As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted. All of the service reps were taking care of customers. The rep I spoke to asked questions to get to know my driving needs. I was there to have them check my tires. After he looked at them with a measuring tool he gave me options and prices. I felt pricing and service was good and I would recommend Discount Tire to my friends and family. I purchased all four tires. read more

Daniel hooked us up on a one time deal because of the situation we got ourselves into on the highway involving a bungee cord! We were in and out with all 4 tires replaced at a really nice price! His main concern was keeping us safe on the road and we appreciate a store like that! read more

This review is well overdue! I got a flat tire on my way to work back in October of 2025. I booked an appointment online to have the tire addressed for 430pm that afternoon. I had to wait in line, and then had to wait about 20 minutes before my car was taken in. However, I was out in an hour and able to drive across town and pick up my son before his karate class was over! This is a busy location- but these men work fast! I'll definitely be back!! Unfortunately- I don't recall names but surely all deserve praise! read more

I don't recommend going to this discount tire. The technician scraped my brand new wheel. It took a while to get the complaint going but overall i managed to get my wheel fix. If you don't want your wheels to get scraped i recommend going to another discount tire in the north side read more

Mark was absolutely fantastic! He was able to look up my previous purchase and recommend additional needed service (alignment) at another DT shop. Although I didn't care about what it would cost me (I just wanted the problem fixed), he price shopped anyway to ensure I would be happy. They have a lady in the shop that came out to tell me I was almost ready to go; she wanted to make sure if I wanted the spare put up or just in the bed of my truck. How sweet of them for thinking ahead! Four tires and one hour later, I was back on the road - headed to my alignment appt that Mark set up. Great job DT! You earned every bit of these five stars! read more

Never ever go to discount tire they will always find a reason to try to make you spend money on a tire rotation

Denied me a nail patch. Tried making some excuse on why he couldn't. I just know that he did not want to patch my tire due to them closing in 30 minutes. Can't believe they'd rather me risk driving with a nail in my tire and risk a blow out on the road. Very terrible of discount tire. read more

I called to get a carry out price, as opposed to having them installed by Discount. The charge was in upwards of $100, I tried to bargain, but as good as I am they didnt budge. Cool, I took the tires to my neighborhood tire shop, Blackie`s, they mounted & balanced the tires for a whole $40! #WINNING My salesman, Baltazar was cool, listened & customer service oriented. I had done some research on tires I wanted but Baltazar informed me of some issues there might be since the tire appeared to be discontinued anyhow. He found me some Toyo`s for my Toyota, I later found out they had a $60 rebate not to mention I also got my 10% military discount, so I made out good. I filed my rebate online & within 2 weeks, I had the gift card in my hand. Took that $60 card & got my car aligned for......$60! New tires & alignment for $460! #WINNING!! read more

I have fairly expensive wheels and so I don't trust them to many tire shops...this Discount Tire shop is the exception!! I brought a wheel/tire in for a nail repair and they assured me my wheel would be handled with care! They used a plug patch from the inside of the tire because it was a high performance tire and it's exactly what I was looking for in a repair!! I recommend everyone to get their tires and tire related service done at Discount Tire on SW Military Drive!! read more

Double check their work. I took my vehicle in because there was a wire sticking out of a tire, causing a slow leak. When I returned for pickup they told me all four tires were good, no problem. I told the guy about the wire, we went out together to check and the wire was still there. Apparently they checked wrong tire so beware when they claim they've checked all your tires. read more

Took three times to get new tires right. Could have been fixed the first time. Finally got salesman to listen to me.

I booked an appointment 11:30am arrived on time, was quoted a completion time of 12:39. On the text message sent to me says I arrived 11:44-12:04 that's not true I arrived at 11:28. Now my truck is in the bay 12:39 and I look up to find several workers going through my middle console so I go up to register to ask what is going on?? The worker said they were looking for your key? I'm like ok, why didn't they ask for it? They have always asked me for it, never have I seen them going through my personal belongings. I am very mad!! It's now 1:11 and my truck is still in the bay. read more

Being a glass-half-empty type of guy, I'm always suspicious of anything labeled FREE. There's always a catch or some request attached, but I suppose good things can come without a cost, sometimes. When I woke up on the morning of May 25, 2022, my trash cans were knocked over from the weather, I felt like my fancy fridge was about to go on the fritz, and then my low tire light flashed while I was sitting in heavy traffic with a long way to go. Picking up trash cans is nothing. Worrying about a new fridge is just paranoia, but my only automobile rendered immobile is, at least for me, a legitimate cause for panic. Blooms of stress and anxiety appeared on the horizon in front of me. I-35 is no place to be with a flat tire. After a quick Google Maps consultation, I found a glimmer of hope. Discount Tire was just an exit away. I decided it was worth being late to work, to go somewhere I could trust, even if it meant the typical hours of wait time. To my genuine surprise and much needed relief, this Discount Tire saved the day! Alfred immediately took my keys with a smile, The tire-techs patched my ride, and I was back on the road in less than 20minutes! NO WALLET INVOLVED. (And I made it to work on time) read more

Great and fast service. Got great customer service from Daniel D. Helped answer my questions and provided the best input to my situation.

