The sun is out + the snow is melting = car wash! ThIS is my local go to. From the start to finish what I love most about this place is the courtesy employees. I also appreciate they have people who dry my car after it goes through the machine wash. The only reasons I've not rated this place 4+ is due to the following: 1) the line to get in can be long, but I know they are making best use of the property they have. Their prices make up for the ease of getting in on a high demand day. 2) although they vacuum the inside I would like the option of them wiping the inside too. Instead, I bring my own cleaner and wipe the car down while I listen to my tunes and wait in line for my turn. 3) the greatest area they can improve is the vacuuming of the interior. I've been getting my cars washed here for 30+yrs. I hadn't been back in a while and I don't think I'm going back. This used to be the model of efficiency and quality. Great service, reasonable price, and I'd come out feeling my car was as clean as it could be. Today it was the opposite of that. Cars were being cleaned out of order, it felt like the staff didn't know what was going on, and clearly they didn't really care. When I got my car back the interior vacuuming was haphazard at best. The fact that it was the first really gorgeous weekend day in months and it wasn't super busy should have been an indication. Not sure that I'll be going back. It's too bad. Well after my last trip October 15th I decided to find another facility but I'm a slow learner, so I went again today. Pulled into the lot at 12:49 pm and drove off at 1:33 and yet again when I pulled in there were only 5 cars in line. It took them 44 minutes to wash 5 cars. The guy taking the credit cards was also the guy vacuuming the cars. All the workers were working hard. When will AAA learn about customer service and satisfaction!! So sad. read more

Many years since I have been there and went with great expectations! All was as bad or worse than I experienced a few years ago! When You get into car and windows are still wet ( 3 out 4) and you need to ask attendant to dry door sills and window and wipe off dirt on door when they say they are finished, very disappointing! I am on walker, and when I get in car, passenger door is open, with no one around to close; I get my walker and proceed around car to close. I have been going regularly to this car wash for the Plus service for at least over a year and can't say enough good things about the excellent service provided. The employees are very friendly from the person who checks you in at the booth outside to the people providing the car wash service. I have NEVER been unhappy with the job done. read more

The level of service at this carwash isn't the same as it was under Rainbow. It is $37 to have your vehicle completely cleaned inside and out. I have been disappointed with the service the past three times I have been there. When I think of AAA I think quality. Quality is not valued at this carwash. AAA should let this acquisition go. im at the aaa car wash off of Redbank. as I drove up the 2 women were ill mannered, unprofessional and just seemed mean. The payment is now outside. the men at the vacuum station were professional and courteous which negated some of the animosity the women showed. The one person who gave me my ticket after the drying process was courteous as well. Being met by hostile workers at the beginning was extremely off puttIng. They didn't clean tires (paid for tire cleaning), trunk was still dirty (paid to have trunk vacuumed), inside was not wiped down at all (paid for that), back seat not vacuumed (paid for that). I went to AAA car wash last Friday. When I gave my car to the carwash worker to go into the carwash and when it came out of the carwash I noticed there was a scratch on the driver's side lower panel. I asked to speak to the manager and explain to him that the scratch wasn't there when I brought it to the carwash. I even asked him to talk to their employee that drove my car into the carwash that I t wasn't a scratch on the car. He took a picture of the car and wrote a report on a form. Too he stated that on Monday someone from the carwash or the insurance company would contact me. I waited from someone to call but they didn't. So I waited till Wednesday to call. I talked to another manager about the situation. And he explained to me that he wasn't going to call the insurance company and that they didn't cause the scratch on my car. I then asked him did he talk to his employees about it and he told me it doesn't matter. That he wasn't going to call period. Then I asked him let the insurance company decide and he said no. Since telling people about this encounter with AAA. They had multiple complaints about the car wash. I'm seeking legal advice on how to move forward with this. I will never go to any AAA carwash in the city based on the conduct this one on Madison road. read more

