NOTE: During this process they will listen to all your questions and WIll NOT attempt to just make another dollar off of you. FYI- I attempted to gain three estimates by three different companies with Glass Guru being one of them. The other two showed me a very poor experience by one showing up and asking me what the dimensions were and did not in my mind look like they should be earning my business. The other company didn't call back as they stated or show up to give me a proper estimate. We were in need of windows and a front door on our business. After calling several contractors,…read moregetting estimates and advise, we went with Lubbock glass and mirror. Big mistake. The salesman came over and told us that he could order and install a door that would fit the opening. After waiting 6 weeks for the "special order" door to arrive, it was brought to our business by the installers. After removing the old door, and attempting to install the new door, they discovered that they had ordered the wrong door. They called their boss and he informed them that it was a standard door and that we would have to enlarge the opening. The installer stated that we would get a refund because we didn't get our "special order" door, yeah that didn't happen. After getting the opening enlarged, which by the way cost an additional $1200, the installers came back 3 different times to install the door. They were unable to get it level and square. Eventually had to hire another contractor to level and square and finish the door. They will give you all kinds of excuses why they can or can't do something, but if you want it done correctly call someone else.
