Jason the owner took on my project personally. He even took time to listen to stories about my Grandmother. Asking me questions that showed he cared & it was more than just another project. This was a owner exhibiting the fundamentals of humanity!! Which lets face it, is rare in our current business climate. Once my project was done Jason took time to write me a card. I read the card when I got home and cried and cried some more. Not just because the words written were so heartwarming. BUT the card was dated on my birthday!!! It felt serendipitous that my project honoring my Grandmother ended up being a birthday present I can never forget! Touché, touché!! Thank you Jason!!! If you are looking to get a project done to recognize or have an award made, please trust Tempe Trophy!!

Working in education and also being involved in non-profit organization boards, I have found myself…read moreneeding to buy trophies, plaques, or paperweights every now and then. I'm grateful that I came across Sun Devil Trophy & Awards in Tempe many years ago. I have been placing purchases and picking them up from the Tempe location every year or two for the last 15 years or so. They have great products and even better customer service, and the products meet most any price points I have had. While I initially look at the website, I also have several of their catalogs at work. I have reached out to the store by phone and e-mail with questions, and often find myself working with Derek (manager) or one of his team members. While I don't work or live in Tempe, I find myself in Tempe quite often with work meetings. Whenever I pick up items, the staff will walk me through everything I have ordered to ensure that I am satisfied with the items. This past year, I needed to buy paperweights for a non-profit organization, and I learned that they had a limited supply of excess acrylic paperweights in various colors including graving. I jumped at those last year and will likely do that again this year. I have also found budget-friendly plaques with logos on them I have purchased for my students and staff after we hosted two conferences a few years back. If you go to their website (https://www.sundeviltrophy.com), you can sign up for their e-mail list at the bottom right of the page. You can also view their catalogs, find contact information, sign into your actual account, and of course see many items and their prices (and order items online). They are open on weekdays from 8 AM to 4 PM and closed on weekends. While the parking in front of their store is minimal, I have always found a spot on any visit to pick up items. I certainly recommend anyone in Arizona to use Sun Devil Trophy & Awards.

This place is FANTASTIC! ~~~~~~~~~…read moreI ordered two laser engraved metal plates for my Eagle Scout project. I originally intended to go to a local trophy shop, but the prices online persuaded me to order them online at Newline. I was hesitant, but they have continuously impressed me. When submitting the order form, it had room for a single logo. After contacting them, they assured me they could do multiple logos for no extra charge. Perfect! I emailed them the two logos, the text, and a reference design I found online. Within ten minutes of submitting the logos and reference, the manager called me. They had already started designing the plate, but one of the logos was too low of quality. He had researched online for alternatives, but could not find anything. I resubmitted a higher quality logo, and by the next day, Ryan had designed an AMAZING plate design. ~~~~~~~~~ TLDR: BEST customer service I have ever worked with. They custom design amazing engravings that will make any trophy or project look AMAZING. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I took it back and they fixed it for free (making it a little more sturdy as well.) While I was there, I mentioned that our boat's window had broken. They were able to bond it together and it worked well for quite a while, but it couldn't handle the beating that the boats takes on the water. They were very kind, friendly, helpful and reasonable. They are still manufacturing our plaques today. When covid hit in 2020, our banquet was cancelled and again in 2021. The ASF Board contacted Lane Award Manufacturing with a special request to make one plaque for our 91-year-old. They immediately stepped up and made her plaque.
