You have to be a really special individual to ignore a customer over 6 dollars. You sent me one key, I paid for one key. Accused me of getting two as my witness watched me open the pack with one key in it. You lost a customer over 6 dollars. I own a business and I would never ever treat my customers this way. Childish and immature. Also says a lot about your character. That six dollars is nothing to you and you were willing to lose a great customer. You sent one key, if you think me being a business owner would lie about 6 dollars you are definitely missing some screws. I would be embarrassed treating someone like that, especially a long standing customer of mine. Shameful . Definitely got our money's worth with the gentleman that came our locks. We had him come by to change the lock for our front door as we had just moved into a new home. Upon him taking apart the lock to re-key it, he noticed that it was a five pin lock, but, it only had one pin in the lock. That was a huge problem, but he added the other four pins that were missing, free of charge! We were chatting with him as well about two other locks for our Pella doorwalls that we did not receive keys for and were initially going to call the manufacturer to get keys made for them. He said, from past experience, that they run you in circles and have no way of getting you replacement keys for your doorwalls. So, he was able to do those two as well for a minimized charge because they were smaller locks. All in all, it was a great experience and we learned some cool facts about locks along the way. I needed an old file cabinet unlocked ASAP because I was cleaning out my mom's house after she passed away and needed to empty it for the new owners. Of course, the key was nowhere to be found. As many have noted, Rocky is great! We called to set up a time and he gave us a recommendation on smart locks to buy. Just said get them at Lowe's and I'll install. Perfect! He also re-keyed our new house and came up with a great solution for a lock he couldn't pick - took the knob from a less-trafficked door (old, shut up staircase) and replaced a knob we had on our garage. He had already recommended we install keyless knobs to go with the smart locks, so said to just grab one more for the staircase door. Prices were solid. Excellent experience last week. Saw the yelp reviews and reached out. Hugh responded very quickly. We discussed a few options for a new smart lock. He had great advice and a particular model. I ordered it from amazon and as soon as it arrived, reached out and he was there within 2-3 days. Did all the work, moved a lock from from to back, and had suggestions on moving it vs buying a new one, which saved us some money. Definitely recommend. I had a really great experience with AAA Absolute Locksmiths and I would highly recommend them for any lock and key issues. Showing up before my scheduled time, they had all the necessary tools to fix our four locks. Our front door had been given a horrible looking brass lock, but AAA Absolute recommended and installed a bronze lock that blended in with the door and other fixtures. Our side door lock wasn't working as a lock should, but we were able to put in another deadbolt and fix the issue. Everything was cleaned and tidy before the locksmith left, and I was left with a new set of keys. Although it seemed like an easy new key issue, it ended up being more difficult, but AAA Absolute was up for the challenge. First yelp post, just because I was inspired by Rocky! His 5 star rating after so many reviews is really a testament to his honesty and reliability. We had to get the locks changed for our new home, and called around for quotes. Rocky responded promptly with an incredibly fair price. He was professional, punctual, friendly, and efficient. He was able to accommodate me the same day. He even came up with a suggestion that saved us some cash and hassle. In the end I got more service for better value than I would have from anyone else (I called a lot of places). As a cautionary tale, I did experience another vendor who quoted me a lower rate but showed up and asked for double (which was more than any other quote I had gathered). When I refused, that vendor even tried to have me pay a house call fee (which I adamantly refused). Luckily I didn't have an emergency and was able to find Rocky. Know there are some unscrupulous locksmith businesses out there, but Rocky will treat you fairly even if you have an emergency! read more

He seemed ok on the phone, and changed the locks ok, BUT: he arrived a few minutes late for an appt... which is not a huge deal... but then, the thing that bothered me most is that he quoted one price on the phone and then charged another (higher) at the site... it was the basic visit charge he raised.... not the specific re-keying charge... and we were kind of stuck... needing it done right then.
