Awesome custom shirts! Our company does promotional shirts every so often and have had mixed experiences with various shops in and around Phoenix.... but when we had them done at Snider, we were blown away. They are silk screened for one and the ink is seemless... We did a silver and red on black shirts.. Our most successful promotional giveaway yet. I am actually writing this two years AFTER getting the shirts done. A shirt recipient contacted us and said that the shirt finally wore out.... after two years of using it 4 days a week working out.... not too shabby. read more

Snider did an excellent job on our jersey's. When I came to write this review I noticed they had one bad review from over 10 years ago. This type of thing makes no sense. All the reviews that are shown are old. The newer reviews seem to be suppressed below the shown reviews in an area "30 other reviews that are not currently recommended". I think people should click that and read the real reviews. If all the reviews were shown Snider would have 34 5-star reviews and one 1-star review. The 1-star review has the owners reply. It would appear that the only negative review was from a competitor. What's more Snider was just voted Best of Gilbert for 2022. I'd say they are Rockin' It! We were in a pinch and needed some football jersey name plates before the upcoming Saturday game. Lisa and team at Snider went out of their way to accommodate us in a very short time frame. If it wasn't for Lisa we would have had to tell some 7 year old boys that they weren't going to be able to play football that day. Due to my schedule I wasn't able to pick them up before closing time and Lisa took time out her night and met with me and went back to the office to let me get the Jerseys for the game the next morning. Snider saved us and helped make a few kids day! We will be using Snider for any and all of our custom apparel needs moving forward. I will also add, we DID win that Saturday's game! I work at a Jr high school in Gilbert and needed baseball caps for our first game. No one was able to accommodate us in a timely fashion, until we found sniders. They not only got us 50 hats in less than 8 hours but also embroidered every last one of them. At 4pm that same day, our players ran out on the field with their new caps. History

Established in 2006.

Having 2 boys in sports since they were 3 years old, Lisa Snider was always very involved with each team, finding herself choosing their spirit wear & uniforms (shirts, jerseys, pants, hats, ect.). The more she did it, the more she enjoyed it. During this time Lisa found out that a friend who owned a screen printing & embroidery business, just happened to be selling, Lisa decided to take it over! She changed the name to Snider Sports & Apparel. Since then, Lisa has added more embroidery machines, more efficient screen print capacity, & began offering promotional products. Lisa had family who owned a promotional products, embroidery, & screen printing shop so she was familiar with the industry. We have grown to be a key supplier to local schools, businesses, clubs, sports organizations, leagues, & local government agencies. Unlike many screen printing & embroidery shops, we still work with those who want 1 or 2 shirts, hats, jackets, bags, or other custom apparel. Try us out!

Meet the Business Owner: Lisa S.

Lisa purchased the business, because as a parent of two sons who were involved with league and schools sports, she felt that the service and quality for team garments wasn't being met. After many years, Snider Sports & Apparel continues to offer uniforms, jerseys, t-shirts, hats, sweats, and jackets to local schools, leagues, Pop Warner, Little League, and coaches. We have grown to supply embroidered and screen printed garments to Boys & Girls Clubs, local government agencies, and local businesses both large and small. Lisa has kept Snider Sports & Apparel up to date with the latest in Embroidery, screen printing, heat press, Bling, and Full Color Sublimation for garments and many other products like blankets, table covers, and exhibitors' booths. While they didn't have a jersey, they did have a shirt and so be it. She was able to print and have it ready for me by Thursday. I was in West Valley on Thursday, but she stuck around on a Friday afternoon until I was able to pick it up and the shirt was perfect. My best man caught the shirt and plans to toss it at his wedding.

I had not great experiences at the Phoenix sewing multi-brand store (not Mulqueen or Bernina). I had said I wanted to stay under $1k and had received the most appalled reaction and customer service. Contrast to Mulqueen. Walk in, all the machines are on & ready to play with. I had called to check availability of a few models and chose this location over tempe based on machines on the floor. I brought scraps with me & set to testing but was quickly confused by some of the buttons. A woman appeared right about that time, sat down next to me and walked me through it. Keep in mind this was a $500 machine not $3k or something. She even suggested a less expensive version next to it often used in their classes (Janome) ultimately decided this was too basic & I missed computerized so she walked me to the Juki I requested next & I quickly set to work testing it. This particular model (hzl f600) was over m y budget but I knew the basic functionality was similar to the ones I was considering. Absolutely loved it! Denim, slippery rayon, no issues. She said you know we might have this used. She walked me to the oasis of used/refurb machines. They had every machine I was considering-available used/refurb and under $1k!! I ultimately got the f600 used -could not be happier-and saved enough to buy way more fabric than I need. My only complaint is we need a location in Phoenix or Scottsdale!!!! The gentleman in the refurb area was also super helpful answering questions the woman couldn't (she had long gray hair but didn't catch a name). Well worth the 35 minute drive & seriously only place I will go for machines.

Truly hands-on, patient, and made sure everyone left with a piece they were proud of, whether they chose to keep it or not. One thing to note: I wouldn't recommend this specific class for out-of-towners. If you want to keep your piece, the process takes about a month. First firing, then returning to paint, then a second firing. You also pay separately for any pieces you choose to keep and paint. Our class was $35 per person, and it's $20 per piece for firing if you plan to come back and paint it. It's a commitment, but also two fun experiences if you're local or don't mind returning. Overall, I'm taking off one star due to our specific experience with their wheel throwing activity, but I still think the concept of this place is great, and I look forward to coming back to paint my piece as well as to try a different activity!
