Went in about 3 weeks prior to get a small windshield crack repair performed. Was in and out in 15…read moreminutes, told to sign a non-guarantee statement. About a week a ago, noticed one of the cracks getting longer. Received a text from a Leslie M, asking for a follow up on my glasswork. Relayed to her that one of the tiny cracks has become longer. Leslie, offered for me to come in, so the business could take a look at it, try a "run-stop" procedure, and stated (again) that this procedure was not 100% guaranteed. I drove back to the shop today (09/08). As I walked into the store, young lady at the counter saw me, looked away, walked to the back into another room. Sat in waiting room for a good 10 minutes. Finally decided to walk to the back where she was siting, and explained the whole situation. Shortly after a technician and I discussed which crack had increased in length, stated that he would attempt to redrill that specific crack in an attempt to prevent further damage (very polite). I walked back into the shop, and when I asked, I was told there would be an additional charge. I find this business practice absolutely ridiculous. Bait me to come back in to attempt to fix an unresolved problem only to charge a customer a second time for the same issue. I refused and left, will take my business elsewhere on principle.

Therefore, I also did not chose to have it repaired instead of replaced. That makes no sense as the quote was for the repairs however they are to be done. Of course I would want the top to be replaced if necessary. It also was Never explained to me that without replacement it would not look new - conversation absolutely NEVER happened. Yes, minor scratches that Collision Center caused were buffed out. The major deep scratches on my door that CC caused were not buffed out because the shop scratched too deep. It was Collision Center choice to not replace the roof of my car and Collision Center choice to not repair the damage to my door that occurred at their shop.

I went by a few body shops for estimates and was rushed through. They seemed to not care if i did business there or not. I stopped by Collision Center of Lubbock and one of the adjusters there did a very accurate detailed description of the work they would perform. She printed out the estimate and walked me through the whole process. At that point i was so impressed that i told her to order the parts and move ahead with the repair. My truck was there about three weeks. It took a lot of work to take off the box and do it back to factory specifications. The GM (Daniel) and owner (Lowell) both made sure that the truck was to my 100% satisfaction. When i picked it up it looked better than off the showroom floor. These are fine people that did me right.

I stopped in one afternoon to see about having my truck washed. The gal at the front desk had a very difficult time explaining that they were too busy but finally made me an appointment for the following morning. we decided to forgo the interior and only focus on the exterior due to the 3 to 4 hours they require (just for a basic wash!!). I returned in the morning and was greeted by the same gal and another employee. He explained that there was no way they would/could accommodate me. huh??! I explained that I had an appointment for now and I took the time to drive all the way here to just have the exterior washed. He again said they needed my truck for 3-4 hours still and there was no guarantee that they would be able to complete in that time. I even offered to give my number, aasking them to call me if they got a break in their schedule any day or time, I could be back within 15 minutes, nope, they were not interested. Whoa, I am quite certain they did not want to serve me as a customer. I have heard this same story at other businesses and will just need to accept this as the new business practice. This is very sad indeed, welcome to 2023.
