Then we were told he could not come back out that night and to keep running our boiler to 'burn off the soot' which led to dangerous levels of smoke in our home. Called again and received no return call. Hired someone else to come out and he was shocked. I called Maus this morning and they had their team out right after lunch. The well pump had failed (not surprising as it was original to the house when it was built in 1980). 3 1/2 hours later we had a new well pump and cap for our well. And our water is back on!!
