Jason the owner took on my project personally. He even took time to listen to stories about my Grandmother. Asking me questions that showed he cared & it was more than just another project. This was a owner exhibiting the fundamentals of humanity!! Which lets face it, is rare in our current business climate. Once my project was done Jason took time to write me a card. I read the card when I got home and cried and cried some more. Not just because the words written were so heartwarming. BUT the card was dated on my birthday!!! It felt serendipitous that my project honoring my Grandmother ended up being a birthday present I can never forget! Touché, touché!! Thank you Jason!!! Working in education and also being involved in non-profit organization boards, I have found myself…read moreneeding to buy trophies, plaques, or paperweights every now and then. I'm grateful that I came across Sun Devil Trophy & Awards in Tempe many years ago. I have been placing purchases and picking them up from the Tempe location every year or two for the last 15 years or so. They have great products and even better customer service, and the products meet most any price points I have had. While I initially look at the website, I also have several of their catalogs at work. I have reached out to the store by phone and e-mail with questions, and often find myself working with Derek (manager) or one of his team members. While I don't work or live in Tempe, I find myself in Tempe quite often with work meetings. Whenever I pick up items, the staff will walk me through everything I have ordered to ensure that I am satisfied with the items. This past year, I needed to buy paperweights for a non-profit organization, and I learned that they had a limited supply of excess acrylic paperweights in various colors including graving. I jumped at those last year and will likely do that again this year. I have also found budget-friendly plaques with logos on them I have purchased for my students and staff after we hosted two conferences a few years back. If you go to their website (https://www.sundeviltrophy.com), you can sign up for their e-mail list at the bottom right of the page. You can also view their catalogs, find contact information, sign into your actual account, and of course see many items and their prices (and order items online). They are open on weekdays from 8 AM to 4 PM and closed on weekends. While the parking in front of their store is minimal, I have always found a spot on any visit to pick up items. I certainly recommend anyone in Arizona to use Sun Devil Trophy & Awards.

They do have Grab Bag bins around the store with gear that is 40-50% off the MSRP (which means you know it's high already), so that can help. As a swim coach for a high school team, they did a great job with our order, and communication about our orders was clear. It is located in the "far" east valley, but easily accessible.
