He knows all about the inherent factory defects and poor/weak designs that come on new cars and he knows how to correct all that. If you just need a part for the transmission, he will just replace the part. If you need a full rebuild, he will not mince words, but he WILL take the time to absolutely explain every little detail of why it failed and how he is going to fix it. Then again he said it was ready it was back in the shop 2 days later. This happened 7 to 8 times each time keeping the car for 2 weeks or more. I ended taking the car to the dealership and they said the parts installed were not for my vehicle. The dealership asked if i could find out what part #'s were used. J. V. gave us the run around again saying he used this store, or this dealership. I called and they said they had no record of any transmission parts bought on the dates that was given. I had to pay the dealership another $2500. When I told J.V. I wanted my money back he said I should have given him a chance to work in the vehicle. I told him I had given him 8 chances he he didn't get it right. Again he gave us the run around on giving our money back. In the end I only got close to $400 back. The owner, Juan Vega, diagnosed it as a valve body and conductor plate failure and recommended a full transmission rebuild to prevent further problems. He quoted a 1-week turnaround and required a $1,925 deposit for parts -- which I paid (proof attached), with the remainder due upon completion. By July 7th -- three weeks past the promised completion date -- the truck was still not ready. Every time I called, I was told it would be done "tomorrow," or that a part was missing. These were blatant lies. Frustrated, we began recording our conversations to hold Juan accountable. By July 14th -- nearly a month later -- the truck still wasn't fixed. We told Juan to either finish the job or return the truck so we could take it elsewhere. He promised it would be ready the next day. On July 21st, after Juan again claimed the truck would be ready, my wife and I arrived at the shop to find him absent, the truck on a lift, and blocked in. His employees pretended not to know his whereabouts or have a way to reach him. We had to involve the police to even get access to our vehicle. Only after police arrived did they lower the truck -- and we discovered the transmission was in pieces and dumped in the bed. After six weeks and $1,925, I was left with an unusable truck and a disassembled transmission. DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP.

It was until a few months ago i trusted him to repair my my ls430. It was super expensive but I trusted him. You can do the math, I zelled him an extra $1000 as cashApp wouldn't let me send anymore because the amount of money I was sending him was too much in a short time(together including the zelle transfer i spent over $6000). And my experience has been really awful. After all that money my car's main issues haven't been fixed. He swears that the main issues(camshaft position sensor didn't turn back on until the day I got it back). I don't know what to believe. Some of the money was also for suspension and the suspension I think so far is fine. Lastly he offered to do an engine replacement for $2100 because as he said "felt bad for me". Part of me wanted to say yes, I called him today and wanted to confirm with that it was final price and that I didn't want to pay more. And that until the vehicle was repaired I wanted to keep the yelp review at 3 stars. His answer was that he hung up on me and "didn't want to play games".
