didn't like the fact that I wasn't able to add the tip to my card purchase. read more

I will never go to this carwash again, ever, two of the employees were about to fight and calling each other absured names right in front of clients and one of them was detailing my car, that was very unprofessional, the only good thing that came out was that they had did an very good job on my car, no complaints there, but otherwise I won't return there. read more

Call ahead! They are only open "weather permitting". I'm not sure what that means in Cincinnati given the weather is crap here most of there year. Howdy was closed today because it was cloudy. Fyi, there was a long line and the register drawer was full today at the AAA Auto Wash. read more

Good full service car wash, but SKANKY customer waiting area. When I came in the hallway door, an ultra-violent profanity laced movie was blaring in the overhead video system in the hallway. Screams machine gun fire, bloody bodies and curse words were my first treat when the door opened. Don't bring your kids. Who had the idea to spend money and time installing an overhead multimedia system, but not to buy decent seating? It features 3 old chairs that look like they did duty in a high school dining hall. Odd. Customers mostly stand by the doors and windows watching their cars in the line, eager to get out of there. Listen, Howdy people; the customer waiting area is a MAJOR part of what you are providing for the dollars we pay. I won't be back. Parkway has a much nicer customer treatment experience, and they wash the cars just as clean. read more

They were very busy the day that I went, so service was slow. Guys weren't exactly hustling. My car didn't look very clean when he was finished. Had to go home and touch it up. Kind of disappointed. This is simply the best carwash I have ever been to! Only $13 and my car looks phenomenonal. They clean the rims perfectly, outside is spotless, inside vaccuumed, and they windex the windows on the indside and outside. Not to mention they gave me complementary armorall on the tires. Yesterday after searching and reading reviews I called Howdy Car Wash to make an appointment for an Interior Detailing. I was told that it would take two hours. After 2 1/2 hours, I was told that my car was finished. After paying $100.00 and a $10.00 tip, I had to leave. I had no time to check before I left. When I got home and had to time to inspect, I took picture after picture of where there had been no Detailing cleaning. I do not think that he even opened the glovebox. I had completely emptied the car so that all of the surfaces were free of clutter. I sent an email to Howdy Car Wash yesterday asking for a refund. I have not heard back. read more

A neighbor recommended this car wash, so I gave it a try for the first wash of my brand new subaru. They vacuumed, washed my mats, ran the car through the automatic carwash, and then spent a good 5 to 10 minutes with two guys handwashing the inside and outside. All at a very reasonable price of around $13 (plus tip). They also gave coupons for future washes as well as a loyalty card (buy 6, get 1 free). I don't usually bother with car washing, but the ease, price and result will have me back. read more

I went to this car wash on Mother's Day last month (due to some of the good reviews), and because my regular car wash closed early. This again was in May 2017. I have a Hyundai Accent. The emblem that reads "ACCENT" on the back dissolved off of my car after this car wash. I was soooo mad. Dissolved. It was a nice silver emblem. Imagine the emblem stating the model of your car being dissolved by some harsh chemical. I never even heard of that happening. I contacted the car wash. Left 2 messages - sent 1 email with pictures - and they never replied. Extremely unprofessional. That was the most damage the car had ever substained. DO - NOT - GO - HERE! EVER! read more
