For $190 it was supposed to be a one week repair. Then they finally got the correct screen. We picked up the iPad after 2.5 weeks. They insisted on cash because their register was "broken". We'll just a couple weeks later the home button was broken. They replaced my cracked screen for $90.00. Shortly after replacing my screen my phone began turning off, freezing, and lines would appear on the screen. I took the phone in and explained the issues I was having. They went through the process again and "tightened" everything up on the inside and said they fixed it. However the issues continued. So I brought in my phone again. They told me that actually the screen was faulty so that replaced my screen for a second time. That still did not fix how my phone was acting. I went in a third time and was told that apparently when you update Iphones and then get your phone repaired at a store other than Apple it messes with how your phone functions. The guy apologized and said he should have warned me before replacing my screen. I said no problem, please just refund me my money, at this point I did not think it is fair to be out $90 and be left with a phone that no longer works properly. The service guy told me no refunds under any circumstance. After reasoning with him, he said I would have to speak with the manager. My fourth time going in I spoke with the manager. Boy was that a treat... He did not care at all about my phone and how it was their fault. He only cared about the money he would be losing. He kept saying, I understand you was a refund but then I make no money! I was honestly shocked how rude he was speaking to me and how he clearly only cared about his needs. FINALLY however I did receive my refund. It was a long and frustrating process and now I am off to AT&T to get a new phone all together since now my phone freezes, turns off, and has lines that will appear randomly across the screen. My best advice would be to shop around! And stay away from the Cell Doc Store in the Briarwood Mall located in Ann Arbor, MI.
