I started bringing in my 1999 Subaru Forester, and every visit was fast, efficient, and straightforward. Near the end of that car's life, he gave me an honest assessment--there wasn't much he could do for it, and he even recommended a specialized shop. He didn't try to push unnecessary work and didn't charge for the visit. That kind of integrity really stuck with me. Now I bring in my Toyota RAV4, and I've had the same reliable service. Most recently, I had a dashboard light come on--he found that a rat had chewed some electrical wires. He fixed the issue, confirmed everything else looked great, and got me back on the road quickly. What sets this place apart is the genuine honesty, professionalism, and pride in doing right by the customer. He doesn't upsell, doesn't overcharge, and treats your car like it matters. I brought my car here per my dad's recommendation as him and my sister get all their work done here. I got my car towed from my house to their shop and they were in constant communication with me, letting me know when my car got there to updates along the way. I spoke with Davey and he asked me to describe what the other shop told me was the issue and he insisted that wasn't the case and said he needed more time. He ended up calling me promptly to let me know he had diagnosed the problem and that it was GOOD NEWS. The first spot I brought my car to diagnosed a shot engine and that it would cost me $6,200 for labor and parts to fix my car. Davey and Jon at Winston diagnosed it CORRECTLY with a broken heater core and hose which after parts and labor was only an $850 FIX! Definitely not cheap and not fun to pay for, but MUCH different than $6.2k!!! I picked my car up from Davey yesterday and he was so stoked that he was able to save me the headache and MONEY that I thought I needed to fork out (or figure out if I just needed a new car). The nicest guy and TRUSTWORTHY which is huge when it comes to mechanics. Seriously can not sing their praises ENOUGH and I will be coming back here for ANY vehicle repairs from now on. P.S. Also that the employee forgot to hit tax for the non food items. They had me stop by today and refunded me the $13. dollars and offered me a free beverage as an apology. They explained and handled this to my satisfaction. Relieved because I always liked this gas station as it was clean, convenient and run by nice staff. 2/19/25 I bought 1 gal. Antifreeze window shield wiper fluid, an Arizona tea, a pack of gum, and a charm lollipop. I was on the phone and ran my card. I was charged $25. Flat no tax. I asked for my receipt the attendant printed it out it was not itemized. The attendant said he did not have an itemized receipt when he uses the hand gun. The wiper fluid is taxable in the state of Washington . I asked how much the wiper fluid was, attendant said $19.99. Nice markup. No itemized receipt no tax collected .

But I stopped in a couple of weeks ago and asked if they could check my tires because the light was on as I am no longer able to manipulate the air pressure pumps etc. due to an injury . Not only was I told they don't do it but they weren't even nice about it. I left feeling like I lost a best friend. I hope it was just the person minding the station having a bad day.
