When my dad got there it turned out a plug just needed to be removed/drained which was causing the sensor on his truck to act up... Marvin was honest and just charged him the labor fee... Saving him thousands! I had water damage to my car and was scared I was going to pay thousands for repairs on my car too but my dad told me to drop my car off at West Ave Auto. They were honest right away. Didn't try to play off the fact my car could have needed huge repairs. Instead reassured me the damage was minor and they were even able to bend back a part instead of telling me to replace the whole thing. In addition, I knew I needed other work done so gladly gave my business to them. My car was also done the same day! Saving me the hassle of having to worry about paying for a rental and unnecessary stress. On top of it, Marvin remembered my dad, his name and truck. Which is very cool considering how many people I'm sure he probably sees on a day-to-day basis. Honesty and integrity go a long way! They are definitely the Lexus/Toyota experts although they have done equally amazing work on Jeeps, Infinity's and Cadillacs for me. Mike and his team have always served me well. Update on our situation: After diagnosing the car with the…read more"car ears", we were told we would need to get our right wheel bearing replaced and Raul agreed to give us a discounted rate after my father-in-law went in to talk to him. We were also (finally and thankfully) given a loner car. After switching out the right wheel bearing, we were told that it was actually the left wheel bearing that needed to be switched out. After replacing both, they came back saying the creaking was still happening. This took them 2-3 days. Just this morning, Raul called with an update saying it was the shoe brakes and it was related to the initial job they had done. We got our car back, and it is finally not creaking! We were also not charged for any of the extra work they did on our vehicle. I appreciate them taking the time to fix our car and not charging us any extra money. I am updating my 1 star review to a 3 star review. I just wish our experience was smoother, and our concerns were better heard the first time around.