If I could give zero stars I would! Daniel lied and said my tires couldn't be fixed charged me $601 for 3 new tires for me to leave with the same exact tires he told me couldn't be fixed! Not to mention I had the certificate for the tires so why did I have to pay?! You need honest employees! I advise you recoach and retrain the employees on how to sell with integrity! read more

For being a customer for years I didn't expect them to tell me my lug nut was already missing when it came in to replace my tire. I have a special tool to remove my rims so all they had to do was ask not break it off. I called them about it and they basically lied to me. Well that left a bad taste in my mouth. Here's the proof of their great work that took an hour to do with an appointment. Oh one last thing they forgot to put my air valve cap back on so I had to buy some more. Thank you Discount Tire! read more

I set up an appointment online and got into the store about a half hour prior. Adam greeted me and helped me out. He listened to my needs and understood what was happening and what I was looking for. They didn't have the exact tire size I was looking for, but Adam made sure to let me know what they had .. showed the total with warranty and remembered that I mentioned I was military and added in the discount. Great service and happy with the overall visit. Always great to have a good talk with a fellow car enthusiast! Huge plus, they now have a service progress tracker that tells you where your vehicle is and when work is completed. read more

Ended off my road trip from Washington State to San Antonio, Tx. I caught a flat on my last day of travels. I worked with Robert and his mechanics. They were great and responsive ! Got me in First thing in the morning, and even when I forgot my wheel locks, They rescheduled me within the hour! Once I came back with my wheel locks at 9:45- They were finished with my tires by 9:55! A few months ago my car had a nail in the tire and I wanted to get it fixed myself because my husband acts like I *put* the nails in my tires! (*Karma later put 3 nails in 2 of his truck tires:0) Went to Discount Tires because my tire had a puncture; the first thing they said is if they determine the tire isn't road worthy they "can't" put the tire back on--essentially you either buy one of their tires, put the tire *they* took off back on yourself, or you can't leave. I can only assume Discount Tires got sued at some point and came up with this car hostage policy--Instead, I think having you sign a document that says they have determined your tire is not road worthy, advised you to put on a new tire before departure, you refused, and they are only restoring your car to to condition it was in when you checked in, would be a better policy, though they don't seem to be hurting for business as it's alway crowded (it's advisable to make an appointment). Now I go to Big O Tires down the street; my tires are nail magnets so I think we're going to be good friends *My husband's truck is lifted, with heavy duty tires; Discount Tires couldn't loosen the lug nuts to get the tires off so he had to take the lug nuts off for them. read more

These guys are nice. I ordered four tires fir my Chrysler crossfire. Also two tire sensors. I returned the next day to have the tires and sensors installed. Turns out my car does not have a spare tire compartment. Had to reorder tires that have a 50 mile leeway if I get a flat. Added$300 plus . They got the tires ordered and I returned in a few hours to have them installed. Plus the sensors. The tires work, the sensors work but the tire light is still on. Was told to take it to the dealer for adjustment. read more

I really don't know how this company has high ratings, when I was younger I used to fix flat for about 5 years, these guys were telling me that because the repair was close to the corner that I would need a new tire on my 2019 ram truck, I'm like i don't think so buddy, I bet a lot of women are taken advantage of this , a corner leak not holding is like slim to none, if done correctly of course, but you got these young guys that they teach them that theory, I went to Medina's muffler radiator tire , fix a cold shop , 10 minutes later out the door and my tire is as good as new , don't let these guys sucker you into buying a new tire when you really don't need to, god bless read more

in the past discount tire has been my #1 go to place for tires, now I would not spend a penny more there, for over 15 years I was a loyal customer but it seems like now the management and tire technicians don't take the time to do the little things to help customers, for example like fixing a flat tires, took my truck there and the tire tech said he couldn't complete the job because it was possible I had 3 stripped lug studs, which I thought was absurd because I recently took my tires off to replace the rear rotors, so long story short I went down the street to a mom n pops tire shop and he removed my tire just fine and fixed my flat for $10, and the studs were not stripped at all! He did a very good job and rarely spoke english, it's sad to say I nor my family members will not ever step into a discount tire shop again, they sent me away with a leaking tire just because the tire tech assumed the threads on my wheel studs were stripped! What an experience after being a long time customer. read more

I was extremely impressed of the overall efficiency and technique applied by the service tech, when fitting a new tire, and eventually rotating my tires on the vehicle, along with a new tire valve stem.