One star for the exterior wash, which was adequate. I paid an additional $14 for interior cleaning. Now I don't expect detailing, just basic cleaning. When I got back to my car, there were muddy paw prints on my leather seats, dashboard, and console. The windshield was not clean on the inside. Cup holders, around the gear shift, and the radio panel were not clean. Clearly, the rear seats weren't touched. Frankly, I'm not exactly sure what they did, other than leave dirty car rags in my back seat. I had 30 minutes before an appointment and wanted the interior of my car vacuumed and wiped down. I tried engaging the woman taking money but she was not at all friendly - the most she would say when I was trying to ask her about the different services was to look on the right of the card. What I understood was that it would be an additional $14 if I wanted the inside cleaned. I would be surprised if the vacuum even had suction as the carpet and mats don't look different and they didn't wipe the console - or around the gear shift. This is my favorite place to take my car in the whole city. The people inside are helpful, the car wash is thorough, and the prices are great (if you're a AAA member) and alright if you're not. My car always looks great coming out of here. And the people don't accept tips, which takes some pressure off. read more

I had my vehicle cleaned today, and opted for the premier plus package (approx $29) I asked if the interior would be cleaned/wiped down and was told yes, along with door jams. This service included an interior vacuum. When I received the car, it appeared they may have wiped the drivers side, but was still full of dust/dirt etc. when getting home, the vacuum clearly didn't get to the back seat and nor lift gate area. I had to re-clean the interior. Was not pleased at all with the inside, and wasn't going back with gas at $5+/gallon. On a good note, the exterior was excellent. Would recommend exterior service anytime, but not interior service. read more

Just had my convertible detailed a few weeks ago, but since it was sitting outside I ran it through the car wash to spiffy things up. Big mistake! The newly painted top part of the bumper now has a 10" crack in the paint. Also they broke off my cellular antenna !! DO NOT RECOMMEND !! Rainbow a classic car wash on the east side of Cincinnati. I've had my car washed here a few times a year since I moved to town in 2004. They always greet you with a warm smile when you arrive, but note there are lines on most weekends, especially holiday weekends. They do an excellent job on the outside of the car, wiping everything down and your car appears shiny & new. My only compliant is on the inside and vacuuming, they're good at removing the mats & they will clean any rubber mat, but I've had to ask them a few times to vacuum in basic areas around the driver's seat which should be customary for every customer. I know due to the line they can be in a rush, but every car should be cleaned thoroughly each time. read more

My Weather Tech mats were wet and seemed clean only to then still look dirty once dry. They didn't vacuum around my cup holders at all. Worst of all, my car now smells like smoke from whom ever was inside cleaning it. To top it all off, as I'm walking to my car, one of the guys says "you know we take tips boss?" After sitting for four months while I was away, my car had gotten pretty dirty. Not to mention that before that I hadn't cleaned the inside or the outside for a while. I decided to take the car to the Rainbow Car Wash to get it super cleaned! The Rainbow Car Wash has two cleaning packages to choose from. The Works is pretty self explanatory, they clean the seats, the floors, the windows inside and out, the dashboard, the cupholders, and everything on the outside including the tires. They also put wax and other such chemicals on the car. They also have a Super Wash package which is almost all that stuff. There is also an ala carte menu where you can choose specific things to be done to the car. First the car gets vacuumed as you step out of it. Then it gets driven onto the tracks and goes through their indoor washing machine system. You can walk down a hallway with windows and watch your car go through. They have rainbow colored signs that light up to tell you what step your car is at. I loved it! Then you pay at the end of the hallway. When my car came out of the car wash, there were three guys inside of it doing the inside windows. Even the guy that was parking the car was spraying while he parked it! Pretty efficient! Afterwards I was SO pleased with how my car looked. It was a different color with all the dirt gone! Everything inside was so clean and smelled so nice! read more

This place does a wonderful job by combining solid service and a wonderful cleaning. As you drive in, you are greeted by a worker who will record your order and walk you through each of the options. As you continue to drive, you hand your vehicle over to the sweeper employees who thoroughly clean the interior of your car. The wash itself is neat because you walk into this corridor and can walk/follow along as your car is washed. At the conclusion, another employee jumps in and cleans the inside glass of your car. Finally, employees are on hand to hand dry the car. This place flat out does a tremendous job and the price is right. They are friendly and do not accept TIPs. This place has gone down hill recently. My husband took my car to be washed this morning and I just got in my vehicle and noticed the workers didn't even clean my cup holders and center console. I took everything out of my car to make it easy for the workers to clean well and they still took the lazy route. This is the third time in a row the staff has half-assed their job.
